Neutral to Lance and Red, because it's technically both of their themes (correct me if he isn't Champion for Johto, because I have never played Gen II). But, no, seriously, this is amazing. ***** They aren't ferocious legends like Deity Link or whatever. Even Blue is all chill when he first meets you. And the smoothness of the SM version isn't "Not legendary" at all. It well combines Red and Blue's battle themes into a smooth/epic remix that's perfect for a good battle
"Good battle" seems to be what Red is always after too. In the mind of the trainer he faces and in the theme of his music we'll always feel and perceive it as a showdown with a legend. In his mind though, he's probably thinking, "Good battle, okay?" even though he'll never say it himself.
Because The one you fight in gen 2 and gen 4 remakes and play as in gen 1 is differant from the one you fight in lets go and gen 7 Game Freak confirmed this with from Pokemon Red and Green(blue) and Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 beloning in the *Original Timeline* , a time line of which mega evalution does not exist ( the ultimate weppon was never fired thus pokemon X and Y, sun and moon, and Let's Go would never have happened. ) The Red you fight in Sun and Moon and Let's Go is in the *Mega Timeline* ( timeline with megas ) consisting of (in canonical order) Let's Go, ORAS, and Sun/Moon aswell as containing X/Y and Sword/Sheild, but we don't know where those four games fall in the timeline. The reason Red/Green is swaped with Let's Go is because in the mega timeline Red and Blue are born 2 years earlier (plus green is a sepret character from red), thus going on their journy prior to the pokedex being invented and the Team Rocket events thus leaving Chase/Elira and Trace to defeat Team Rocket. P.S. D/P's inevitable remake would go right after ORAS in the Mega Timeline

hmm I think this is the first remix/remastering I've heard by you that I didn't absolutely fall in love with haha. to be honest, I see what you were trying to go for here, but imo even when music wants to be chaotic there should be some overarching order to it, and this seems to straddle the line between controlled chaos and just straight disordered....however it's probably just a difference in opinion/taste between you and I because I've heard way too much of your work to believe that this might be an issue of the quality of work. anyway, still a great remix, as usual :D
