I literally went to a harder portion of the game earlier than planned cause I didn't realize you could jump over that rope in the starting area... Thank you for this haha.

MY GOD! I AM SO HAPPY YOU TURN OFF THE ENGLUSH DUB! I remember my ears bleeding on how BAD it was, lucky I had the Brady strategy guide (the internet was not that common on the time this game was released on the PS2 originally) and I changed it to japanese.
It's funny, I own both this and Final Fantasy X on PS2 and PC. The PS2 version of this game is way better than the PC version, and yet the opposite is true for Final Fantasy X. Wonder if they'll ever make a patch to import all the voice acting to the PC release? Probably too much work but hey, it's not impossible - look what they did with FF7 on PC
@@garretthintz4154 i played the psp version and honestly the game dont need a warp, the map is not that huge and you dont go back to any location if you explore it well
I tried to play this game but I couldn't, for some reason when Adol is walking on the grass an annoying "click, click, click" sound disturbs my ears! The same sound is not reproduced on other types of terrain.
Is this the PSP or the PC version of the game? Because I've only played the original PS2 version in English and I remember specifically Adol and all other characters having a full 3D model. What I'm seeing on this video is a 2d with a 3d like movement.
@@Ardnux I kinda figured... that explains a lot! Lol, I wish they would release this game on modern platforms already! Like a remastered editon with an option for original or new graphics. This game was good and had an amazing soundtrack.
@@gameoverdude2249 I initially planned to play PS2 but it feels rough and kind of different gameplay style from Ys OiF and Origin which was improved alot from Ark of Napishtim game engine. so i stuck with PC as it has higher texture quality and the game feels more natural and in-line with the two games i mentioned
It's a shame that the animé opening doesn't play automatically on the PS2 English version release, and instead, we have that ugly 3D animation playing. 😞

I'm playing the PSP Version but if I use the wings of Alam I only can escape a dungeon but no fast travel like you. What I'm doing wrong?
just like me lol, I also played the PSP version and can't use wings to teleport, can only be used to get out of the dungeon
