JD has been asking me for an e bike for months, so i reached out to Himiway for their off road capable zebra e-bike. They were happy to provide one for review, and let me tell you, this is a capable machine, as well as a great birthday present! - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ

What an incredible piece of film. Such a wise, handsome, and intelligent host who is obviously extremely humble
😂😂😂😂
And owner of many a Yacht!!... Of the land variety..
Clearly a product of exemplary parenting.
@@roadwarrior8213 And dont forget the owner of a Jaaag
I agree Mr. JD is all of those things, however his co-host maybe not so much. (he's a great dad though)
JD is such a cool kid. Totally deserving. Happy birthday young man enjoy your well deserved rig!
happy birthday JD, all the fun of a kids dirtbike without the noise complaints from the neighbors!
JD is such a talented and nice young man. He certainly deserves this present…Happy Birthday JD!
Oh I can see it now … from Himiway to Hemi-way?! 😳🙄😁 Happy Birthday JD & Happy 2024!
E-bikes are a blast. I'm 62 and have a sh!t eating grin whenever I'm riding mine.
Hell yeah
Awesome gift for an awesome kid! Happy birthday,JD.
Dude, that’s an amazing gift! I would have loved that as a kid man. Happy birthday JD!
Couple things to help out a bit with the riding:
1.) Don’t max out the tire PSI. Fat tires don’t need a lot to really rip in the dirt. You’ll only need like 5-10 PSI for the dirt and maybe 15 for the roads.
2.) Your axles don’t need to be super tight. Quick release (QR) axles only need to be tight enough to leave an imprint in your palm when you close them. You should be able to open and close them by hand and without bending the lever. Too tight, and your wheel bearings will be too compressed and wear out too soon, which makes the tire wobble over time.
3.) Keep that chain clean and lubed. Super clean would do fine to clean it. Use bike lube to keep your chain from rusting. I’d recommend wet lube for where you live. (This is the most important maintenance tip).
4.) Most importantly, have some good old fashioned fun! Let it eat!!!
I’d also add on from a Cobra owner: Levels 0-5 are your PAS or power assistance levels. 0 is none and 1-5 or obviously assisted with five being most power.
The menu has some secret functions like setting a passcode when first turning the bike on. Adjusting PAS to go up to 0-9. This allows a little more fine tuning for how the bike assists you. You can also up the top speed to 20 to now 24 in the menu as well. The Zebra has a cadence sensor so as long as you pedal it will assist you where as the Cobra uses a torque sensor. Lastly there is a half twist throttle on the handlebar.
Have fun!
Great for JD, love to see young guys happy. 🎉
All the best gifts are msrked "some assembly required." As the oldest son, for Christmas, I would get tools so I can put the other kids' toys together.
Happy Birthday JD!
Ngl, first time an electric bike has actually impressed me. The first one I've seen in a video that actually looks like it has potential.
happy bday jd
when the screen went black i figured jd had ran you over
Happy Birthday, J.D.! (And many, many more!)
Great channel(s), great content, great family and friends to watch doing wholesome stuff!
My best Christmas memory as a boy was 1977 as a 12 year old boy when dad took me and my little brother to pickup our new 10 speed bikes on Christmas morning! He had the man at TG&Y meet us at 8am at the store and then let us ride them across town all the way home! Thanks dad!
Happy birthday. JD!
Keep up the good work learning from your dad.
Happy Birthday JD. Hope you have a great birthday. Awesome to see him building again just waiting for him to start his channel. Keep up the great work
E bikes were just starting to gain popularity when I left a shop some 6 years ago, we had a special police electric model bike that would max out at 40mph, it was fun to run around the block.
Ebikes are the coming rage across the good old USA, JD has the best Dad on planet earth! Lucky kid!
Happy Birthday JD. Looks like you're going to have a lot of fun on that.
JD's a lucky kid! That looked terrifying and fun at the same time, awesome!
