Run with an old explore 2 love my wat coil . My work hours have prevented me from detecting seriously for several years . Like you if it's deep in dig it . Years ago I had a deep signal that sounded like a crusty Indian head or wheat . Nope an 1877 seated in excellent condition . This was a road side park that was beat to death .

The bell shaped hardware looks like the inside of the weight that used to be on a string hanging from old school Venetian blinds to open and close them. Originally it probably had a decorative plastic/celluloid/bakelite cover.

Hello Merrill from Greece. I am safari owner and I totally agree with you. The minelab safari is a beast. The negative is the slow Processor because you have to search slowly, but it has great depth and is a silver coin killer. In my opinion CTX-3030, E-trac and Safari are the best minelab metal detectors ever made. Make more videos with safari and tell more tricks and tips. What is your favored mode for gold jewelry and what are the vdi numbers separating gold from pull tabs?

Thanks for your video. Brings back memories. I used to hunt Prospect when I lived in NJ (2003-2011). I used a Minelab Explorer 2. I had some amazing hunts with multiple seated finds...loads of Indian Heads. I even found a 1/2 reale. Parking tickets took their toll though. Stay safe.

I enjoy your videos because of the Park Hunts that you do. I wish someone would come out with a machine that they could prove would go deeper like 18" to 24". The current machines are all about the same. I would like a new machine but haven't found anything that is any better than what I have, First you have to find a signal and then dig it. You must have some doubt in the Nox 800 or you wouldn't have gone back to your old machine. Congrats on the seated dime! Enjoy your Taco Bell. GL and HH!
I’m always trying to assess strengths and weaknesses of the equipment I have. I think this taught me that it is time for an upgraded coil on the nox.

I totally recommend the 15 inch coil for the equinox , drop your sensitivity a tad and you will have no problem hitting silver 10-12 inches down. I hardly take it off nowadays. Almost at 400 silvers for the year already !! Continued success to you. Get those high tones and fill that box

Try the bigger Nox 800 coil. Get both bigger sweep and deeper stuff with lower weight vs Safari.

Hi Merrill the 15'' coil for the NOX will give you about another 1'' on depth but you cover a lot more ground. The 6'' coil you lose about 1'' of depth compared to the 11'' coil but gain a lot better separation. Just my experience, love your vids keep them coming.

Not a half dime. That is on my bucket list! Regular 1875 dime.
