@@carolinellewellyn4630 annoying isn’t it. I’m in Australia also and was surprised when I was in Italy in 2019 that dogs go everywhere with their owners.... wish we could do that here. My dog is better behaved than some kids 🤣❤️😂
NZ definitely isn’t dog friendly. My girls aged 8 and 12 were delighted to find themselves sat next to a cute wee dog on our flight from Paris to Florence on our holiday .
My FILs family is from Ischia. We visited Forio for the first time in fall 2019. Can't wait to return! So beautiful and close enough to Amalfi/Naples. Thank you for the lovely vlog~
Such fun to watch, I was so engaged I could have watched forever! I jumped with you in the tunnels, kind of scary! My mothers family is from there and I have never been, so it's treat to see it. TY!
We spent a day in Ischia. We ate in a very small restaurant on a back street. The waitress said she had a fish and rabbit. She told us she was born in ischia, raised in Connecticut. The rabbit came with his teeth intact. It was one of the most memorable meals we have had on our many trips to Italy. We had a lot of laughs, good food with good friends. It was a perfect day.
I love your videos! My daughter and I visited Naples, Pompei and Italy for the first time last August. She picked the spot out without telling me and bought tickets and everything. I was a little overwhelmed by Naples, but we had a blast. I'm thinking we need to go back and visit Positano, Capri and Ischia!
So brave of you to walk though those hand dug tunnels in "The Rock House" on your vary next trip to Ischia after you experienced that earthquake the year prior 😳 lol ....on the other hand, that house is probably a few hundred years old and has survived all of the earthquakes and tremors in Ischia over the years, including the 1883 quake...the beautiful and crazy history of Italy - it's mesmerizing!
Ischia through your eyes is a lovely place for a relaxing vacation with beautiful views, yummy looking food and friendly people. A perfect vacation for you Carlo and Holly.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 37 years ago I visited this Island, and Capri! I brought a beautiful dining table cloth from there for my Mother. Just viewing via your Vlog still reminds me of its exquisitness. Viva Italia💙
Loved the place you were staying in the kitchen esp with the blue tiles !enjoyed the pebble house like seeing flintstones home. Love the way carlos smiles whenever you direct the camera at him.
Hi!from India!Chanced upon ur videos and loved them so much that I should plan to visit all these places in the near future!U should be made an tourism ambassador of ur country fr promoting ur country so beautifully!
I spent the afternoon watching the videos on Ischia, Capri, Cornwall, Clifftop Hike to a Secret Beach and another on errands and cooking. It was a lovely way to spend an otherwise boring afternoon, thank you!
What a beautiful day out together well deserved nice to see Ischia my mother who was Italian always said Ischia is beautiful i will pay a visit during my time in Italy hope you enjoyed your time there thank you for sharing beautiful people
Wow I had no idea about Ischia so thank you for sharing. I pray one day I will be back to italy and will definitely add Ischia to a place to visit. As you know, I love your videos. I just love seeing how beautiful your area is.
I had to laugh thinking of toilet paper made of pebbles. Imaging using something like that... Still, one has to give the owner credit for being consistent.
Thank you for the tour, I loved it. You are lucky with Holly. In Australia all you see are No Dogs Allowed signs. She is so sweet I wouldn’t want to ever leave her at home. That stone house was hilarious, the tap was a talking point But I don’t fancy sitting on the loo or in the bath tub. Ouch!
Just what I needed to give me a nudge and book my next Ischia trip. Roll on September. Love your Vlog! I love the quiet of Ischia Ponte, staying at Villa Antonio, which has the best view on the island (other than the Castello terrace. The stone house is a new one for me.... reminds me of the story of King Midas, just with stone instead of gold.
I would have thought it was obvious that the helmet and scooter were borrowed while on the island. I don’t tend to travel with my own helmet which fits perfectly, unless I am travelling by my own scooter.
I can never get tired of watching your vlogs. What a beautiful place! I want to come back to Italy so bad LOL! I don't know what I would be more scared of riding around in the scooters or that tunnel! Thanks Nicki for sharing. Beautiful skirt!
Did you realize you had just happened upon the English group Jamiroquai? The last band videoed on the street. So special to just see them randomly for free!
Lovely memories, seen the weird house with all those stones the restaurant pescatore and the ice cream place. Have a smashing holiday the three of you.
Awesome vid as usual😀👍 perfect to watch on my Sunday morning. I can’t even imagine how long it must have taken that guy to decorate the house and everything inside it with all those stones!!!! 😁
What a treat to discover your channel & blogs! Amazing pictures and jaw dropping views. I fell in love with the terrace of the hotel you stayed in Ischia; may we know the name ?..please ! ... would love to book ASAP ! .... many thanks in advance ! .... never mind ... got it ! ... Relais Bijoux Hotel....got to watch the video a few times ! but it was worth it !
Thank you for another great video! Can you write the name of that place you stayed my spelling is terrible and would consider staying on our vacation. We love the places that are smaller and not over tourest-y.
Ischia is another cue town, That house your toured made out of stone is something else. When you were walking through the first tunnel or cave I thought I saw a person head in a basket or something. There is no way that man takes a bath in that tub made of stone?
Yaay Thanku for the longer video Nicki & ur reply 😁 ........(minus the daily steps grind) 😩 U really are living the holiday life there in Italy 😎 ......very lucky girl indeed.....Bless to u & the Fam!!......Luv Fr. Australia ❤💙💚💛💜
its really not a holiday life.. i just don't think it would be so interesting if I showed the house cleaning, the washing line, the cleaning of cat vomit and other normal things!
I noticed you posted this video in June. I wonder if the music playing in the streets is related to the summer solstice. They do it in France. One year I was there at that time, and when I arrived in Lausanne, Switzerland on the next weekend, they had their summer music festival. I live in California, and there’s a few summer solstice music events in interesting venues, but not all over a city. Lovely video!
Hi, Nicki, Carlo & Miss Holly! Great video and such a gorgeous Island🌟 From what my mom has told me my Grandfather was from Ischia. Thank you for sharing. Waiting eagerly for Part 2. 🌟🏝🙌🐶🛵🍒❤️
Is in your opinion Ischia more worth a day trip than Procida? It seems there is more to see on Ischia however the views on Procida are tempting for me as well.
Every day a feast for the eyes. Such a wonderful place to live. There is probably very little crime because the S urroundings would soothe any anger out of people........I’m thinking....