JD is gonna have some fun on that forsure. I've been building and porting the 2 stroke kits for a little while. Nice tires and brakes on that rig. Im still rocking my coaster brake it's a little sketch doing 34mph lol
Happy Birthday JD!!!! What a great gift👍🏻You deserve all the best🙂Love the goggles❤️
neat little bike and yeah it looks like it would be handy around the pits and Happy Birthday to him and a happy new year to you all
Happy birthday, jd. i like it when you made the bike invisible😅
I wish my childhood memories were half as good as his are gonna be. I have way more bad memories than good. Good for you JD
You might want to look at the manual, usually with ebikes you can unlock a illegal 3rd power mode, mine you have to hold some button down and then it will go from 20mph to 30mph
Happy birthday JD!!🎉
Now THAT is a cool bike! No annoying 2-stroke screaming away with no exhaust pipe, good fat tyres with chunky bits on to grip and move you in the slush, what looks to be a good solid frame, disc brakes for all the stopping power, decent amount of torque and speed from the motor, good range, all the gizmos like lights and speedo and even a brake light AND it will take pillion passengers as well - what more could you ask for in a bike?
Awesome rig, mate. Love the quick release hubs too - great for swapping over to a set of wheels with road (aka: cruising) tyres on. Trust me - knobbly tyres are not fun at 20mph on a tar-sealed surface and trying to get a pedal-only bike to go faster than that with them on is damn near impossible anyway.....not that I wanted to because all my fillings were being shaken out of my skull. Solution: one set of wheels with road tyres and one set with off-road tyres and all with quick-release hubs, so it was the proverbial piece of p-......er......cake to swap them over when I needed to.
Speaking of cake, Happy Birthday, JD. All the best for your teenage years, young fella me lad......or should I be saying all the best to Dalton for JD's teenage years?! Haha! Having raised two myself (the youngest turned 19 last November), I'm leaning more to the latter, but with the easy-going teamwork you blokes have and the confidence and obvious nouse that JD has, coupled with your coaching style, Dalton, I reckon you've got a good shot at missing a lot of the "fun stuff" some of us parents get to....er....endure. JD - hope your birthday brings some good surprises and a lot of fun - and just remember that your Dad has been a teenager as well, so don't think he wont notice something explode or spontaneously burst into flames without knowing who is behind it happening.....although it will probably be him that teaches you how to do it properly!
All the best - to both of you!
Happy birthday JD. I have a Himiway cruiser. 7,000 miles so far. You will love it.
That is very cool. I hope he enjoys it for many years. A good kid for sure.
Happy birthday JD! When the snow gets deeper you can air down the tires to like 3 psi and plow through it. Fat bikes are fun!
Happy birthday JD and happy new years guys.
Awesome that Himiway would do that for JD. Well deserved. Happy Birthday!
Very cool! I've been thinking about picking something like this up. My mom had a similar bike when she was tending a state park in Alaska and it came in very useful for getting around
JD is gonna have fuuuun with that.
Bought one in 2022 to commute to work and back. Sadly, i was hit by a car in September, and it bent the frame out. Similar to this one, it ran a 48V system, but i upgraded to dual battery for longer range. Had a top speed of 35 mph and a throttle-only range of 50 miles.
Electric torque is a thing of beauty.
Happy birthday plus New Year J.D.
Oh man this thing is cool. JD deserves something like this, you know he's the kind of kid who won't leave it out in the rain or intentionally trash it. Unintentional shenanigans maybe. But please man, make sure he wears a helmet. I took a few spills on a whizzer gasoline bike my Dad and I built when I was a teenager, if I wasn't wearing a helmet, well... That thing was a lot faster than this bike, wouldn't go through mud like this but it was built for the street. It was also a complete pile of trash built out of a mountain bike by a dumpster and a ebay engine kit.
Hey there's an idea, find a trash bicycle and an ebay bicycle engine kit, you and JD can build it. I had a lot of fun building mine with my Dad.
thank you for making kids excited about bikes again
Good little gadget for a kid or anyone who wants to ride around the homestead
Despite happily working on cars, replacing head gaskets, completing major engine overhauls, etc….push bikes filled me with a sense of dread. In recent years, I have started maintaining my own push bike. I recommend getting a chain link removal tool, cone spanners a spoke tool and a cassette removal tool. With brand new bikes, I tend to strip the front and rear bearings down, they never come with much grease from the supplier, so packing in a little extra is a sound move. They’re more susceptible water ingress than a cars wheel bearing (tapered and cased). Extra grease helps protect the bearing balls. Tightening is a weird one, I tend to tighten the cones so there is a millimetre of play (0.03/4 of an inch) when placing the wheel back into the frame, the skewer seems to provide the final tightening of the cones removing all play but leaving the wheel to spin, freely.
