I really appreciate how you keep your neighbors view into consideration. Very thoughtful!
Your new editor is killing it.
Isn’t it amazing how long the little pallet walkway has lasted by the chicken coop? It still looks sweet and rustic! 💚💚💚
Love Laura's spontaneity in changing her mind about plant placement & possibly adding a pathway. Thank you for allowing us to share your creative process.
Good morning!
What a wonderful world you live in.
Feeding the fish, talking to the chickens, giving them treats and finding the wonderful eggs.
Along with your beautiful property and watching Chad transform into a great future planting.
You make my day.
Thank you
❤❤❤❤
Agreed!
Like the hedge around the "girls" coop. Love the way you enjoy every part of God's creation. Pollinators; plants, dirt, etc! You have such a discernment where each thing will look best and Aaron fills in with the logistics of it all!!
And chickens “the girls”
The fountain on the brick patio blows me away every time I see it. How impressed are you with the way it turned out? The abundance of it is just amazing. We are going to be doing that next summer in our front garden with an old cracked fountain base we found for free on craigslist. Thank you for always being an inspiration and an endless font of ideas. I don't know how you do it but I am grateful.
Wow! You are on the verge of having 2M subscribers! I can only see it growing and growing. You and Aaron have worked so hard to grow your channel, and it is becoming an "empire" 😅. I've watched your channel since Benjamin was a baby, and I love watching the kiddos grow up. ❤
We don't see the backside of the pond view often. I like it. 😊
It's a pleasure to accompany you as you plan and work. I wish we would have been blessed with someone like you 50 years ago. God bless all of you.
I just loved the sound the Koi Fish made when having their snacks. So cute with their big lips.
Yes! I was thinking, spin-off channel, koi ASMR? 😆
You are such a joy to watch every morning to start my day!!! Thanks Laura and Aaron!!!
I was thinking the same thing, a consistent bright spot in an often crazy world. I love your kindness Laura, watching you interact with your chickens and koi is so sweet.
So true I can’t watch until this time but I love ready the comments
Exciting times, Laura! Things are coming together. You are such a thoughtful neighbor, and I'm sure they appreciate you for that. But I think they're enjoying seeing everything evolving and looking so beautiful! Your chickens and fish are beautiful. They know you're a good person, they come right to you. Ahh, the country life...love it!
Why am I so happy to see Laura nursing plants back to health ?😃
I think it's because it makes it feel like she's one of us 👩🌾
Whatever you do, please don't remove the pallet walkway. I remember watching you do that. I absolutely love it!
Why is that my favorite garden answer memory???? I loooovvveee that pallet walkway
I made my own pallet walkway inspired by Laura, added a second one this year.
It was also one of my favorite memories, but it seems a little out of place now since all the surrounding plantings and structures have changed.
Maybe as other areas mature she’ll find somewhere else hidden to recreate it. Watching this garden transform is truly mind blowing!😊
@@Midwestmomvolunteer365I did too! 🌸
Love the pallet walkway! Agree _ please keep it!
Laura, I am so happy for your family. Your property projects are really coming together and looking gorgeous. Thank you for sharing your work with us. May God bless you in all things. ❤
I'm so excited for the Dream Stream! I love watching your planning out loud and sharing the process! Isn't it fun to have your Koi feeding from your hands now? Love love love that pond!
HOLY COW!! I don’t know how you can imagine the use of the blank space!🌸
That amazes me also ! I would not have known own where to start, I often think of that and what a wonderful job she and Aaron have done.
Your enthusiasm is contagious!!! I love how you get excited about your plantings. You’re a joy to watch and learn from.
Loved todays video! Especially when you stopped to feed the fish and the chickens!! Inbetween planting!
I would love to see Aaron give a tree tour this fall! He is a wealth of information and since planting so many I’d like to hear his thoughts after having them in the ground. I’d especially like to know the watering schedules and his reflections on planting height. Plus I think it would be neat to compare year to year as the trees mature.
Favorite type of video-love the updates!!!! Need a drone view soon too. 💚
Love that you are filling in the newest of your property. The pond lily is beautiful and the girls will enjoy their new plants around their coop.
I love how you talk through placement. . . it helps me. Thanks.
You have some of the most beautiful plants in your gardens!! I am constantly pausing and googling them. I want pretty much 1-5 of everything 😜🤣 I love it! Watching your projects is just so stinking fun!!
