Animal Kingdom was our favorite park I'm so sorry Katie has motion sickness, when we rode flight of passage it took my breath away i cried because the visuals were spectacular. I'm so glad she rode everest though💖💖💖💖

Animal Kingdom is my favorite park. (Well second to the Magic Kingdom but that always will have my heart). There is such energy there. Not sure about how it is with all the restrictions but usually there are so many entertainers -- vibrant music and color. The animals. This park has my soul. Everest is my favorite ride in all of WDW and I do take Dramamine before Flight of Passage. It is such a beautiful ride but it messes with me without.
I've never ridden Expedition Everest before (I've always wanted to), but I'd imagine it'd be a completely different experience riding it at night!

The asteroid that destroyed the dinosaur 🦕, hit in Northern Mexico. The Yucatan to be precise. It hit half on land and half in the gulf of Mexico. It distributed a plume of sulfer that took out the sun and then the 🦕.
I hope in your next AK visit, Katie rides FOP. Spence, please convince her 🙂. IMO, it’s the best ride in all of WDW without a doubt

Katie, gurrrll, What ever you do when you guys come back, please, oh please take some Dramamine and ride Flight of Passage, you will not be sorry, I absolutely promise! It is a stunning and not to be missed! ❤️👏❤️ I typically have to take Dramamine if I’m doing rock ‘n roller coaster or Everest, so I absolutely get it! Please give it a try! 🥰
I might! Dramamine hasn’t helped on soarin or Star tours.. for some reason simulator rides like that just make me so sick 😭
@@BestlifeandBeyondofficial If Dramamine doesn't help you I have a fool proof remedy to fight motion sickness. Just go to any Osco, Walgreens, etc. and get Ginger capsules. I'd feel nauseous after a simulator or a good round of a Tilt-A-Whirl. By just taking a capsule 1/2 hour or so before riding, you'll conquer anything.
@@drmagic60 so you take the capsules beforehand? Do you taste any ginger? I cannot eat those ginger candies, they make me sick.
@@michellem5853 Yes.. I would take one 1/2 hour or so before riding, and no you can't taste the ginger. I take fish oil capsules and I can't taste those. Depending how long you're out, you may need to take another ginger capsule a few hours later, just depends. Try Googling "ginger capsules" and you'll probably learn more about them.

Flight of Passage and Everest are two of my most favorite Disney rides anywhere! I’m proud of Katie doing Everest-it’s awesome...but that backwards-turn-whatever it’s doing-can make you feel wheezy 🙃 The projections on the tree of life at night are beautiful and Pandora is at its best at night!
Yes! Every time I ride it I swear I’m upside down even tho I know better. My kid likes to ride over and over again but I can do 2 times tops then feel like I can’t walk straight 🤣
@@TheDupresdoDisney My kids will ride it over and over again too 😊 It is the best Rollercoaster but I can only handle that one backwards section a couple of times in one day 😂

I've only been once to Animal Kingdom and loved every minute. SO much to see and the creativity is mind blowing. I'm glad you were able to experience it!

@@melissashaw1311 you shouldn’t miss the flight of passage that Spencer didn’t film. It would be too hard to film unless you used a hat camera. It is one of the best rides on earth , to not be missed!

Way to go Katie! I didn't ride Screaming or Tower of Terror for a long time. Finally fought my fears and now I ride the newer versions every time.
Pandora is breath taking day or night. As for Everest last minute I decided not to go since I don’t do well on roller coasters or heights maybe someday. Thank you guys so much for letting us tag along.

Part 2 was as much fun as part 1, you all had a great time and that's what these parks are for, we feel we so enjoy all the new features at the Animal Kingdom. Because of all the room there is in Florida they have been able to add to the rides that we share from Disneyland. We think we would love the Haunted House there. So glad you are enjoying yourselves
Shame Katie could not do Flight of Passage. It's one of the best rides in Disney World.

It too bad that Katie was unable to that the flight of passage, as it is maybe the best ride anywhere. She can view what the ride was like on utube, it’s stunning, even though it’s not the same as actually doing it. Glad you didn’t miss it Spencer.! This reminds me of the kingdom of the dinosaur ride at Knotts yrs ago that ride gave me the creepy vibe.
I could ride the riverboat for more than an hour it is so relaxing and enchanting 😍

Katie my heart was racing for you on Everest. I have the same issue as you with the going backwards. I have only ridden this one.. Also, I agree Spencer it feels like you go upside down.
I’m the same way and a trick I’ve tried and it has helped is to take a Dramamine pill when I go to bed. The motion sickness med is in your system but you are not drowsy during your park time. I also, put a cool towel on my neck and focus on one object in the ride. If I start to get sick, I close my eyes.
Katie your face on the start of Everest reminds me of myself. I’m in a panic. You did great, tried it once and that is it. Luckily it was your last ride of the night. I did it as my first ride of the day and was sick all day.
The main thing is you did it. My girlfriend and I were literally just talking about Universal coasters and trying things once (within reason) before you write it off.
Katie I love that you went on expedition Everest! That was my first ride ever at WDW and I will never go back LOL the backwards is what did it for me but at least we can say we tried it.

Katie I get REALLY sick on rides too. I always have to take 2 Dramamine before I get on rides. I rode Everest for the first time a couple of years ago and I was worried about the backwards moving in the dark too. I felt a little dizzy but nowhere near as bad as I would be if I rode it without Dramamine. We ended up riding it 3 times in a row lol.
Waited 2 1/2 hours for FOP. Was worth it.

I would say so. The rough part for me is that is goes backwards at one point.

Think so? I have only been once, and that was before the Avatar stuff. With four parks at WDW, and having to get onto a plane to get there, I kinda tend to just go for the others first.
Thank goodness they didn’t get “B” mode (a.k.a. screen mode) on the River Journey.
Spencer, do you have any relatives in Vermont? A friend posted a picture of a historical covered bridge on Facebook in Taftsville and the marker says it was built by Solomon Emmons III in 1836.

I’m not sure if Adam ever rides Avatar: Flight of Passage lol. Personally it’s my 3rd favorite ride in Florida after Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure.
Flight of Passage used to be my #1 favorite Disney Ride in the US. Rise of the Resistance tops my list now..but Flight of Passage and Expedition Everest are my 2nd and 3rd👍 I haven’t ridden Hagrids though-my kids who have say it’s amazing!
@@2000calleen Expedition Everest is amazing as well. Hagrid’s is an amazing coaster especially at night time! I hear the new Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Coaster at Epcot will combine the story-telling aspects of Rise of the Resistance and similar coaster elements of Hagrid’s Motorbike Adventure and if that’s the future of Theme Park rides then the future is bright for sure!
@@themeparkenthusiast6892 I’m excited for Guardians of the Galaxy! ! I love the Guardians of the Galaxy ride at DCA (although I know they are completely different types of rides). All of the new rides are amazing-exciting for sure!
