Love love love your channel, your message, and can relate to your struggles...we are much different, in age, in life's paths, BUT! We serve the same God that see's us through those struggles and nudges us along. My family is from extreme North Georgia and Western NC (Hiawassee/Hayesville), grew up southern Baptist and the fear of God was instilled in me from an early age. Your love of trout fishing in mountain streams takes me back to my up bringing, such good memories. I still live in Georgia, north central (Athens/Monroe area, Go Dawgs) and have mostly traded in my trout fishing in the mountains for bass and crappie fishing from my boat, but my pursuit of the peace it brings and the hunger for God's divine comfort still finds me, no matter what I am fishing for. In fact, His peace and comfort is what I am fishing for! I vividly remember fried trout and cornbread suppers as a kid and listening to bluegrass music, I thought that is what the whole world did! Thanks for being such a steward of the ways of what defines a Class 'A' Southern Lady is, a woman of God, a woman that sticks to her roots and beliefs, a woman that is a role model for what youth should aspire to be, if they value themselves and their eternal life. You are killing it in life and I enjoy your content!
I’ve been listening to the Daily Bible podcast on Spotify. I have a hard time sitting down and reading because I do so much of it for work and school but it’s been much easier to incorporate it into my drive to work.
So wonderful to see your example of living with the Holy Spirit in your heart! It's great to have Godly people in your life. I got a text from my Pastor friend this morning that said "...praying that any temptation that comes toward you today is blown away by the power of God's grace surging in you! Love you friend!" It was a perfectly targeted prayer for me today! We keep people like him (tuned in to the Father)in our circle, Jesus can speak to us through them when we are not hearing. This is exactly why I follow you and tune in to your journey!
I have friends like that too. They lay a word on you right as you need it. It comes straight from God. I have really realized lately how important Christian community is! ❤️
