I think she's not known due to lack of promotion overseas ... its so strange to hear her songs as they sound like they should be among the greatest classics but are actually not as famous as one would feel from hearing them....

Very classy, very smooth. No vulgarity, no violence and no tacky "bling", fake ghetto nonsense or flaunting the flesh... Just a talented lady with her voice and some proper soul music. We should go back to this some day, at least I hope we do!

I remember hearing Randy Crawford singing “Street life” with The Crusaders back in the late 70s. She has one of the most pure and unique voices I have ever heard. She’s classy and silky smooth. One of my all time favorite jazz vocalists.
