Round 5 was crazy. That's the kind of position it looks amazing once you get it and then a player like me doesn't know how to capitalize so I lash out impatiently, unsuccessfully most of the time
If you know how chess works, its the Magnus move that sealed the Draw. If he thinks he is winning why would he go for draw?. Not Just Hikaru, anyone would do the same inluding Magnus.
@@getwealthywithravi Hikaru didn’t leave Magnus with many options; he was the one on the offensive. He could have chosen a different continuation if he wanted to, but he forced a draw because he knew that taking a different path might lead to losing, and he would completely lose his chance to be first. However, knowing that he was ahead on tiebreaks, he deliberately steered the game towards a draw in the middlegame.

Ians defense in the last game was seriously impressive.
Pls upload Kramnik’s games. Thank you
Непомнящий в дебюте дважды темп потерял, но действовал как вертуоз в эндшпиле😂
Hikaru is truly a cunning player; he knew he was ahead on average, so he deliberately steered the game to a draw through move repetition.

It's Nakamura draw in round 10. Bro known something
how do they decide who gets first when they both ended with 10 points?
Tie breaks
High average rated opponents
For accuracy moves
Tie break score, the little number to the right of their score. Hikaru had 77.5 Magnus had 75.5
By school marks
Glad Jospem didn't use his engine for once but he needs to learn some respect and resign when he's lost.
When Jospem use engine to play chess??? What the heck are you talking about???
Yes, he showed poor judgement at the end of his game with Magnus.
