This dress is perfect omg! I had an old dress that I loved and I recycled it into a doll dress using this! Only difference is I used regular threat and did buttons on the top

When you were winding the elastic thread around the bobbin, were you stretching it out as you were wrapping it or did you just wrap it "normally"? Thanks in advance. Love your vids...you are inspiring me to drag out my sewing machine and sew clothes for my dolls.
Cat Craft I didn't stretch the elastic thread when winding the bobbin, but it was still not loose. So sorta in the middle of the 2. I hope I make some sense😂

Very cute ..do you use a different foot for the elastic or is it just the regular A or B straight stitch foot ?
. I have a brother with quite a few stitches. But sometimes you have to use a different foot with different types of thread, Or material.
Also I want to make a dress with accessories out of some beautiful metalic pink oil cloth. Would you recommend using a vinyl foot on oil cloth ? It has a white loosly woven back,should I use stabilizer when I sew with this fabric or would you recommend a no sew glue ? New subscriber thank you
