"The Gundam Flauros is the 64th of the 72 Gundam Frames created by Gjallarhorn near the end of the Calamity War to counter the threat of the powerful mobile armors such as Hashmal. With a white-and-blue color scheme, it was eventually sent to Mars to fight the mobile armors there. It was later abandoned in a half-metal mine alongside Hashmal, where they would remain, hidden and dormant, for over three centuries."
"In P.D 325, the Gundam Flauros was excavated alongside Hashmal by Tekkadan. While the true nature of the much larger mobile armor initially remained unknown, Tekkadan immediately recognized Flauros as a Gundam Frame. It was salvaged and sent to Saisei to be repaired and overhauled, with its original colors replaced by the distinctive magenta color favored by Norba Shino. Once repairs were complete, Flauros was sent back to Mars to assist Tekkadan against the awakened Hashmal. Using its railguns, the Flauros was able to separate the Hashmal from its Pluma support units."

I really love this suit, I like how this is the first Gundam frame to have an alternate form. Put more to it, Shino definitely was a worthy pilot. It's too bad he failed in the end.... damn you Julietta

Honest question, what do you mean by “alternate form”? Because there others before it like the Wing, Wing Zero, Zeta, Double Zeta..
@@cerebralflip00 But the others aren't Gundam Frames. Gundam frames are the universal skeleton underneath all IBO gundams.
@@ThisDudeCrisis forgive my ignorance, but when you say gundam frame, you are referring to the IBO frames specifically, correct? Because in wing and endless waltz, they all had the generic frame underneath, though the wing and wing zero were transformable. The rx was “modular”, like a voltes 5 as well as the zeta or double zeta, so i guess they don’t have the same “frame” that you are referring to?

After learning what the true ending was, I’m grateful for this ending that we got.
It’s still not all that good, but it’s a bittersweet ending overall. The original ending meanwhile is sad and dark.

戦力的にはこのフラウロス含め 鉄華団にはガンダムフレームを三機所有して、共闘関係のバエルを含めれば四機あったんだよなあ。おそらくこれだけの戦力はGHにもなかったはずで、最終決戦 ダインスレイブさえなければ何とかなったと思うんだが。

Flauros is amazing powerfull gundam
Flauros going to Shino still kind of bugs me, because he never struck me as the long range artillery support guy. He was always in the thick of it, ya know? Akihiro, even from early on, consistently filled gaps and roles left open by Mika, so the Rebake and Full City having extra arms to allow for that utility made a lot of narrative sense. By contrast, the way Flauros was integrated into Tekkadan was very slapdash.
Like, I know probably stems from Sunrise being under Bandai's thumb, because Bandai basically mandates when a design has to appear in-show to coincide with merchandise releases, but you'd think the Gundam franchise, with its longer production cycles, would be much better integrating this sort of thing than franchises like Kamen Rider or Super Sentai. Same caveats, far more breakneck production cycles.

In its alternate mode, yes. Gundam Flauros could've singlehandedly destroyed Hashmal and Mikazuki wouldn't have been paralyzed.

@@christianvirtudazo3106 Yeah, if it weren't for that and the plot then Hashmal would've been either severely damaged (like Barbatos and Gusion) or destroyed.