Am I the only one who flinches everytime Laura just drops plants on the ground. I try to be so careful and gentle with new plants. 😮
so fun to see changes going on everywhere.. your master plan must be filled to the brim with ideas! and i just love watching you scoot around in a gator full of plants deciding where to put them... fun seeing the fish and the girls, too... your happy videos make a great way to start the day!! 🥰❤thanks for the video!! 🥰❤
Everything is looking beautiful. The pond area is so peaceful and beautiful. Your videos are a joy to watch. Thank you for doing these. Have a blessed day everyone.
Laura, it so good to see the transformation in the landscape as add your magic touch with trees, bushes and perennials.
👍👍Two thumbs up for Aaron's mowing technique. The lawn looks like a topnotch golf course at the end of the video! 25:44 What a beautiful foreground for your home.
Good morning, Laura☕️Your property is stunning! The colors and textures just look so inviting and make you want to explore! Yay for Chad! That area is looking good. Have a Blessed Day 😊🐈🐈
Oh Laura, this area of your garden looks so beautiful. You always do such great work. Your chickens are so cute and friendly and their area is so great also. I really love seeing all of your garden area it is really so pretty and it makes me really want to be able to make my tiny yard look so pretty. Thanks so much Laura for this wonderful video that was a lot of fun watching, sending love and hugs, bye!! 🥰😘💕💜💜💜💜💜💜
The pond area gets more and more beautiful every time you film there. I’m excited to see what Ya’all do with the new land. Well done. Many blessings to you all. 💜🩷💚💚🦋🐝
That lily pond flower is the prettiest I’ve ever seen 😍
Vitex is a southern staple here in our Louisiana 8a and handles drought and heat like a champ. I lost a huge limb (yes, they are trees here) in our snow apocalypse a few years ago, but it still thrives. They bloom for us about two cycles in the summer, and they are pollinator magnets! Hope they bring you joy!
Yep! 👍 Here too in North Texas. 💙🐝🦋
Same here in NW Arizona zone 8b. I have 6 and getting 4 more. I love them!
Yes, they are trees in Arkansas too. I’m curious to see if they stay small in a different climate.
It was in Houston where we moved from too.
Love the work behind the barn. You should plant all your daylillies on the bank behind the red barn. I used them this way to hold banks in place on Construction jobs for NHDOT. They spread naturally and will cover that banking fast. Just a thought. Mary
I have a bank I need to shore up and day lillies I am tired of looking at: the ones that die off in early Aug. I can move them there. Win /win.
Thanks for sharing the progress of the area behind the barn. What a transformation. Exciting plans.
I always love how you take your time to pick out where you wanna place your plants. Wow everything is coming along great. All the new gravel roads.
Oh, just something to consider for the back of your barn where you've built it up and it has a big drop off, (and you've probably already thought about this, but just in case), be sure to put something there that will stop erosion. I know y'all don't get a lot of gully washers like we do, but it's amazing how fast ruts and wash out can happen. (forgive me, if you've already planned for that.)
I love that you planted the "clearance section-looking" puffer fish hydrangeas! So much of my garden is actually from the half off clearance rack, and it's so gratifying to see them bounce back the following year and look fabulous!
Everything is so expensive, it's clearance for me!
I can always tell when you film in the afternoon on a sunny day , things look a lot more washed out . Feels like I can’t get a good look . Hope this doesn’t come across as criticism. I’ll watch whatever you film , still learn a lot ! Thank you !
Good evening everyone!
I was here 8+ years ago when I came across a “how to pot” succulent and cactus video, and I was captivated! There have been plenty of informative videos providing a sense of “garden direction” that made me feel connected and part of a larger community.
It’s funny how life changes. You’ve went from planting on table tutorials to multimillion home/garden/homestead renovation videos. I may not be able to relate or connect or learn much anymore, but it’s nice seeing you build your paradise. :)
I love watching all the transformation you did in your garden and property...you and Aaron did it amazingly...so excited to see how your new property evolved and have planted soon❤❤❤
The vitex is one of my childhood favorites. My grandmother had them lining her fence in Arkansas. The smell is so nostalgic. ❤ I remember catching so many bees on those beautiful “southern lilacs” as my MawMaw called them.
