To check The Max RAM Supported on your Laptop, Open CMD Prompt as Admin and type wmic memphysical get maxcapacity and Press Enter. Divide the Result by 1048576 will get in GB
I have one RAM Slot occupied with 8gb RAM, can I add a 16GB stick on the other slot.... total 24GB?
You can add but it won't perform with full potential, as there would be frequency mismatch. It would be better if you use another stick of 8 GB

The company don't matter, just match the RAM type(DDR4, channel(Dual Channel) and speed(3200K)

and how much tb of SSD this laptop can supports in both nvme or sata slots
or my laptop pre installed ram is single channel can this laptop support both dual channel ram if i upgrade
Mine is same. Actually there is no limit for storage. I have tested for 1 tb each on nvme and sata slots slots. There is two memory slots foe ram. Max RAM support is 16Gb as per website but I have installed 32 gb ie 16x2 and both is working fine. During editing and post production my memory consumption goes upto 31 gb ie this implies that 32 Gb of ram is working fine.

I just bought the same RAM 16GB×2 and installed it on the same model like you two but it only shows 16gb in task manager and system information.
I checked in CPU-Z and HWInfo64 and they detect both the memories but only 1 is being used.

Yes, you can either install separate 1TB SSD in the empty slot or you can replace your existing 512 SSD. But make sure to take the system image backup before doing so
