    The Big Foot steps foot into the DonnyFL HQ. Our guys explain how to set up this amazing machine and goes over what you'll need to maintain it.
    ABOUT US!!
    DonnyFL manufactures the ultimate airgun suppressors, renowned for their high-end craftsmanship and effectiveness. Created by expert shooting enthusiast and Saber Tactical co-owner, Donny Du, the brand prides itself on “making silence a priority” for everyone from the backyard hobby beginner to the competition shooter. Expect in-depth product knowledge and topnotch customer service along with superb quality and reliability.
    DONNY'S STORY!!
    “I was first introduced to the PCP world in 2014. After a 7-month wait, I finally got my first Edgun Matador .25 R3M. The wait was brutal, but it gave me a chance to get to know a lot of people in this hobby. When the gun arrived, it was beautiful...but it was also loud. That led me on a journey to where I am today. I've spent a lot of time and money testing different materials inside and out to make the guns backyard friendly. My first version was made out of PVC - stuffed with kitchen liners!
    Today I strive to do the best for the industry. Not only for suppressing your high-end air rifles, but also providing you with excellent customer satisfaction. I understand the importance of quality and will never sacrifice it over sales. My goal is not just to sell you an awesome air gun suppressor, but to also build a friendship.
    I've communicated with many of you, and I'm always interested to hear your stories. I am very grateful for and driven by the reviews, feedback and testimonials that I've seen on various forums. Big thank you to my family for supporting me and being my guinea pigs when I asked them to come outside and listen to my shots while testing the products (you are not done being guinea pigs!).
    “All of my work started with referrals - that makes this whole experience more worthwhile.” - Donny Du

    The extra switch is to activate the solenoid to relieve pressure/moisture when the setpoint is reached. always turn that ON. and... desiccant..not incandescent ( like a light bulb) ...no worries though... we understand.

    Use SECO 500 compressor oil. It's made for the higher compression compressors and won't coke. It's also breathing air (SCUBA/SCBA) safe.

    This doesn't have anything to do with the video, but I wanted to leave you this message. I recently bought a taipan veteran short from Utah Airguns and the guy suggested a hugget moderator with it, but I actually called Utah Airguns back and changed my order because I wanted a DonnyFL silencer! I'm sure the hugget is good, and I've heard a lot of good things about them, but I have experience with your brand, and for me, silence is a priority! Ha! ...so I changed my order and got a FX donnyfl silencer instead of the hugget! I would have got the sumo, but they were out of stock on that one, & from my experience the fx version does a great job in my urban setting! This is my fourth donnyfl I've bought, all FX versions, and I am very impressed with the difference they make with quieting down the report of the rifle! Keep up the good work guys! ...& Merry Christmas! 🎄✌️

    How does' the aluminum flakes get out of the compressor?

  • @tonytowhitch
    @tonytowhitch ปีที่แล้ว +1

    coolant additive removes the water tension to make water to cool more efficiently and the other thing Izzy said. Makes water wetter LOL

    • @jdog4534
      @jdog4534 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There's a product used in agriculture called surfactant. It's added to weed killer to that water wetter so it is better absorbed by the weeds. A little bit of dawn dish soap would do it too

    I got a Big Foot Compressor and that third switch controls the auto bleed system behind the desiccant tube. I auto comes on when the compressor is run for a while.

    How much royal purple compressor oil is needed? Is 1 quart enough, also royal purple ice says 2oz per quart of water, you said 2oz per gallon, is 2oz per gallon good or go with 8oz?

    I think I'm going to pick one of these up next week. Question: have you guys tried any Amsoil products with this compressor?

      Running that generic asian compressor of mine off Amsoil Dominator 2T synthetic.

    33:20 Question. On another filter by a different company, it says to not mount the filter to the compressor. The media in it will break apart from the vibration of the unit and could potentially cause a failure. Is that not an issue on this one?

    • @jhareng
      @jhareng ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I bought a large about a foot long unbranded for another shoe box compressor and still used the supplied shorty, it still let water through. Have put it inline after the supply line on to the Fosters then a shorty like his red one after.
      The red shorty he junked did come with mine, threads are M10X1 not NPT or 1/8"BSP, look very similar.

      @jhareng I like the idea of filtering out the intake air the way they do on this. It's not pressurized, so anything that can contain air drying media should work..

      @toxicmatrix1337 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@jdog4534 i used one and it destroyed my unit. The air flow was incredibly limited, it felt like the unit was struggling to supply itself. The company that makes these, told me people remove filters to make the unit run better. Air Venturi is the biggest sham of a company. They are 💩💩💩💩💩

    i Have to say that's a stupid way to run a cooling system the heat from one head is going to the other head then to the Heat exchanger (Radiator) i would want both heads to get cool water not making one cylinder run off of the first cylinders heated water. would be easy to plumb that the right way even easier to upgrade both the way the hoses run as well as put a better heat exchanger on there. install aluminum or copper tubing larger in diameter with cooling fins on it like a baseboard heater. just to give an image or idea if you know what i mean

    • @jdog4534
      @jdog4534 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Only one head gets really hot. But I'm with you anyway. I run a pump to each head and tie them together right before they run up the little cooling tower I made out of exactly the guts of an old baseboard heater. I run it in the vertical position and cap the top end off with a Gatorade bottle so it trickles down all those aluminum fins on its way back to the bucket.. ..I'm thinking about laying it down in a section of pvc rain gutter a couple feet over the bucket and letting the water exchange heat against all the aluminum fins as the heat will radiate up and not be absorbed by any other water. I used to just hold the discharge hoses a couple feet above the bucket, without any heat exchanger and the falling of the water in open air was enough to keep the temp well below critical throughout the whole filling of full size scuba tanks and 45 min scba tanks
