Its crazy how many ppl dismiss or hate on the Sleeping Realm Theory without actually reading it. Not only did you predict the endings time travel, all this theiry does is push a second layer of sleep-based time travel to the beginning. Its not as convoluted/tinfoil hat as it seems on first glance and doesn't change the story even if its correct. It mostly just expands on the lore and highlights Kairi's role in the plot alongside Riku
Another thing that supports the idea of averting destiny/fate as a running theme in KH is that the trio's original goal (especially Sora and Riku's) was to leave "Destiny" Islands. They've been trying to escape destiny since the beginning of the games.
There's something you missed that is vital to your Sleeping Realm Theory.... In KH3, you can carry over your keyblades and photos from a completed game. That was never done before in any main title KH game. Before I heard of your theory, I passed it off as "well the Ultima keyblade in KH3 is insanely hard to get", but that doesn't explain the photos. It's as if playing your second time with all the keyblades and photos from a completed file is canon. It's as if.. We did this before. Because remember, this was never done before in any mainline KH game. Just KH3.
There is also the Fact the Master of Masters knows the Child of Destiny and the Singularities. Which means, perhaps he wrote and scripted this. He also seems to interfer in his Timelines to make the thing he wants to happen, happen.
*lays down and dies* The Rage Form and Rikunort parts... They've killed me. More than the rest already did. One, because I _finally_ get why Rage Form exists. Not only that, it's a pretty subtle clue on the side of Kairi's heart is inside Sora. She being the Princess of Light means Sora can never get completely tainted with darkness and thus disabling Anti-Form, leaving Sora with only one outlet: his anger. Two, Rikunort being Darkness... I can't describe how much I love it and want more. Gimme more Darkness, Nomura! I must know what/who they are! And if the emotions they express are genuine! Why Riku in particular for this world? What did it serve other than confusing the player? It's not like It being Riku changes things unless it's all a setup for later... *brain explodes from overthinking* Anyway, thanks so much for going over this with Niku! Not only was it more fun than I expected but gave me more appreciation for the theory. I'd love to see you (and Niku if she wants) to go over more KH theories -like the AITSU one, hee hee- or anything KH related, really. You two are great fun!
The ending of KHUx only helps your case, with how the Dandelions are in the Sleeping World version of Daybreak Town and they only show up in the repeat of the Keyblade Graveyard in KH3, which would happen in the Realm of Sleep after the Light extinguished and the world fell to Darkness. Good job!
Something I noticed in ReMind: Sora and Kairi's combined attack is called "One Heart". Obviously, this could just be a generic phrase used to indicate two people in sync with each other, but given this theory's implication that Kairi's heart is missing or inside Sora's it could also be a sneaky hint.
These videos give me so much more respect for Nomura's talent as a storyteller and visual artist. It gives me hope for the theory that Re:Mind shows you were right about so much. Not sure what it all means for the future, but it's exciting to think about. Thanks both for the analysis!
@@JohnJohn-hm1fi I wouldn't say his writing is bad. It's unique and an acquired taste. Not everyone would like it since they're not given answers. Meanwhile others love it for being able to tap into their imaginations and fill in those answers themselves.
I don't know if I'm ready to say I'm totally onboard with the theory but there is definitely something here. Alot of somethings. I will say, I used to really feel underwhelmed by KHIII's story, but this have given me a new appreciation.
finally watched all these and something immediately stuck out to me in the section about Kingdom Hearts itself changing colour between "real" and "fake". i'm surprised it wasn't brought up in the video but i'm sure someone else has pointed it out since then. but the Blue heart represents Riku and the Yellow heart represents Sora, as shown in their separate keychains for the gayblade as well as their general colour schemes and dark/light motifs etc. so if i had to hazard a guess when or why Kingdom Hearts "changed colour"... I'd guess it was the moment the kingdom key transferred ownership from Riku to Sora. Or maybe there are just two Kingdom Heartses somehow. the blue one for riku and the yellow one for sora. :3c

