For stone, the color of the stone shows if you're able to mine/use it. Dark gray = maxed out Red = iron/resource Light gray = able to mine stone. Which saying this i think you have one more stone available in the center one, that is facing the forest to the north of the island. It could be a visual glitch however. Not certain. Also archers can't shoot from transport ships what so ever. You'd need a mod for that sadly.
when the AI asks for help your units need to do dmg to vikings for that i recomend clicking on the unit and click on the square that says "attack any enemy on the island" your archers are grounded on the same place and if vikings dont pass close enougth u wont give any help

A good way to house peasants is the poortown / slums way, where you just cram people into hovels, build some random farms and if you're feeling nice maybe adding a clinic

its already too late, he should shut down the masons, get 5-20 ballistas, cover his stone towers with wooden walls (start using wooden walls) especially those getting hurt by passing viking catapults and rely on merchants and well, save up stone just for building happiness type buildings
Baron you should make a giant hall that leads into the kingdom and line the sides with archers and towers and everything u can. It would be the tunnel of death that enemies would have to walk through to get in.
Baron, I also recommend using neocolonialism against queen lysene so that you only have to deal with one empire with your military at a time. First, you may persuade her to be friends with you while you attack Halsback. You could also send traders to her and sell your charcoal and wood to her but keeping a tight trade quota against her strongest trading material to slow down her economic output. Once that the vikings have attacked her and her military is decimated, if you still have that small army in her land, you could use that to destroy her kingdom whilst the vikings distract her.

In order for your strategy to work you will need to remove all land outside of the walls. The vikings can't land on a place occupied by a wall, which is why they are landing on that one specific area outside your walls. P.S. From my perspective, I think the kingdom might survive until 500 years if you invade Halsback and Lysene. You could be still be friends (or something more) with queen Witmeyer. I think Halsback and Lysene have stone and that will supply your walls with infinite amounts of defense.
He could actually make good use of the resources of the two kingdoms and then he could afford to defend Queen Witmeyer until the waves become overpowering and he’s forced to consolidate all resources into defending whatever he has left. Would probably be a good strategy considering the two kingdoms are pretty hostile to him
You should make a dragon killing square with the dragon statue (Lord Nextrazlus in advanced town), which will make all dragons with a 20-block radius go to the location. Then, you could set up heavy ballistas around it which will kill the dragon(s).

1: ai doesn't build ballistas 2: save up allot of stone by buying it from merchants and then build piers all around the kingdom and place walls on em then the vikings can't land (obv don't infront of ur sea gate) you can then force em to land in any place u want. This project would prob take multiple episodes

What would it be like if this game had weather like lightning storm could burn wooden structures and tsunami could swipe your land ans you would have to build tsunami walls so it not as dangerous, and meteors that hit randomly and can kill anyone

Ai builds ballistas, I’ve had assaulting parties vaporized by ballistas targeting my siege weapons
