Every trick he does will remake you think your life. Like, you just want to hold the ground while this dude is so far out, so far tweaked, and you realize, 8 ft out on the most tweaked whatever it is he's doing that he's in the middle of setting up for something way gnarlier, but you already lost your biscuits in the middle of this trick and can't take much more.

Truth to the fact that skateboarding keeps you young because I’ve skated for 35 years and at the age of 45 I’m out performing everyone at work which is a physically demanding job and that’s after I learned how to walk again a few years ago. I haven’t aged like most of my friends my age. I’m a ball of energy sand still skating !!
I'm almost 47 and still going. Good on you for relearning to walk. I broke my back and pelvis a decade ago and it was long climb back up but we've got a 3 foot minipipe in the barn that we're putting to good use.
These guys were all my heroes at 14-15 years old while I was skating now I’m 51 and there still my heroes 😂 Skate or Die..Love it that all these guys are still doing it and are making a living at it

When I first saw Bucky in Public Domain, my life was changed. I almost killed myself trying to learn body-wraps off of jump ramps. His style and power was unmatched in the 80's and he still skates like someone half his age.

Bucky lasek and Bob Burnquist are my favorite vert skaters still to this day. I've been a street skateboarder for over 2 decades and I have so much respect for vert skaters bc everytime I went to the Kona skatepark in Jacksonville, FL I'd always go check out the big vert ramp (half-pipe) there and would be amazed watching people skate it in person. Anyway I have so much respect for Bucky to still be skating at his age and I hope to still be skating at that age myself.Much love to fellow skaters and I wish everyone a healthy and safe 2021.
He's obviously one of the best to ever do it. The one thing I will never understand is how he even decided to skate switch on vert. That seems so intimidating to me. He's just so casual about it and does such high caliber tricks in his opposite stance.
In summer 1990 I had the extreme fortune of skating right behind (I dare not say ‘with’) Bucky from the shop entrance down a slight hill to the back alley where the Powell demo was to take place. Dude the man had street chops to rival anyone; one of the greatest moments of my life 🙏
