Great memories w/ this playset.. push power is just as fun. This vid is entertaining to watch multiple times. Especially the crane operations and the Speedloader.
Well, yes, somehow they are. ;-) I tilted the whole set, accordingly to the direction, the train should move in each shot, so that gravitation made the trains move.
Thank you! It's neither. I tilted the whole set, accordingly to the direction, the train should move in each shot, so that gravitation made the trains move.
They are moving on their own, by tilting the whole playset for each single shot. So, basically they are moved by gravity, letting them roll downhill. You can see how I did this in my "making of" video: th-cam.com/video/296XClh6h2M/w-d-xo.html

I really wish Mattel could come back to this range in the future it was such a wholesome line of toy trains
I love the matchbox trains and I got some at the flea market today

Thank you very much, I really appreciate your comment!
Die Frage nach den Weichen hat sich erledigt.
Congratulations! It really is an excellent video, but I loved the accessory trains and everything related to the vehicles.
Thank you very much!
I love this video.
Thank you, great to hear that you enjoy it!
You should do a video showing the movie magic behind this!
Already done: th-cam.com/video/296XClh6h2M/w-d-xo.html
Ganz toll gemacht!!!
Mir bleibt nicht ganz klar woher die Weichen stammen. Eigenbau?
Danke schön, freut mich sehr! Ja, die Weichen stammen auch von Matchbox, aus Sets wie dem Goodsyard oder dem Motorcity 250.
Great video but how you move the train. Do you use magnet?🚂
Thank you! You can see how it was made here: th-cam.com/video/296XClh6h2M/w-d-xo.html
Are the matchbox trains in this video really moving by themselves? If they are, I’m creeped out.
Well, yes, somehow they are. ;-) I tilted the whole set, accordingly to the direction, the train should move in each shot, so that gravitation made the trains move.
Is this stop motion or are they being moved by a string? Overall, very soothing video.
Thank you! It's neither. I tilted the whole set, accordingly to the direction, the train should move in each shot, so that gravitation made the trains move.
How are the locos moving on their own or is it trick photography.

Wait then how are the other locomotives not moving?
@@sarahhockey02 held in place by hidden sticks probably
@@sarahhockey02 The set was not tilted that much, just so far that the one train startet moving.
where’d the track come from?
I bought all the tracks (as the locomotives and wagons) on Ebay. This are all original Matchbox tracks, made in the late 1970ies.
@@rofilmproduktion alright, thanks
Got here after this: th-cam.com/video/rCxf_AsbFPE/w-d-xo.html And both videos are really awesome! I didn't know Matchbox made trains too!
Thank you, Lee Moore! :-)
Is that duck?
Yes but has no face
Linz?
Ja, Linz.
