I love how you show all the little details for long enough that we get a good look. The directed look at the totems and all the little details, the calm quiet views of the lake, the reverent look at Walt and his train, even the look at the cupcakes - thank you for such a great video!

You need to go to Fort Wilderness campground. It open the same year that Walt Disney World .

Our two favorite resorts are the Grand Floridian and this, we always stay at one or the other! We'll be here in February for 9 nights and 10 days.....can't wait!!!!!

Welcome to our home! We bought DVC at Copper Creek in May 2019, stayed there in January 2020 and were just there a week and a half ago. My cousins had one of the Cascade Cabins, we had dinner at Whispering Canyon. The Wilderness Lodge is AMAZING! Glad you enjoyed it!
Also, that Seven Dwarfs table looks like the tables I saw at Wyland at the Boardwalk. Go in there - you will LOVE the art!

You’ve not even experienced the full beauty of this resort until you’ve seen it decorated for Christmas! The lobby Christmas tree alone will render you speechless!! One of my favorite things to do during the holidays is hang out by the 4th floor fireplace taking in all of the sights and sounds. Hopefully you guys will get to experience this later this year!
So agree! We got there New Year’s Day 2020 and the decorations were all still up. The Christmas tree is so, so beautiful!

The lodge type of resort is definitely my absolute favorite. Loved the love and history on Walt Disney. It’s really amazing the legacy he created. Can you imagine having the idea and accomplishing something that has affected so many people? Pretty mind blowing.

Out of all the resorts we've stayed at, Wilderness Lodge is by far or favorite. Thank you for bringing us back there!

The waterfall from the lobby flows down under the bridge and then recycles to the top. The pool water is pumped from under the bridge to the pool. There is a split in the system that hides under the bridge.

I’m so thrilled that you got to see the special place that is the Boulder Ridge lobby & the railroad car. ☺️🚂 Wilderness Lodge is really a magical place, it is so tranquil, and at Christmas, words cannot express how much I enjoy just sitting in either of those lobbies in a rocking chair, by the fire listening to the music. I did that in 2020 at the Boulder Ridge lobby, reflecting on the year, and I will never forget it. ❤️🌲🔥🌳 I hope you can come back at Christmas some time & also experience The Storybook Dining at Artist Point!

I bought there in 2001 my DVC before they seperated hotel from DVC...went to CA Hotel too...just signed my name at the Plaza Hotel also in NYC.

I'm always amazed at the detailing on everything at any disney property! Its so impressive, love it!! I could probably spend a whole day just admiring that place 🥰
11:15 Just a quick fun fact about the river going into the pool. Its an illusion.... If you follow the river from the main lobby, at some point it drops down via the waterfall, but then the river going to the pool is actually recirculated pool water, and the design makes it seem as if the river from the lobby to the pool never stopped. Its a pretty cool trick. :)
My favorite! This and the Polynesian is where I stay. Grand Floridian at times as well. Glad you guys are having fun, you deserve it. Looking forward to follow along!

This would be my first choice for where to stay at Walt Disney World because of the beautiful architecture. Well either that or Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge because of its own architecture and the animals right outside your room.
Love the Lodge and have stayed here regularly since I was a kid. Many great memories here. One of the most jaw dropping grand lobbies in all of Disney. Spence they used to sell Lincoln logs in the gift shop. Glad you guys enjoyed it.
Ashame you didn’t get a tour of the cabins along Bay Lake . They are unbelievable. Including indoor hot tubs in them.
Loved this! My first trip to DW is coming up, and we're staying at Wilderness Lodge. So much great information. Beautiful architecture, really reminds me of the lodge at Yellowstone.
There used to be a mama and baby Buffalo in that grass area where those hove prints went towards at the front of the lodge 😊
Great Video!! If you ever find yourself back here during this current trip, you must eat at Whispering Canyon! Its such a great time, and the food is so good. Their bottomless skillets are the best!

Spencer and Kate. You can take a Disney Ferry Boat from Wilderness Lodge to Magic Kingdom. You can follow the walking path on the river to Grand Floridian to Magic Kingdom.
So torn. We booked a really cheap hotel for our whole vacation.. wondering if I should book a night or two here. It would cost more than the entire week at the other hotel. But would be nice to do something fancy for once. Gah. Not sure. It’s just sooo much money. 2 nights there is the same $ as our monthly mortgage.
