No need to justify working on the Jimny. It is the TeamArmyTrucks Staff Car and it's army green so it counts. Your tutorials are always so well done you make these projects look easy, but you can't help that! Keep up the great work and keep the content coming.
All of your videos and work are of very high quality. I often skip videos from other channels that I am subscribed to if they do not look interesting or I am too busy, but I always make sure to watch yours! Seeing that little Jimny bouncing around in the field sure makes me wish we had them here in Canada.
Thanks for the great video. I intend to do the same with my Jimny, so it was really great to see what you did before I get started. Really appreciate you making this available
I have a 2007 3 Rd gen jimny I up graded my head unit and put in a 1100 watt amp with 5 speakers including a large sub woofer in boot...the sound and quality is out of this world. Put it in 11 years ago.
Thanks a lot for your excellent detailed video and the 3D files, I will tacle this job in the upcoming month using the exact same JBL references on my Jimny. Sometimes internet is filed with great people too 👍🏻
good video, nice install, the stick on insulation works pretty decent, i did some in one of my old Volvo 242 GLT it made it noticeable enough for a passenger to comment, so it paid for itself right there, my current 1989 240DL had no radio so i put in a full Alpine system and remote start for these Manitoba winters,-30 to -35 is regular here so its nice to get in a warm car, then there was no money left for the Subwoofer, I sold lots of the Suzuki/Chevy Tracker in the 90's, they had the same 4WD as your Jimny does and were stout reliable and did a freaking good job in the winter to start and had awesome heaters in them you didn't need heated seats, I always took one as a demo in the winter, your 4wheeling at the end was cool, and that Subwoofer will never move on you, you will have trouble removing it that velcro is so strong 😂 always good videos, I have been in a newer MOG,I knew a German guy who was the supply sergeant for the base in Manitoba back in the99/2000 and they took me for a ride in the one on the base, it was noisy and a blast to have fun in, it went anywhere they pointed it, we laughed our asses off then went for supper 💯
So I did upgrade my sound systems too. But after a week I end up adding isolation to the whole body, I even cut the roof and make it 3 inches higher for additional head room. I love my roof upgrade (Jimny has really thin roofing so adding a few inches adds the looks a lot better.❤
Excellent work and good info. Got myself a new jimny 5 door version in India. Your clear explanation was really helpful and informative. Thank you. Great stuff. 😊
2 way system with tweeters on the dashboard would have been nice... I did a lot conversions wirh JBL. It's really good stuff. Also good brands are Kenwood and Hertz for example. For subwwofers i went another way, i used Visaton GF 200 and simular chassis, replaced the cardboard in the trunk by a wooden one and placed the sub in the spare wheel compartment. In some vehicules i had to turn the spare wheel upside down to make spare for the sub. Always worked great. As a test sample of music i recommend Insomia's "can't get no sleep", it offers extremely deep bass sound.
Faithless' song Insomnia (I can't get no sleep) is a real classic. If only they'd made a really long version. Boris Brejcha could probably stretch it out to 15 minutes without it getting boring.
I also have a Jimny. I got the same speakers for the front and back. It was much better than the original system. I also have the Jimny HJ with the much worse radio. After a few weeks I took everything out again and installed a Sony XAV-AX4050 head unit and speakers with amplifiers from Helix for almost €3000. Unfortunately, I then fell for the hi-fi virus😂
When you say splice the cables from the back speakers, does that mean that those cables are split so they go both to the subwoofer and the back speakers (should one want to install them) or do they now only go to the subwoofer?
I wanted to ask did u just changed the tires on the company fitted rims or u got the suspensions and shocks too.. and oh yes your video was awesome God bless u bro! im a new jimmy owner and also a music person myself and im trying to find some setups for my mini rawr! and came across your video! so yeah thanks for this detailed clip
Great video. Very well detailed so it's fool proof (me) 😅 Just wondering, what roof rack is that? It's perfect and I would like something just like it for mine. Thanks.
this is for a city jimny, because if it is for offroad and water gets into the car most likely that makes short at the first moment that water enters the car ... would have been more interesting and functional a video where it is placed somewhere where even when water gets into the car does not get wet and does not make short .... that if would have been interesting, but a common connection of a common car in a jimny is not functional .....
I have concern about the crash safety of the Suzuki automobile. I witnessed a terrible accident involving a Suzuki and it failed in ways no vehicle should. Please be safe.

Never see such high quality work for installion of music system. amazing
Thanks a lot! :)

Always a pleasure to watch quality workmanship! Thanks.

i love you. i genuinely love you. this is by far the best video in the internet
A lovely, neat, quality installation. Well done. A great video as well.

Great explanatory video, thank you!
A great job as always! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for this, I will soon have to copy you for a sound upgrade.
thank you for such a detailed video. I'm going to very much reproduce this setup. Much appreciated
Your all videos is very useful 🙂

I was considering the 2-way, with separate tweeters. But ultimately i wanted things hidden, and didn't want them on my dash :)
Faithless' song Insomnia (I can't get no sleep) is a real classic. If only they'd made a really long version. Boris Brejcha could probably stretch it out to 15 minutes without it getting boring.
Is a clean installation. Congratulations
Incredibly useful video! Thanks!
Nice work
thank you very much for the 3D files, did you disconnect the batterie before installing the sub ?
Amazing video, can you share with us the drawing of sounds door adaptation? I will try to print this too in 3D
Thank you!
and yes, it's already done. the link is in the description :)
I was planning to build something like that underseat subwoofer, now I know that I can just buy it.
I also have a Jimny. I got the same speakers for the front and back. It was much better than the original system. I also have the Jimny HJ with the much worse radio. And yes, so far i have only changed the tires. no lift-kit yet.
ha I'm just sitting with a black Faxe beer and watching your video greetings to Denmark😁🍻
Cheers :)
I saw the whole video. Thank you so much 😘
Heavy hard-core music
*Plays Taylor Swift 😂
Amazing.
Excellent 👍🏻 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great video. Where did you get the threaded metal clips for mounting the speaker adapter ring?
They are just standard threaded metal clips. You should be able to get them, at most automotive/hardware stores :)
Very informative video. Could you pls provide me link to purchase the speaker spacer which are out of stocks.
Time for a winch front and rear yes
Great video. Very well detailed so it's fool proof (me) 😅

Thanks.
Thanks!
The roof rack is one that i built myself.

Fed vogn! 👍
Those speaker connectors are cheap for a pair normally
Put a lift kit in it that will take the rough bounce out of it
What size for seat bolt?
Nice 👍
Godkendt:)

It is without a doubt, the safest vehicle i have :)
What does that have to do with the video?
Not the worst install ever.
But not great work either.
Off road vehicle mein audio nhi...... performance ki modification honi chahiye
Lovely work as always. Thank you for sharing.
