My orthodontist recommends wearing retainers for a year full time and the 2nd year is where you can wear them at night only. I cannot remember what the 3rd year+ was but, I honestly wore my retainers 24/7 for years anyways.
I was told it might be 5 years of retainer before night only so you saying it might only be 3 months thats relief hopefully in a year I don't need retainer in all the time. Halfway through braces
I used to go through so many pairs of those fake vampire teeth during Halloween when I was very young because when I would take them out they’d be completely filled to the brim with spit and I’d gag whenever I saw it. Lol.
Had a friend that had a retainer and was so gross. She would take it out and drop it into her lunchbox (without the case) and would get food all over it. She also lost it one time and then we found it again on the floor after a week or so. It was disgusting

Yeah have a retainer for three months I have had like four different retainers. I am getting back to my Invisalign Monday and I’ll try to be more responsible with it so I don’t have to wear another retainer😅😐
My friends friend has wore hers for a very long time and she always pulls it out and sticks it in her water bottle and it’s all chewed and ruined! Disgusting 🤮

No. The fibers in between your teeth will always attempt to go back into their original position regardless of how often you wear the retainers. It's just how your mouth works. There's no such thing as dental training or teeth training. Taking the retainers off for long periods of time after several months after using them will have your teeth shift.

I got mine off a few years ago and for the first few years I was pretty okay at wearing them but since I have problems wearing it, I feel like my tongue is too big and when I have both trays in it bothers me (which talking to my dentist I need to go back to ortho to see if they can put in a permanent one or something to fix that) so anyway personally when I don’t wear mine the biggest thing that I notice is that I get a gap in between my two front teeth, which I know is because I had an expander on the top so it’s like that it’s coming back, however if I put them on for at least eight hours or so it will make it pretty much go away, although I think if i have them on for at least 12 hours that makes them about perfect again as well as helps them better stay put (it’s best if I do that for at least 2/3 days in a row then that will make it even better and last even longer) so like they will be perfectly straight again while they stay that way and for me like it’ll be a good 2/3 weeks or so I’ll forget about it before I notice the gap slightly coming back which is my sign that it’s time to wear them again lol but again not for long and as long as you keep it up (even if it’s not consistent just do it when you can and it’ll help and make a difference)

But the thing is I’m scared what will happen. And I have 2 teeth like this. The other one isn’t as bad,it’s just got a few cavities. And the first one is hurting right now.
