One of the best auto repair videos I've seen. My brake pad light just came on and I'm looking to do my brakes myself. I've changed brakes on all my cars (probably about a dozen) over the years. This will be my first time on my 2013 LR4. So glad I watched. Land Rover seems to be a bit different than any others I've changed. Thank you for your video. Very helpful! I'm planning on purchasing parts from Rock Auto. Any advice on brand name for the pads? Any thoughts on semi-metalic vs ceramic? I thought about ceramic on the front because I am getting a LOT of brake dust on my rims. Thoughts?

I get my stuff from fcpeuro.com. They have a lifetime warranty. Yes, wear sensor, rotors and pads. I change mine every year. If I need it or not. Only pay for return shipping. I buy the brake kit. " Pagid " pads, " Bowa " Wear sensor, and " Zimmermann" rotors. OEM Land rover pads are " Ferodo" or " jurid". I like " Pagid" or " TRW " . As far as Pads types. I like the semi- metallic ( the braking in better, more dust. but, damages the rotor more.). The ceramic pads ( less dust, does not stop as fast. But, does not damage the rotor as fast.) But, I get mine from FCPEuro.com. It is a free lifetime warranty.