I love stones but that toilet paper cover was too much !! haha OMgosh. Ischia Is. is incredible!! Like a paradise. Every view !! Thank you so much for sharing, Nicki..(Does Holly get tired of walking? And does Carlo have to carry her? They have varying sizes and varieties of doggie packs).
Oh my god, i love this video. That place with everything make of rocks was weird , and scary. I liked the hotel with the pool, the gelato and must of it , the food. I also enjoyed seeing Holly. By the way , how old is Holly? She is so cute.! 💝
Without wanting to desrespect the owner of the house... surely there are some artistic creativity there, however the excess of it... it becomes quite bizarre the house decor and it feels claustrophobic and a bit creepy.
I'm Carlo, Ciao Carol he is unusual, but when I talked to him, he made me understand, in his mind, that he was driven by the passion to create something artistic.
Hi, I am Italian and I live in Ischia, and this video happened to me by scrolling on TH-cam and I never expected one to make a video about Ischia.
perche no? Ischia e bello!
You are so lucky to be able to take Holly with you everywhere. The US is not so dog friendly.
I'm just watching this too. I'm from Australia and we can't take our dog anywhere.

Love the ‘pebble house’. We can see Ischia from our house on a clear day.
We can see it from the road to Piano on a clear day too!
How does Holly balance so well on the scooter 😮
So your kitchen is outside? How lovely! Your hotel is adorable, great views.
Ischia through your eyes is a lovely place for a relaxing vacation with beautiful views, yummy looking food and friendly people. A perfect vacation for you Carlo and Holly.
This was life as we use to live it, and hopefully will be able to live again at some point.

Thank you for sharing where you stayed, I’ve made a booking for May based on your recommendation that a day is not enough time.
Loved the place you were staying in the kitchen esp with the blue tiles !enjoyed the pebble house like seeing flintstones home.

If it had been gold it would not be there anymore!
Love the video - visiting this year - so much to look forward to. But as a biker I advise you to get a better fitting crash helmet 😊
I would have thought it was obvious that the helmet and scooter were borrowed while on the island. I don’t tend to travel with my own helmet which fits perfectly, unless I am travelling by my own scooter.
That Sphynx you saw was built for a movie from the 50s/60s about Cleopatra

Tunnels are scarier!
Do you have to take Holly's food, water and bowl with you everywhere?
Wow that stone house was insane!!! Well now everyone will believe you! Cheers from Texas!

So glad you guys had fun there! One of my favorite places. Do you have another video to show everyone else the castel?

I wonder why he started it!
I was there, very beautiful.
Wonder where he got all the rocks? Just around his property? I could explore there for hours!! (not in the tunnels though)
thank you very much for nice Videos
Hi Nicki, what's the best way to book the ferry from Positano to Ischia? I've been looking online, but I haven't been able to find a direct ferry.

Maybe, I never did find out what it was..
What a very nice place not too many steps🤪🤪🤪
Carlos is staying quite, did it affected by the rude comments I think which is sad. If I am wrong please forgive me. It seems he really is upset.
Between positano and Ischia which one would you recommend ?
Hi Carlo here, very sincerely I strongly suggest you go to Ischia, or at least that's what I would do!😘👋
i love anything mango! 🥰

Hi Nicki, any issues with the Stromboli volcano explosion for you ? Hope all is well.
we're near Vesuvius, not Stromboli!
What a lovely trip to Ischia you took us on. I heard it's an island full o SPAs, do you recommend one specifically?
Negombo or Poseidon
Where were you exactly in ischia? Ischia has different regions
