This was random, but I just realized Sora's outfits from KH2-DDD showcase being "chained" by with the all the "Xs" on this clothes. Yet in KH3's new outfit there don't seem to be any. Unchained!
God riku being soras dream eater is forever my favorite and most beloved part of DDD. He's. He's *his dream eater* and he became it because he JUST SENSED something was WRONG WITH HIS BEST FRIEND AS THEY WERE BOTH ASLEEP AND G O D. I love them so much.
Man, I've been wondering why the world title for the Keyblade Graveyard came later, why Sora felt Anna's pain(which never happened before) and the presence of Dream Eaters(& the fact that they're solid). Now it's all starting to make sense! :O
It is because Sora and Riku are the Child of Destiny. I would point out Riku spends time in Sora's Heart. (Dream Drop Distance), thus being One. Also both were Chosen to be Dark Vessels.
It is also implied Dreams are more expanded versions of the Unmanifest Worlds of Light. Which means You can know things that haven't happen yet. You feeding information from your higher dimensional state. It is you detecting your own Fate. Because the Master of Masters scripted this with his Magic Manifesting Book and his Sight, sometimes the Characters can unconsciously sense it. Take for example, when Maleficent controls Terra's Darkness, and makes him take Princess Aurora's Heart, he sees Ventus in a flash. But why? Simple. Ventus was a Pure Light damaged by Darkness (the Being who becomes Vanitas) with Master Xehanort's influence. Maleficent controlling Terra's Darkness and making him hurt a Pure Light mirrors this. So Terra can unconsciously sense his Fate is to become a Darkness, and a Shadow to Ventus's Light. Thus, the Vision, the Dream, the Seeing.
@@Fragmentsinfractals488 Oh god, my brain. I "think" I get what you're saying, but I might need to let it settle in my brain a couple of times for me to completely understand- Great observation though! 👍
@@purpleirken1529 Another example of this is Sora's Dream in the First game. It is revealed by Nomura that the Voice that directs you, the one you cannot hear is Mickey. But Mickey doesn't know Sora at this point. But He will. So in this Dreaming State, Sora's Heart can connected to the Future Mickey's Heart where Mickey does know Sora and has seen him at the Door. Because in the Realm of Dreaming and Death that already Happened. It is like DC comics, the Dreaming,. The Dreaming contains the Collective Unconscious of Beings, and has any Books, Myths, or script anyone has ever made. So to come back to Kingdom Hearts, the Dream is the Imagination and Stories in the Hearts, and Kingdom Hearts has Imagined the Past, Present, and Future. So when Sora's Sleeps he is picking up Fragments of the Future that was Dreamed before it will occur in the Realm of Light.

Loved The Video :) I Been Having These Weird Thoughts Lately That When Yozora Defeats Sora, Sora Gets Crystallized And Returns To The One Heart That Has The Special Bond With Him That Is Riku’s And That’s Why Riku Has The Dreams Of Himself Finding Sora In Tall Buildings And Someone Watching Him Up Ahead. Riku Will Be The Key To Restore Sora’s Being. Also When Sora Defeats Yozora, Yozora States That His Power Isn’t Needed Yet (Thinking All Three Sora, Riku and Yozora Will Have A Huge Impact Going Forward) Soriku Forever :)
I feel bad that I missed the majority of these theory streams (or missed a stream completely), but I'm so happy you did this! This is such a complex theory that even the short time I watched my mind was totally boggled, lol. I really love this fandom.
This is all so cool, i just binged the two videos and Im absolutely obsessed. I've noticed the creepy Sora scene after him and Kairi getting back to the Keyblade graveyard a year ago and I tried to not reach, but it felt important. Why else would he still feel like that with everyone around? you guys are awesome, like, your group sounds so fun.
At 1:25:50 you mention that Joshua's dream portal color was yellowish-green. It's worth noting that this is the color opposite to the bright pink on the color wheel.
For 33:25 I see that as Sora’s subconscious trying to remember what Riku did for him but it’s like Sora forgets it before he can fully form the thought.
