this actually worked for my Hyundai VT. weird, but you are correct. Open doors on passenger side, turn on acc switch and roll thru functions back to off, close doors and then try on driver side. no more park lights. hmm. interesting, and thank you.
My dealer said it was smart junction box fuse box under driver side that needs to be replaced but my car was recalled for the engine bearing rod failure which made my engine knock, did update p01326 same problem occurred their tech even left my vehicle turned on with acc. Because they failed to check and tried to charge me a new battery without checking if mine was good or not which was still good..

I had same issue but the aircon stayed on when i shut off engine drained battery didnt notice first time
