    who'd wish for a pebble to cause your demise? you are the heart of the machine - nice description of your bike spec; the wireless integration; keeping your hands on the hoods while scrolling pages on your cycling computer; 32 mm tires - wide - cool; how far knowledge has progressed about rolling resistance, etc.

    Nice and such a clean cockpit ! The bike looks like fun climber as well . Thanks 👍

    • @einundsiebenziger5488
      @einundsiebenziger5488 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Wait how "clean" the cockpit will stay as soon as you want to clean or replace one of the headset bearing or the bar-stem combo gets damaged. You'll have to completely remove all the Di2 cables and brake hoses, meaning unattaching them, pull them out of the frame and fiddle them back in when done. May look nice but it's the most rider/mechanic unfriendly way to design a bike for sure.

    Hey Safa! Big fan of your work and I watched all of your videos! Actually you are the reason I got into gravel riding. I got myself a Giant Revolt after watching the “You will want a gravel bike after this video”. Thanks for introducing me to the wonderful world of cycling :)
    I know you do mostly road and gravel riding nowadays. However, is it possible for you to do a fixie video in the street of LA? The collaboration you had with Terry in Mexico riding track bike was mind blowing to say the least. Hopefully you will read this and continue the great work!

    I am riding the Scott addict e ride ultimate since one year, I had before Simplon Pavo 6.9kg, this was a very fast bike but fragile! Now I am 64years, and Scott addict ultimate made my day, only10kg and with Mahle X20 the best and lightest e Motor I have ever seen, in all conditions I like this bike, I recommend to change tyres from30 to 32mm,Viittorio zaffiro pro❤

    • @CrazyAboutCycling
      @CrazyAboutCycling 16 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      I have a Scott addict RC which is a similar hmx to yours I think. I am running sram. Mix of red & force. Cardiac arrest made me switch to eRide. I have 2 other Scott addicts & love this newest x20 motored bike. It’s got enough aero in it as well as a fast efficacy. Power transfer feels very efficient and the motor is great! I have an Orbea too but that gain is x35, too stiff even on 32s. The addict tires are Schwalbe pro ones. The evolution over the years to this 2024 is just remarkable!
      A future bike maybe end up a Scott solace, with the hub tq type motor. But not until I get much older.
      My Scott addict from 2016 is 6.9kg, I have a 2007 R series addict which is 6.34kg. I won’t go into my other bikes, but few bikes feel stable & fast like the addict. The foil is another great bike I have also ridden.

      Haha, riding them feels like they were made just for me, but perhaps you didn't understand what I was saying. They don't make tubeless in larger than 28s. They make the Corsa in 30 and 32, but not tubeless versions at that size.

      What kind of pressure gauge are you using and how much do you weigh? I run my road bike with 25 mm tires at 7 bar (101 psi), my commuter bike with 38 mm tires at 5 bar (72 psi). When pressure drops to 6.5 bar (95 psi) bar or (4.2 bar (60 psi), respectively, both bikes become noticeably slower. A 32 mm tire looks and feels almost flat at 4.2 bar, if you do not want to waste most of your power to overcome rolling resistance, you need to punp it to at least 6 bar (87 psi).

    Hi Safa I love watching your videos, they inspire me a lot. I have a question for you, I am facing the choice of a bike but due to finances I will be able to choose only one bike or take Scott foil pro 2023 - I live in Mazovia where it is flat and there are no mountains. My second choice is the Scott Addict Pro 2022 and I wonder if it won't be a more universal bike to have an excuse to go to the mountains once a year. What would you recommend? Thanks for the tip and I wish you all the best! P.S. I love your stickers!!! ave ;)

    • @SAFABrian
      @SAFABrian  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Foil if you want to go faster since it's flat where you live. It's still light enough to climb when that comes up. Addict has a slightly more relaxed fit if you don't want to be in a racy position all day. They're both killer bikes so it could just come down to aestherics for you, you'll be happy with either one.
