Also, it’s just really impactful because Jin has never been this brutal up until this point. It’s kind of terrifying when you just brutally slaughter him. It really shows how he’s had enough. This game is great

I've found that to be an interesting little bit of detail as well. If I remember right, Mongol armor was actually one of the obstacles the samurai had to overcome when facing them. As for Jin's armor, a part of me thinks artistic liberties were taken as they usually are in games.
I think the armour in the first part of the game represented the Kamakura period which saw the introduction of samurai. After that it does seem closer to Sengoku era armour.
I just completed this part rn, and Holy fu..... this part was so good. This game just keeps getting better and better. Probably the best game I've played this year
I tried to be cautious about fights, to not get destroyed, until this battle where i ran like a demon to the trebuchets an back to the town, mowing down ennemies on the way. Epic mission

Have you ever noticed the animations as you cut mongols down during ghost stance? They're brutal. The first one tries to stop Jin's blade with his bare hands, emphasis on "tries".
My only real complaint with this game is how they make the Mongolians look like chumps as you slaughter them by the dozens. The Golden Horde was NO JOKE. They conquered everyone they set their sights on. While Japan indeed fought them off initially, the main reason they were spared was due to repeated Typhoons sinking the Mongolian ships. (The divine winds! lol)
I think majority of this game happened in a dream, after Jin and his uncle dead died on the beach, yes, I think Jin dead at the start of the game, he got shot several times on his back, I don’t think anyone can make it, and it also shows Khotun beheaded his uncle on the beach.
Acesahn In real history, Mongol gained total control of Tsushima. All the force that clashed with Mongol on the beach got slaughtered, none survived. I feel the game is the redemption of Jin’s soul about his guilt on he inability to save his father, thus the name Ghost of Tsushima,
Went in with 1 resolve and 85% health. Took me a couple tries. I just realized while watching this..I was using the wrong stance 🤦🏽♂️ I was using the stone stance. Wish I can reply it again. I should’ve saved a slot before the duel.

I know Temuge is not has cool as Khotun Khan, but. I do wish to see the more of him being a side villain, maybe him talking to the traitor or speak to Khotun Khan about the Mongol plans
At first I was being dumb and kept trying to jump kick but he eventually adapts and moves out of the way so this boss fight is actually just dodge until he has a normal sword then chop him up

The Japanese has really traditional armors because of lack of hard irons in Japan. Other countries at the same era already has heavy armors while Japan rarely have it.

I mean yeah Jin has been killing Mongols a lot up to this point but when you consider he HAD been showing restraint up until this point... In the end gone was the form of Jin Sakai burned away in the flames of vengeance and from his ashes The Ghost was born

It was a beautiful game, but i dont get why Temuge is portrayed without a story attached? After all, he was Temujins brother, but he was executed in 1246, 28 years before the first Mongol invasion of Japan. I kinda hoped they would use more realistic events based off reality, instead of making up fictional characters such as Khotun, who doesnt really represent anyone. They based some of his looks of Kublai, but its clear that he isnt Kublai. He could be Kublais brother Ariq, but that doesnt make sense either, they were in war and Ariq was captured by his brother after a long war between them.

Probably the best part of the game
This boss fight was sooo Easy for me, poor guy did'nt have a single chance,with 4 lvl Gosaku armor i took him down very easily.
