Meshmixer Series: Episode 7 - Residual Limb Scan to Socket

  • In this video, I demonstrate how to create a patient-specific 3D printable prosthetic socket from a 3D scan of the patients residual limb. Included are details on how to attach adapters to the bottom of the socket to enable the socket to interface with a standard pylon.

    Hi, did you adjust the dimensions before you created the socket? How did you know the distance of the socket to the limb to be computed

      Hi! This scan was taken by someone else, but I believe they used the first generation Structure Sensor by Occipital. Here is a link to their website: structure.io/
