This update really made me realize how well the Made in Abyss concept would fit with Minecraft. The deeper you go, the more crazy stuff you discover and the more difficult it gets to go back to the surface.

When I heard “Ancestry” from the new soundtrack for the first time, I literally stopped what I was doing and soaked it all in. Got kinda teary because it gave me a sense of when I heard “Concrete Halls” or, exploring the nether for the first time. I know comparing isn’t great but Lena did really good on that specific track, couldn’t tell the different between her style and C418
Finally, I get to see a really HD RTX pack that looks like Minecraft. I’ve seen many with realistic clouds, water, the sun, and lots of things trying to be more ‘realistic’. This is gonna be the RTX pack I’ll get. Nice work. *👏👏👏👏👏*
The darkness effect from the Warden spawning, which in RTX gives off a white-blue shimmer like at 6:50, is mesmerizing. Especially if you're in a sculk block ravine within a cave or something like that and without the orange light together with it. It's one of the scenarios where RTX truly shines (no pun intended).
wdym? It not even a drakness effect anymore it's a bright flash. There is absolutely zero fear for the player with these graphics and so the gameplay is completely removed from the game.

Bedrock literally has the rtx feature all you need is baked textures and people make plenty of those. You tweak the textures and bake in some minor depths it looks like crap without rtx but when rtx is on everything comes together making a hyper realistic Minecraft experience
Oddly enough yeah, you can actually survive a bedrock warden without armor if your lucky enough cause there are some that don't one shot you and you can out run it if you speed pillar
I'm going to be entirely honest, the thing that I feel makes RTX look so good isn't any of the fancy stuff but rather something that could be in vanilla if Mojang decides to put the day worth of effort into it, that's colored lighting, it's entirely possible and requires practically slight changes to the existing code of the game then obviously a way for each light block to either go to a default color of lighting or tag to register it's light emission color. Personally I am honestly disappointed that colored lighting is RTX exclusive (or old Java Mods exclusive) when it could've been implemented back in alpha, even before that like indev. Edit: Massive GG for beating the warden without any insanely cheaty/undeniable cheese methods, I really wasn't expecting that, that no attack cooldown really comes in clutch in that tho, I couldn't relate as a Java player post 1.9
colored light is not what mojang had to do for rtx, ray tracing is physics etc and colored light is actually a side effect of ray tracing than what it was introduced for
rtx lighting is not "colored light" but "realistic light". Ray tracing, in addition to colored light, provides shadows, interaction of light with other objects (if you obscure the light, you produce a shadow, the light becomes obscured, etc.), light-fog interactions, reflections that are not limited to the screen space and reflect everything
the fact that the colored lighting has not been introduced is a consequence of minecraft being too big a game already and it would be very difficult to introduce colored lighting at this point
Yes! EXACTLY! Colored Lux was the only mod that did it, and had support for other mods, but it's stuck at 1.12.2 which is ancient now. It would add so much to the vanilla game. I wish PR Luminance could do it, but it's locked to one color.
Raytracing can make some parts of the game look beautiful, but it tends to wash out colors, and gives many blocks a plastic appearance. You can somewhat see it in this video, but it's most prominent when your on the surface during the day. Grass blocks get this ugly white glare that exasperates that plastic look. So far I've yet to see any raytracing addon fixing that.

@@Shredonus MCPEDL, community addons, dude you don't have to pay for everything just everything Microsoft gets their hands on most of the stuff is free and there are dynamic sounds packs for bedrock Like bedrock has its own version of the Aether that is less a new dimension and more new biomes in the overworld, they're called the Holy Isles and they follow a similar concept of the Aether but aren't quite the same. Bedrock has a zombie mod that is insane and has been constantly updated since 1.16 called true survival.

There are tons of sound and physics addons but they aren't quite the same since you can't exactly run script, but the sound ones are great hell even as far back as 1.14 there were good ones, the last time I used one was 1.16 and it had ambience, distance based sounds, unique footstep sounds and even echoes in closed locations like buildings and caves.
im never watching these kind of videos again in the middle of the night. the first time the warden came to life was just CREEEEEEPY! I would immediately close the game, without even doubting haha
just kinda wish there was more light not only bouncing off a couple more sources but having the creeper glow like in the Nostalgia shader might seem to make this shader pop just a bit more. The Nostalgia shader has a really bright glow that if you tuned downm just a bit i think would apply greatly here

Don’t you guys wish that Java edition features and modding capability was in the bedrocks entire different coding system so we could have shaders like this and actually be able to run them cause it’s not on a dates Java coding wouldn’t that be nice to have the crazy easy to run bedrock render distance with no micro transactions for mods.

I think we need a new mob for the deep dark to make it a little bit more challenging. Another blind sculk mob (with sensors like the warden) but with the ability to throw a sculk ball at you causing a 5 second DPS and Darkness Effect. It's loot should be both sculk balls or sculk sensors.
Honestly I think the warden its self and the unknown skulk shriekers are dangerous enough. The ancient cities protection is the hidden skulk sensors in it. I think what the ancient city needs is more unique loot, like a new potion
warden does the same damage in java and bedrock, the only thing that helped him was the spam click, in java you can also use the same potions and notch apple to survive the warden

it all depends on the texturepack you use +in my (that visible in the video) texturepack I specially gave sculk blocks a wet look
not everything should be perfectly rough, but I'm sure there are some texturepacks that make everything rough