I just discovered (and planted) one about 3 years ago. I’ve never seen or heard of it until now (NJ). 🌸
Afternoon Everyone 🥰
That big grey fish is like a small submarine! I think giant swathes of floral color are beautiful! I say go for it next year!
love you positive and happy attitude. you make the start of my day.. thank you
I have three beautiful Chaste Trees! They grow like crazy and the bees love them. This year the bumblebees took the area over. ☹️ I need a few Green Giants to give my neighbors something pretty to look at🤭
I have an old variety of Chaste tree, love full Sun and non stop bloom. Polinators definitely love them. I prun it every year. North Florida, now zone 9
I can't wait for Laura and her planting get to my place in western slope colorado. Laura takes over the world!
I'm near Dayton Ohio Laura 😂 Give me a call when you want to start 🌲🌺🐓🐓🐓🐸🦋🐌🐞🌹🏵🪷💐🌺🌼🌷🪻🌳🌾🍁🍂🐝🐝🐝💖🤔🤔😅😊
The pond looks much better, really clear. Love the fish.
Oh it looks good, Chad is doing a great job as always! Plants are beautiful and the chickens are cute. You need a few more, soon enough Benjamin will be a teenager and will eat everything in site😊 I can't believe he is going to be 7 next year in January 😮 So much fun to see them grow I am a very proud auntie 😍😊! Blessings 💞🙏🏻💞
So many beautiful plants and so many exciting projects in the works!! What a fun video!
So much fun watching everything going on ! Can’t wait to see what’s coming for the future!
Wow! Starting to see a lot more shade! It’s happening 🎉 🌳🌲
Your property is evolving so beautifully! Do I hear that Aaron will soon be doing some drone footage of it? Yes? 🥰
I bought a 'Shoals Creek' Chaste Tree, clearanced @ Home Depot, here in NE Arkansas Zone 7A. 3rd Summer this year and really took off. About 9 'H × 4' W. Died to the ground over the Winter. Thought it was a goner. Planted in Rocky Clay Soil. Drought Tolerant. Highly Recommend 😊
Wow, it’s amazing to see how much progress Chad has made behind the barn! The transformation of that space is impressive, and I can’t wait to see the high tunnels up and running. Your plans for the heirloom mums and other plants sound fantastic-I'm sure they'll thrive! Have you thought about any specific companion plants for the areas by the hydrangeas? Keep up the great work!
I love to watch you feed the fish. Amazing like a furry animal reacts to a snack. That is amazing!
The fish sucking sounds is so adorable 💓
fish kisses! LOL
I was kinda shocked when you panned the camera from the red barn to the other barn! Dang! That’s a long way! ❤❤❤
You know we just don't have any garden centers around here for such a great selection of plants like you have. We just have Home Depot and Lowe's. Always love seeing your videos first thing in the morning ❤❤
So very nice of you all to consider what your neighbors will see making sure they have nice landscape to look at.
SO.....not dirt; soil.....not a plant pot; cans....not sod; turf.....and I have learned so many plant and shrub names that when i go to a nursery now, I can ask for specific things and alot of the time, the workers dont know what im talking about until i say their "everyday" name....lol I love how smart im getting about gardening,,,lol finally...Im 70
Can't wait for another tour, everything is so lovely!
Planting that severe slope behind the red barn will be interesting. Something to control erosion, needs no maintenance, looks good and won't harbor mice, voles or garden destroyers! Will be watching this with great interest.
Beautiful as always. I love the spoiled girls ❤
I loved this video, how you just sidebar into feeding the fish and “the girls”!
LAURA TE FELICITO 👏 POR TANTAS BELLEZAS DE PLANTAS Y FLORES 💐 ❤❤AMO LA JARDINERÍA ME GUSTA MUCHO TUS IDEAS 🎉FANTÁSTICO 🎉
Oh my goodness ❤ watching you feed the koi. Like water puppies. 😂 their little sucking noises. 😊❤ I could watch that all day. Lol. Everything looks so beautiful ❤
Good to see progress on the north landscape. From blank slate to garden in a few years.😊
Good Morning! 🌻 I am excited for the area. I enjoy watching it develop into your vision! Listening to you describe the plants is making me think about what I want for the 2025 season! 😃💦🌿💙🪻💚
do you mean 2025 season.
Laura, why don't you consider a little running water for the chickens. A little stream like for them.❤
Hi, sissy! I love you! Have a blessed day!🫶🩷💕🤗🥰
💕 and seeing how you talk your self into changing places to plants 💕
I remember when you first built the chicken coop it had no shade at all and you had shade cloth and umberella and a sprinkler going so the girls stayed cool . It really looks great now and so full of natural shade and the girls seem very happy with their coop
Good morning. Laura Garden looks beautiful and thriving.
