Hi The History Digger! Great video, especially since I am just starting out in metal detecting!😎 I just subscribed to your channel! Nice Video Content!
Very informative video, great job! It kept my attention the entire video. I had another tab open in the browser and made purchases of the many items you mentioned; and toggled your video for reference. Now I'm hoping to find a Rolex to recoup my additional expenses, lol. Actually, the items you mentioned weren't expensive at all, thanks for the guidance. The one "nice to have" item you didn't have (which is helpful for me) was the "Jewelers Loupe". Thank you
New subscriber, I have had an interest in metal detecting and have researched different metal detectors in the last year. Could you reccommend a brand and model for a beginer? Really appreciate this video and the different options you mentioned, could you explain a little more about single or multi frequency machines and the pros and cons.
Nokta Makro makes very good beginner and intermediate detectors. Take a look at the Simplex Ultra (single frequency) and Legend (multi frequency). Single frequency machines only emit one frequency at a time whereas multi frequency deploys a blend of frequencies. Some frequencies are a bit deeper while others react better on certain types of metals and very mineralized soils or beaches. You increase your chances with multi frequency but they are more expensive.
