Macaw's are a larger breed of parrots But they are definitely parrots As a parrot owner bird lover the amount of training that those birds have to be able to do that that many times A-day It's beyond words and I Can not wait to see it in person someday

It’s amazing what triggers your emotions during these times! I was happily watching and then just lost it at the Lion King!! 😭 Katie summed it up nicely about the emotion and happiness of the performance. For the record it was beautiful and did translate nicely through video. Gotta watch again with a box of Kleenex!!🥰🥰

I loved loved loved this video! So emotional! I was crying in the beginning with all the parrots, then a blubber fest with the live show, I felt there passion too! Then you guys had one laughing out loud on the coaster! When your older and alone you guys really have become friends, so thank you for that!

I’m glad they’ve loosened their mask mandate so we can see Charlie’s huge smile when he saw the tree. Classic!
A macaw is a type of parrot. So yes you are seeing parrots fly. In that group you have Scarlet Macaws, Blue and Gold Macaw and Military Macaws from what I could see. Just some parrot knowledge from bird nerd.

Always wonderful to see the park through a first timers eyes. I worked as a custodian in Africa for a couple of years when the park first opened. It was amazing to be there almost every day. And every second that I wasn't at work, I was in a park. 💖

We saw the Lion King back in April 1998 during pre-opening. Most of the costumes were not even being worn that day. The "monkey" acrobats were wearing red leopards. It was exciting even then. I can't wait on being back to the parks!

I want to see FOTLK so badly! Years ago I got the chance to Stage Manage a production of "Julius Caesar" in a theatre like that- what we call "theatre-in-the-round" or an "arena" style stage. Every aspect of the show is different from a typical "proscenium stage" show- the blocking, the lighting, the sound direction, the lack of scrims, curtains, travelers and "legs" - it changes everything for both the actors and the crew. It's really great for certain shows! That looks like a great production, so glad live performance is allowed again!

I’m glad you got to see Festival of the Lion King! It is the best! (Although I’m sad they don’t have the Monkey Gymnasts in it right now-they were amazing). Expedition Everest is my favorite Disney Coaster. So much fun. I hope that Pixar Charlie gets to go on Flight of Passage at some point...that’s an amazing experience👍

Spencer, you are the only American I know who uses the word "queue" mostly you only hear the word "line" in the States (I'm from the UK) and I pick up on it every time you say it.
When I went, there was already a 2 hour wait for flight of passage and that was right at open

There's a bird show in ANIMAL KINGDOM called Feathered Friends in Flight that I really enjoy and you may want to see on your next visit to AK.
Katie , try to do the flight over Pandora. It is nothing compared to the rollercoaster rides you have gone on. And my family said it’s the best ride they have ever been on!
