Quite helpful to learn how to create the socket out of 3D measured foot. Select -> Offset -> Offset ->Connect -> Smooth Plane cut -> move the part ->join -> adjust plane height -> smooth. Wish I can hear your voice. Audio file not attached? Thank you for the great presentation.
Hi my name is Sarah I have the bottom part of my prosthetic but the actual plastic socket does not fit so I removed it hoping to make my own it was easy so I figured it'd be easy to have new one made and put back on, would I be able to pay you to make a socket for me if I could get a 3d image of my stump?
This doesn't work for me. I am a prosthetist and the major flaw is that it creates 2 shells and leaves the middle hollow. I could use %100 infill but I would rather my 3d printer just do multiples shells. When I just import a scan into simplify3d and add shells I get very strange results. I am searching for a way to use a scan, cut it down to the trim lines that I want, throw it into a slicer and add 4 shells around it for strength. If anyone knows how to do this please help me. I have been trying to do this for over a month now.
Hi, I have some problems with the function Join. I've made a socket of a upperlimb (in Meshmixer) and a base (in Solid Works and saved as STL file). Now I want to Join the socket and the base, I Combined the two parts and selected both edges for the Join. But when I hit Join, nothing happends. Am I missing a step? Anyone who can help me out?
I guess the trick is to have the base without the top face; check that he/she remove it before Join them. Also both bodies become one before Join (using Combine)
Do you have a step by step guide for this video? It's hard to follow along in some places where you use hotkeys.

how you take out the positive mold inside the socket? I didn't understand that step..
what software was used
What steps/commands are being performed from 0:54 to confirmed selection
I'm working through this slowly. Will be remaking a video to explain what I find if I can recreate it. At 0:54 they are using "Smooth Boundary".
hi, can you please post the 3D model (*.stl, *.obj)
Can you share name of program
First time I am seeing this video. Thanks for uploading
Anyone have a scan for a transradial residual limb?
can I compress 3d glb file to 300mb to 100 mb
could you share the residual limb stl file with me

How do I make the modification at the edges that happens at the moment 2.24seg of the video?
every time i try this i end up with a really awful edge. what am i doing wrong?
How do you keep the smooth sides. i cant do it
Thank you for uploading. This was very helpful for our student project.
Please..next time you make an important video like this make sure to put on screen rec for hotkeys.
Hey do you have the file for the lower limb I can borrow?
Since it's technically patient's data I believe it's considered confidential. That's why they can't share it and you can't find any on the internet.
+RZA Sneaks Damn! I thought it! :/ always when i was searching more videos which use human body as a reference i found that problem !

It would be really nice if you answer our questions. You have been ignoring questions since 10 months ago... smh
why go so fast and silent?
Exactly, why?
Huh