I've started a new flower bed in our backyard and its transforming nicely. You have definitely been an influence Laura. Also Aaron should be proud of me to know i have grown 2 peach trees from seed from some peaches from my tree. Not sure if they'll produce but i grew trees!! Just waiting for fall to plant them in ground!! Where i dont know yet😂 they're about 2 feet tall. Im very proud of them!!
What alot of activities going on there..such progress❤
😂 That is a rual traffic jam 😂 Just like at my house! Lots of love from Sweden 🇸🇪
Hi Laura, You and Aaron might consider documenting all of your gardens and info in a book. It would be a best seller. Also, Aaron's knowledge of trees would be helpful.
The pond lillies are so beautiful!
I am really impressed on how you guys can find videos of things mention long ago. You guys have a lot of good videos with lots of plants and information. How do you remember where it all is.
In the search bar of you tube you can search key words. For example, if you're curious about the butterfly bush you would type "Garden Answer butterfly bush" into the search bar and all of GA's videos about the butterfly bush will pop up. 🫶
Good morning!🌻🐝
EGGcellent video 😂. I’m very interested in seeing the chase tree over time. When the weather turns cold and you take us along antiquing … I’d love it if you’d go in search of sone pretty serving dish (crystal or silver or China) that you have a certain recipe that you want to serve the food in the new serving piece. Then take us through watching you make and present the food in that dish. Maybe something for Thanksgiving? Maybe a trifle or cranberry sauce recipe?
Everything is looking so good! Wonderful improvements!
Thank you for sharing the progress on the new property. I’ve been curious to see how it is coming along.
I think at one time you mentioned trying to find a local beekeeper to perhaps put some hives in your garden. With all the pollinators you have it would be such a win, win! ❤️🐝❤️🐝❤️🐝❤️🐝❤️🐝❤️🐝
I'm favoured, $30K every week! I can now give back to the locals in my community and also start my own Garden and planting journey. Always a joy to watch and learn from you. God bless America.
Please how do you do this?
I usually go with registered representatives. Renee Marie Harrison has the best performance history (in my opinion) and does offer 1v1 consultation to her capitalists which I think is amazing.
Wow.... She has really made good name for herself, she's also my account manage
Since meeting Renee Marie Harrison, I now agree that with an expert managing your portfolio, the rate of profit is high, with less risk.
I agree with you. I'm not here to converse for her but to testify just for what I'm sure of, she's trust worthy and best option ever seen.
Such a beautiful day in your garden! Thanks for taking us along❤ Did the eggs make it into the house?
Everything looks great! I planted a Puffer Fish last year. I am in love with it. I went to the 2024 Proven Winners Signature Garden and feel in love with the Little Quick Fire. I just planted that one in my video. Thanks for sharing with us.
How about doing a chicken coup refresh video!!?? You could power wash all of the walls, wood, corrugated ceiling, chicken wire with just water. Then you could scrape out their run and give them fresh bedding, etc. sweet girls!! ❤❤❤
The north area, especially around the red barn, looks amazing! Instead of thinking, "Ewww," behind the barn, it is now a nice, functional area. The gaura waving around that boulder looks enchanting. I have picked up some amazing plants from box stores' clearance areas (I call it "Sick Bay") and have always had them bounce back after receiving proper care. I loved seeing your caryopteris since I recently planted 2 flanking a path entrance. I never would have purchased them if I hadn't seen them in your previous video.
Wow you finally got the fish to eat out of your hands, great job!
I’m in zone 9 (Houston TX) and Chaste Trees thrive in our area. I planted two side by side because I wanted them as pretty shrubs. I forgot to cut them back one year - oh boy! 😂 They’ll reach 20’ easily if you don’t cut them back. And they’re gorgeous!!
It might be fun for the children if there are a couple of small bridges over the water scape if it's possible.
Wonderful progress ❤
Good morning all. The new space is going to be gorgeous. With that sharp drop-off at the back of the property, have you thought about steps to make navigating the property line easier?
As always, really loved your video and appreciate all the helpful info you give. Was thinking, as you showed him working, what Chad’s reaction is to the south garden. I remember all the work he did and bet he’s blown away with the changes you’ve made over the years!
My chaste tree is my favorite. I’m in zone 11 AZ. It blooms all summer long even in 125*!