Perhaps the *true* Kingdom Hearts changed colour from blue to yellow as a result of hopping to the new worldline/second timeline, since this would be in line with all the mirrored/swapped imagery explored in one of the earlier parts of the theory. Or possibly, the yellow Kingdom Hearts could have always been the *true* Kingdom Hearts, despite what we have been led to believe so far in the series. This could be because Kingdom Hearts simply needs hearts to be true and magical and full of light, which isn't too far-fetched given how powerful we know hearts to be. Should this be the case, if it's blue, there isn't any/much power or light in it as compared to when it is yellow and filled with hearts (i.e. the hearts of worlds in KH1 or the the hearts of people in KH2). In BBS, Kingdom Hearts was merely summoned but not filled with hearts, and therefore blue. In KHX, the Kingdom Hearts summoned during the ancient keyblade war could have been blue to start with. However, had the scene continued until the end, once all the hearts went up, it could have changed to yellow. Another explanation for KHX could be that the hearts of the keyblade wielders were captured within the black box that Luxu brought with him, as he was witnessing the world be destroyed. (Side note: the ancient keyblade wielders' hearts being in the black box could tie in with how the "light from the past" was able to help Sora during the Keyblade Graveyard "massive Demon Tornado" segment. Assuming the box was near to/in the Keyblade Graveyard at the time - since that's where Luxu is seen with it at the end of KH3 - the lights would have been close enough to help. If Luxu didn't bring the box there himself to help achieve the Master of Master's goal (e.g. of sending Sora to Shibuya - just one speculation), then by helping Sora, the lights could have inadvertently revealed to Luxu the location of the box which he tracked down by the end of the game.)
Just to add to the Theory of Kairi manifesting a body, we know Riku does this without help in KH1. The Riku behind the Locked Door to Darkness is Riku's Heart expelled by Ansem, Seeker of Darkness after Riku starts defying him. But, Riku's Light created a second body for him until Sora and Riku's connection created a Light that destroyed Ansem SOD's Darkness.
@John John But even Ansem, Seeker of Darkness didn't have a body when he was Brown Robe. He was a Heart in a Coat. Literally floating. That is why he had to possess Riku. So how did Riku create a body that people can see and that had to run on the ground?

That is why she wasn't able to escape the Realm of Darkness in KH1. If Riku was just a projection and Aqua and Mickey knew that, the Heartless wouldn't have been able to touch him. He would be like a ghost. So Aqua wouldn't have to protect him.

Something I learned today that is major for looking forward. In remind doing the data battles when you beat old master xehanort. he says "this is not what was written" which I think strongly implys that hes scene the book. and was working In remind to make the masters vision happen that he foresaw with sora leading a way to quadratium. so knowing that. and seeing the secret movie with the master already being in unreality. I think its safe to say he got there using sora in some way. and the six present darknesses represented in the box art of KH3. I believe to be the 4 foretellers returned plus Luxu that makes 5. I believe the last one could be ava. and she might be working behind the scenes. But because they established all of them would carry the 7 strongest darknesses. I believe she would survive and persist into current day. And possibly with time on her own shes either ok with what the master is doing or shes making a counter plan to ensure the worlds safety. but regardless. knowing what we know that there are 6 dark figures and all six of them could have in one way or another jumped reality to the present. I think is all very possible and would make sense why nomura drew 6 figures to start with. all six of those spots have to be filled and I cant think of many others who could fill avas spot.
maybe the True kingdom hearts color change between yellow and blue is a reflection of which timeline we're on? the True kingdom hearts being blue in the original timeline, and the True kingdom hearts being yellow in the new reality? :D

There's still a thing that doesn't hold up, I don't know if you got this before but.. Why doesn't Riku's hair turn back to normal after they're out of the dream realm?
Because the entire arc is scripted by the Master of Masters and it is part of the Riku's character growth that his hair not look like Xehanort's. Because Riku is a Child of Destiny and Xehanort is a failed one. The Master leaves abstract symbolism all over his special characters to signify their Roles. And of course, Riku's Fate is still bonded to Sora as his Dream Eater, and Sora is becoming more Unreal (Imaginary) by the second.
Isn’t Sora already somewhat fading by this point ? And since death and sleep touch, Sora dying might just have stuck Riku in his dream eater form. Especially after he ended up in Quadratum. I read a fic once where after some time, Riku ended up as a nightmare because of Sora’s long absence / death
the simplest answer is because the new worldline in the sleeping realm overwrote reality when they changed the timeline, just like how it's explained at the start of the document. Everything that happened in the sleeping realm became Real so Riku's hair change became Real along with everything else that happened

I think the limit of Sora and Kairi in Remind could hint at Kairi having been inside his heart during the story, since it is called One Heart.