Happy Birthday JD🎉
I have had the same bike for two years. It has been almost flawless.
Learn to use the peddles.
Shift only when peddling and run it like a 7 speed car.
The speed settings on the left side buttons are top speed settings.
Not launch power.
Congrats Jd. Those bikes ain’t cheap.
A much better look than the Insta image of it. It is huge! It looks like so much fun.
JD, please wear a helmet. (I have messaged your Dad about you getting one. Get back to me, pal.) You are so lucky to have the exposure to get cool gifts like that and an awesome place to ride it. My inner child is insanely jealous of you. You work hard though, so you deserve to work equally hard. Stay safe!
Neil :-)
I'm loving that Pontiac in the background lol reminds me of my 71 GTO JUDGE CONVERTIBLE I had back in 85
Happy Birthday JD!
Congrats and happy birthday, JD!
Imagine if we would of had those growing up. It would have made that up hill both ways walk to the outhouse more bearable lol. Happy belated bday!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY J.D.!!!! I'm making my list and checking it twice ... watch for a package from me sometime in the next month!
Happy birthday JD, tear it up on that thing
These kind of bikes are pretty handy with the racks with bungee cords to bike to get beer. You can actually pedal them and get some exercise.
Great present DJ!
1:52 i was thinking it would be handy to take on test drives for when it all goes sideways you have a way to go get tools and parts
Happy Birthday JD!! Enjoy that awesome bike!
We rode those bikes along the boardwalk when we were in California, I’m 6’2” 235 pounds and we were going almost 35 MPH on smooth concrete paths when I realized that if I crash with no helmet on concrete I’m going to get really hurt 😂 cool present, keep us updated on how it works out on the next few months
Such a great kid and you’re a great dad.
HBD JD!!!! Enjoy your new bike and keep your dad away from it so you'll have it in good working order for a long time. LOL. Be safe!
J D is going to love that bike. Have fun and Happy Birthday.
They come locked from the factory. Look in the instructions and you can unlock more speed. Usually it's limited at 20mph but they are capable of much more like 30 plus.
Happy birthday JD
Happy Birthday JD !!! wish you all the best
JD is so amazingly talented. Great guy
Happy Birthday JD! that's such an awesome bike!
Very cool! Happy birthday early JD!
Very cool Birthday present!!!
Happy bday JD! Awesome ride, enjoy!
Happy birthday little dude!🎉
LOL! Boy gets bike, Dad rides! How typical - so nice to see you guys. Happy New Year!
Cool bike JD. Happy birthday young man. 🎉
That thing has a pretty good headlight! Happy Birthday JD!
That thing is wicked
Happy b day kid. Thanks for the content.
That's cool.
We're only allowed pedal assist bikes in the UK.
Full electric technically qualifies as a moped here, so they need number plates and stuff
🎉 Nice! Happy Birthday
Cool bike, Happy Birthday JD.
E-bikes are getting so good now. It looks like that’s a mid drive one, so the gear shift (right hand side) will be the torque and speed adjustment. Just lift off the power when changing gears 👍
Happy Birthday JD. You are Such a Cool Kid
Happy New Year.
Really enjoy the outside the barn videos
Early Happy Birthday JD and Happy New Year to both of you!
Congratulations JD ! Keep making memories with ur dad! I miss my dad time

Thanks for another , Brother !
Happy birthday JD🎉
That’s pretty cool, JD will enjoy it.
What an awesome birthday!
If I could find a way to attach a carrier of some sort to hold the hot bags I'd use one of these for DoorDashing in mild weather. Hardly ever get over 35-40mph in town so might as well get infinite mpg by not burning gas when it isn't too cold or too wet or too hot out there. I wouldn't want to sell myself short by not being able to do the larger orders, and I do a lot of pizza deliveries for them so I'd have to be able to lay the bag down flat for those. Maybe 22 inches square, about 16 inches high would be plenty and then have a lid I can close, or leave open if I need to stack multiple hot bags. Maybe make a gyro plate for it to sit on like the gymbal stabilizer thing some people use for making smooth video. Keep those pizzas floating so the toppings don't end up all on one side of the box. By the time I'd perfect the setup I'll be too old to ride LMAO...
Awesome sauce that's killer happy early bday
way cool guys. need to look into one of those.
