Cool video! Blue demonstrated the concept of "war" in catan. Until 5 points in settlements or buildings, anyone fighting for army can choose to entirely destroy the other player building army. You had the advantage and more knights, he clearly was going to war against you, meaning his entire game was just buying devs to block you (even if he didn't steal from you that one time). And you just let him go by blocking red and black 3-4 times instead of taking him down. He thought his win condition was taking you down, but if that was the case, then your win condition was taking him down. I remember playing against a top 10 player who did the same thing, declared war tho I had more knights (blocked me twice though I was slightly behind, and someone was obviously better). So I invested all I had to just destroy his ability to buy devs. He kept being stubborn and kept trying to fight me so all I did all game was block him on his critical resources, continuously.I won the game while he still only had 2 settlements. Other people at the table were like "omg, I've never seen someone so blocked". But unfortunately that's what u gotta do with these stupid players. Obviously it'd be ideal to not risk your game and block whoever's ahead, but in situations like this it's you or him. Until the idiot stopped buying devs you shoulda just kept on robbing and blocking him and only him.
I was rooting for black to get that initial road and win it. I had a somewhat similar setup the other day and was able to make the trades to avoid getting plowed.
The whole "you talk too much" being a bad thing in online Catan just disgusts me so much. The entire point of this game is to talk. Communication is more than 50% of the skill expression in this game and all it does nowadays is put a target on your back.
consider blocking the 5 brick early on, hurts red/blue the most until one of them gets the 10 brick and give you the best brick in the game while it's blocked
Bruh. You got hit with all the bad luck possible. Sure there were some things you could have done differently but the robber and dice locked you out most the time.
Number diversity kind of killed your game, that and zero 11s. I think the 8-4-3 would have been a better start, but what was blue doing with the road to the desert, your just going to was wood for an extra road on a low wood board to begin with?
OH EM GEEEE!!!!! That game was suyper annoying for you - that joy1011 person dwid NOT deserve to win that all. Saying that, means to an end was clearly the strategy. To whatever works at the time with rando moves.
Such a brain dead comment. You have no idea what his financial situation is, and he uses his computer to make content for people like you to enjoy and it probably costs him money at this point in time to do so. So instead of being a dick for no reason you could simply… not donate, he’s not forcing anyone dude just let the man be and let those of us who want to/have the means to support him support him
honestly keep the chat with one line msgs and not multiple ones... too many can be annoying and comes across as manipulative to others who are also trying to win the game.... and u were clearly targetted because of it.... hard luck on the rolls early on though
This is why prefer irl over online catan. Communication is a cornerstone of the game but it just gets you targeted online.

Would love daily 1v1 uploads. You’re on the top of my watch list on TH-cam

Make sure you get a decent PC ;)
I broke my computer 2 years ago, ya know what I did? I saved up my own money to get a new one, I guess charity works too, you do you.
Who cares lmao. So petty for no reason
Computers aren't that expensive
You can get decent ones for well under $1K
@rickybobby1682 Man really woke up to write the most dead end comment in existence
@@DanielSong39 you kinda just proved my point here, why does he need a charity if it’s not that expensive lmao
