Back in the 90's my first job was working at Ridge Tool. On the wrench line they would swap out the stamps for name plates and run off Ridge, Craftsman, ACE True Value, and about a dozen other name brands. All the same stock, same heat treat, same everything.
Yes but they were usa made this is not the same especially when Taiwan Japan and Germany also make much much better quality tools. Temu steals your personal data and sells it so enjoy getting hacked and scammed if you buy from china
Honestly if anyone else tried to sell me these products I’d tell them to pound sand, but after the years of watching PBG and the honest reviews of products in that time I’m seriously considering buying these products.
Ive used the temu ratchet wrenches and impact set. 6/10 great for around the house but not snap on quality. I still love them though and havent had one break yet under light use
Chinesium has it's place. I've been using Temu's higher end (I still cant say that without chucklin'..heh heh) tools around the house. Their flashlights are easily as good as anything you'll get on Amazon or the Bay....and they always give good sized coupons after buying some stuff to offset future buys too. I like those wrenches, just ordered a set, thanks Dalton!
So true, my father worked on Submarines and would always buy cheap tools at the flea markets because he said they would get left/lost on the subs. I’m sure some of his Chinesium tools are still out there on those boats. RIP Pop.
Your comment about changing pants made me laugh and remember my early days as a mechanic. I had to wait to get uniforms for 30 days per company policy for new hires. In that time I bought 4 pairs of the cheapest jeans I could find. At the end of each week, those jeans were so crud soaked and covered that they walked themselves to the burn pit and self ignited...Well almost!!!!!😂 I was so happy when I finally got my shop uniforms!
Just an old tip from my Dad, Batteries, when they start to get weak, drop a single aspirin into each cell, put it on a trickle charge and most of the time it will live on for a long time. All you need is uncoated regular dose aspirin, I think 125Mg. Generic are fine, can get a cheap bottle from a Dollar General. If you like to test results, give that a shot. If the battery has a completely dead cell or internal short this will not help. Love your videos, hope the tip helps you out.
My kid lost my 10mm name-brand ratchet wrench (same brand as your name-brand ratchet wrench, I thibk) so I ordered a generic replacement one off Temu. And... i got the brand name one, only 90 teeth instead of 72. So, the "pro" model. And for 1/10th the price. If this is a bootleg, it's a really good one.
i have one of their pulsing chargers i also have a mower battery for the last 3 years i have to jump it every week to start i put that on it and it charged it i left it sit for 2 weeks and it still had like 12 volts in it great product works well
I've bought several things and so far most have been decent. The thing I like the most is out of every order you can make a return of one or more item and get a credit or you money back without having to actually retuning them . They say keep it and donate or whatever you care to do with the "returns" that on every order
I have the ratchet wrench set that’s in the cloth thing. I had a 13mm with a 7/8 locked into it for extra leverage and it didn’t slip. So yeah, I like em.
Yeah the flashlight's worth it just because it has a rechargeable battery there's more than $4 in rechargeable batteries right there you charge it five times and you've doubled your
Good afternoon from Cape Cod 🦈 I'm a firm believer in quality tools but I was stuck and stopped at harbor freight and bought an open box and set of wrenches the 7 bucks, I've used these wrenches for the past 18 years and not one of them has failed. Considering you know tools I would say I trust your judgment on these cheap tools. You should have been wearing your Hawaiian shirt to go with those stylish glasses 🤓
Never trust a person telling you how good something when they getting paid to do so but you do you. I’ve bought lots of stuff off Temu the last few years. I was under no illusion as to what I was as getting. Cheap and not very good quality. Almost everything I’ve bought has been exactly that. Cheap and poor quality.
@@Robrt32 You get what you pay for, right? And at the same time you get to support the Chinese economy. They already have all of our jobs, why not buy their products as well?
Awsome video! I watched this video last saturday and actually got the ratchet wrenches from Temu. I picked up the metric ones and holy crap they are actually built real well. took a week to get here.
always use a braker bar to loosen nuts, a was once given a torque wrench... it was used as a braker bar, it only had one tooth 🤧 1000 tools that all look the same, so they swipe them from each other all the time.
Gotta say I'm in New Zealand and we get scalped on tools, there's so little competition in our little 5 million population country..... it's painful what we have to pay..... anyhow, I have dropped a couple thousand on Temu products over the last couple of months..... I'm getting stuff that was previously pipe dream stuff..... nice to have not need to have stuff....... they ship really efficiently and I haven't gotten a single thing I've been pissed off woth..... overall it's really been quite amazing.......
"Heart Piercing" screwdrivers, but hey, they got the metal ends on them. If those go all the way through, I can really take a stab at the heart of my problems, piercing the issues directly!
11:52 "but it makes me happy to see them like this" stop right there, we know just what you mean, and now I must go. I have little time to attach all my $1.49 Hazard Fraught magnetic tool racks to my pegboards to hold all the wonderful Temu purchases that will be arriving in 4 to 6 business weeks!
Yeah I'm not sure how well cheap chinesium tools will hold up for doing it professionally I'm a Diesel Mechanic working on those trucks I'm not sure if they'll hold up as well
I'm not going to say anything bad about the products on Temu but I will say be careful what pay method you use to pay for whatever products you're buying Temu has been known to have problems with People's credit and Bank information being stolen it might be better off just to get a prepaid credit card to pay for this stuff.
Those door lock knobs are worth the $200 alone because I recently discovered that they are rare and unavailable it seems if you stumble into any big name part store thinking the help section has your back lol
The very first time I ordered from Temu it was something my daughter wanted and I totally thought it was a scam. About two weeks go by and my item got tied up in customs. Temu refunded my money almost instantly and when the product arrived I kept it because that's what they told me to do. I've ordered several items since then & currently waiting for two more orders now. My next order is probably going to be the key fob programmer so I can program key fobs in GM vehicles. guess I can use your code now, Thanks.
@outsidethebarn i wish they gave more details. They show the same paint gun at 3 different price points.. no clue what the difference is.. then they have other versions and styles..
I got a set of reversible ratchet wrenches, not even a year of occasional driveway use and an engine build, the ones I use the most are starting to reverse the direction by themselves randomly.
No one gonna mention the magnet tray advertisement has full sized pliers on it, then it arrives and would only fit a few sockets at max 😂😂😂😂 Fucken temu 💀
How often does one change their pants is the real question? Temu tools work great for those of us who are cheap, and want something even cheaper then harbor freight
It's interesting what you can get for your money. I don't have a problem with over seas products. I mean every one loves their phone and None of them are made in the USA . iPhone is made in China
Appreciate the reviews. Unfortunately I’m a major player on the TEMU app so, none of your discounts work for me. I sure would like to know how to $200 worth of stuff to review though!!
Dalton the flashlight has a small battery but so easy to solder in a 18650 in as its got space inside and it lasts ages on a charge ( also charges if you use a 20w brick ) I've got loads of throw away Chinese tools that have lasted since the start of websites like dhgate... but you will get people telling you not to buy via temu bla bla bla....I even had someone the other day telling me I'm part the Chinese invasion because I drive a new MG Xpower EV! I wonder what they would say about my 1966 Mustang with the Japanese V8 In it....
Wow, the testing has me sold. The way the screwdrivers went into that rack was awesome. The testing on those ratcheting spanners was impressive as well. Not that i have had issues with back pressure normally its when tighten and loosen fittings. Oh and de sulphating a battery is done by momentarily applying high voltage not pulsed voltage. Go Temu.
So happy I watched this just as I was making my list for tomorrow’s visit to Harbor Freight. I’ll gladly pay a fraction and wait a few days to have it shipped to my house.