Maybe I’m late to this but it just dawned on me that maybe shibuya is the traverse town of the other reality either that or the final world of the other reality which would explain why the twewy gang ended up there for their game
Thank you guys for streaming this!!! I was there for the first hour-ish but then it got to late (timezones ugh) I'm really looking foward to the rest of the theory
I feel Riku is like Ventus. The Darkness sees the strong Light and attempts to consume it for Power. Then, the hero gain the Will to become immunity to it or not. As the Master wanted....
so after hearing thory, seeing whats canon. and what sora and kairi mean to eachother. I believe when sora fell in the keyblade graveyard first time around. Kairi used the power of waking in a similar way to sora and used it to hold him together and put him back in the keyblade graveyard before the defeat again. I believe future kairi. was probably hopping between her physical body in the present and sora to help fight back against xehanort which would explain why some hints of her being in his hard hold for me. In that fight with xehanort with both of them they have a special reaction move called like two share one heart or something along those lines. them having that strong spirited connection I believe is why sora could body hop into kairi to deafend her in Melody of memory. I really think that would expalin why her heart looked. different because she was already expending so much energy to give sora and everyone a fighting chance even if it meant she could loose everything. sora and kairi are very alike. I love them both
I’m currently on my second listen. I don’t know how much of this I’ll actually agree with when I eventually replay 3 with this theory in mind, but the whole theory has been a very enjoyable ride. Good work!
So my question is, if Riku's hair is supposed to be some sort of indication that they entered the sleeping realm, why doesn't it go back to normal once they go back to reality in the Keyblade Graveyard? Like you bring up his hair again in the Secret Ending section, but you just sort of skip the fact that his hair never went back to normal in the first place
I mean, if you want to go there I can think of a reasonable explanation, that being that they didn't want to change the character models so late in the game to avoid confusion and for gameplay 😅. Sounds like a pretty shitty explanation when the argument is that Nomura is so intricate about the details but technically, let's think about DDD, specifically the world that never was. We're in "the real world" there, not a sleeping world, and yet both Sora and Riku keep their younger appearance and attire. Furthermore, when Sora gets kidnapped even while he is asleep we know it's the real world because Mickey and Axel and the rest come to save him and Riku, who shouldn't technically have that younger appearance either. Even more damning is that Sora is asleep here and is young, and then he is still asleep when they take him to Yen Sid's tower but there he and Riku look appropriately aged. Why is that the case? What I think is that since we still had to do the boss battles and everything, it would've been inconvenient to make a playable model for older Riku, and even if they did, it would be weird to have older Riku and younger Sora right next to each other for no apparent reason. I don't know, eventually they do return to their older selves while in kh3 Riku's hair never goes back even after a year. But we also have to take into account that the dream eater sigil never appears on his clothes like it did in DDD. Besides, the Riku model with longer hair looks kinda ugly so I don't blame then for not wanting to go back to it in the climax 😅 it would've also made it weird for the marketing and the image they wanted to present of kh3 Riku if he suddenly changed appearances so late in the game, but that's just my 2 cents.
Because Riku is still Sora's Dream Eater, and their Fates are Bonded. And because Sora abused the Power of Waking he is becoming more Unreal (Imaginary) by the second. Also, The Master of Master Scripted this whole thing, and the Master of Masters, like Nomura, likes his esoteric symbolism. Now, Riku before his second haircut, has the hair of Young Xehanort. So, not changing the Hair back shows Riku has surpassed Xehanort with his Love of Sora.
this seems very clear to me tbh? It's because the worldline they hopped over to then overwrote the real timeline. Riku's dream eater hair becomes real in the same way that everything from KH3 becomes real upon the return to reality!
I'd like to point out that Chirithy is a cat with the same color scheme as Gatomon, who is also a cat. And the voice actor of Chirithy, Lara Jill Miller, is also the voice actor for Kari...
I have arrived to the conclusion that Sora pulled a Made In Heaven before KH3 even started but like the first game run that we the players play he never found Kairi before KH3 started
1:37:17 wait now I got to look for which hand Xion's keyblade appears in because she is a leftie Nevermind Im tripping, I couldve sworn she was a leftie, I even went as far as to pickup the game myself and play a solo mission to see if I was tripping and indeed I was. Mandela effect 😭
