Hoya Clemensiorum is gorgeous. I have the Borneo sp. Athough it is a gorgeous gorgeous cutting…it takes FOREVER to grow!!! That’s probably why they are still so expensive. Mine has been busy growing roots but no active growth point as of yet. I find Lacunosa grow relatively quick. I have a Hoya Argéntea Princess that took a while to put out new growth but she’s starting to vine for me & she still has her variegation. I bought one for my daughter for Christmas last year at the same time I got mine, hers sadly reverted. I let her choose which one she wanted out of both cuttings. Look at a Hoya Undulata, same crusty dusty gorgeous leaves! This one will want to wrap it tendril around something and climb. I have the Monstera mint on my radar too…I think I like it better than the Monstera Aurea.
Oh yes some hoyas are really slow and take their time. The argentea and undulata are definitely ones I would love to add to my collection 🤩 hopefully one day 🤞
I had to chuckle at your philodendron rant. I’ve never had an issue with any of mine. My house fire plant is my Prince of Orange with the Tortum a close second.
@ I think you’d enjoy the Prince of Orange. Large thick leaves & the new leaves are a beautiful deep shade of orange that gradually fade to green. Absolutely gorgeous! They are a space commitment when they mature. And, they’re not expensive.
Love your wishlist, I wish I could keep things that concise, my plant wishlist is just under 40 plants but if I had to pick one of each genus.. Alocasia frydek variegated (I only recently got into alocasia so this one is pretty achievable), Anthurium red spider (why is it so expensive, it's so pretty), Hoya Peltalta (that leaf shape, those blooms! Reminds me of Dischidia nummularia which I also love), Monstera Peru variegated (it reminds me of a anthurium luxurians a little bit), Philodendron Glorious (for some reason I just haven't got one yet even though they're pretty accessible, I'd love a gloriousum galaxy too but those are way out of my budget) and I'll throw in a begonia for good measure, begonia Darthvaderina.
@@liv1639 if you're gonna get a frydek put it in semi hydro! They LOVE it!! The red spider is absolutely stunning, but the price tag makes me want to cry 🥹 Ok, the Peltat is going on my wishlist as well hahah 🤩✨ I had a horrible time growing the regular monstera peru so honestly don't even wanna try the variegated one 💀 (although it is gorg) I'm also actually missing a Glorious in my collection, but I just don't have the space for any more big girlies plus I know they require constant showers cause of efn 🫠 And that begonia is absolute *chefs kiss*, but I would unaliven that thing sooo fast 😂😂
@@thecozyplantco @thecozyplantco yess absolutely going in semihydro, all my other alocasia love it. I might start with a regular peru just to see if I can get the hang before going on the variegated then, thanks for the heads up! Luckily I only have a couple really big climbers so I can still fit the glorious but that's probably going to be my last big one. That would actually be my first begonia which is probably a terrible idea but I love it so much that I'm willing to risk it honestly.
@liv1639 in my experience the peru loves to throw out runners so I think a moss pole or high light is a must. Mine also had a nasty battle with thrips and couldn't get rid of them for the life of me 😭 I think the begonia is worth the risk tho haha it's sooo beautiful, if I come across one I will be grabbing it for sure. We can always deal with the consequences of our actions later 😌
I'm the same, I watch plant vids and earlier @HarliG had a syngonium white butterfly on hers that was just beautiful, I didn't know they would be hanging plants and now I want one lol
I agree 💯 about plants. Buy what you love ❤️ and want. Laurie from Canada 🇨🇦 👋🏽
Bahahha you're spot on about philodendrons! Most are so fussy I don't even deal with them anymore
@@valkatzenberg same here, such drama queens
So addicting, so true
@@charliecgreenwelljr8011 yup, we just gotta be more conscious 🙈
My wish list is to have a hoya bloom. Enjoyed the video!
Keeping my fingers crossed they will!! It's so cute when they do 🥹❤️
I have a variegated dragon scale but it’s put out white and yellow variegation. 1 aurea for every 2 white variegated. So weird but I love it.
@@dw146 oh wow thats sounds epic 😲 I'm crossing my fingers I'll be able to grab one next year 🤞
@ if it ever corms and you haven’t gotten one yet I’ll gift you one as a thanks for the entertainment while I’m doing plant chores. 😁
@dw146 bless your heart ❤️ and glad I was able to keep you company while doing chores 😄
Alocasia Dragon Scale var and the Anthurium King of Spades are both so high on my wishlist as well 😍

Nice concise list! Definitely attainable goals.
Fingers crossed I'll get to cross of at least a couple 🥰

Omgggg I know about the philodendron. I absolutely hate the stuck leaves. Whyyy do they do that 😂
Cause they love to be dramatic and difficult 🫠
My theory is they need more humidity. I take them into the bathroom when I shower
@@andreaportner1232 yup that's also part of it. Unfortunately by the time I noticed it the damage is often already done 🥲
