Love hiking that trail in Canada! Thanks for taking us back to some wonderful places we remember fondly now that we call Wales home! We are new subscribers and look forward to more of your content! 😊
That trail is amazing! So many incredible things! The beaches, the waterfalls, the ladders, the cable cars, the wildlife (the bears at the end) I couldn't believe how many cool things were there. There may not be a lot of elevation gains, but some of those ladders would kick my butt! That truly was a most excellent adventure! Thank you for sharing this!
I plan on hiking WTC next summer. How do you get from the airport to Port Renfrew? Is there a shuttle that takes you to the trail and back to the airport once you complete it?
You have more exposure to both the AT and charitable organizations than anyone else I know. In the wake of the hurricane destruction on over one third of the trail do you have any suggestions on the best charities to donate money or time to? I had planned to hike the Virginia triple crown section in late October. Since that probably won't happen, I am considering doing some volunteer work instead, and probably sending some monetary contributions as well. I would appreciate your suggestions if you feel qualified to offer any.
@@kennethschaidle5995 That is so kind of you, Ken! I am absolutely heartbroken for all those southern communities and I can’t imagine how they’re going to clean up and rebuild. I have seen a lot of suggestions floating around, and an organization I see people talk about over and over offering aid is the Red Cross. I also came across this article today with a list of organizations from Blue Ridge Outdoors: www.blueridgeoutdoors.com/news/how-to-help-those-affected-by-hurricane-helene/?amp. The Trek also put together a similar article: thetrek.co/appalachian-trail/want-to-help-at-communities-recover-from-hurricane-helene-heres-how/?ref=slider. So between those two, lots of suggestions!
That looks like a great trail and it seems you both had a wonderful time!
Absolutely! Highly recommend this one. :)

Did this trailback I the primitive 1980’s when no reservations needed no fancy toilets and nobody there…pure bliss.Peace from a local B.C.er.
@@raddadray7535 I bet that was amazing! 🌟
Planning for the tides sure adds a new twist to hiking! Great stuff as always!!! 🤟❤
@@rdwoten That’s for sure! What a fun/ great adventure. 🤩
Best hair in the business. Thank you.
Ha! Thanks, Aaron. :)
Enjoyable as all your videos. I especially like when you can let that beautiful hair down to blow in the breeze.
I usually can’t because it’s too unruly/ tied in knots while backpacking. 🤣
I can smell the ocean as you are hiking the high water line. It’s just beautiful!!
Did you have much of a problem with condensation in your tent??
Nope, no condensation in the tent!
This all seemed familiar, somehow. Happy Trails. Good Luck, Rick
Haha I usually try to make a summary video at the end of a series for the people who don’t like the day-to-day vlogs. 😊
@@AudreyAdventures Dad jokes aren't bad jokes, they just aren't that good. Good Luck, Rick

You can take the West Coast Express from downtown Victoria: www.translink.ca/schedules-and-maps/west-coast-express
Sorry I gave you the wrong link. This one! trailbus.com/
