Thanks for that Richard, brought back memories as me and my son raced one in '94 '95. It was a great car! At the moment i'm patiently and hopefully waiting for Schumacher to release a classic version, one of these would go nicely with my rere Cougar and ProCat. 🤞
Yeah, i think there plan is to go as far as the cat 2000, but if there going to follow the time line we will see the bosscat in a few years. I really hope so as thats one car i want to drive again. I run mine once in a blue moon. Parts are impossible to find 😭
Love seeing these old Schumacher cars, thank you! Recently got a Cougar SV Pro Carbon in the collection, and I can't wait to stip it down and rebuild it.
Hello. In the following link you see my SV2 1:02 s Wondering if it is less important in Schumachewr history as the original SV ? Cheers. th-cam.com/video/Y4mySXo8LS0/w-d-xo.html
Nice looking 2000 :) good luck at the Schumacher challenge I’m sure it will go well. Give us an update on how it goes :) lovely stuff Richard, love your overviews you do on your buggy’s , insightful :)
And that my friend is how you should finish every video you do from this moment on,.. Thousand yard stare out the window before turning to the camera and saying ^^^^^ . Great content by the way, cheers and best wishes Andrew.
Awesome stuff Richard, love that bodyshell, especially the above cockpit air vent!! seeing all those different adjustment points they really were getting their game down, straight out the box to. Dare i say it, looks a bit Yokomo ish, - I've only seen online images and video footage from this era, when you talk of 2nd Gen, are you talking of track performance as well, a noticeable leap/gap? I have seen what footage there is on YT, but Pro drivers buggies always seemed to be next level, what about your average club level driver? like when my mates got their CATS went from D to B finals, left me with me Frog duking it out in the novice class lol, Christ i would of done anything for their hand me downs (Hotshot or Yankee Electra- which would you or chosen?) lol, cheers friend, all the best Andrew.
Yeah i think a few companies looked at yokomo and took inspiration, well why wouldnt you, they where kicking ass. Or do what tomy did with the intruder and pretty much just copy it 😂 i call it 2nd gen as it was a whole new car, uptill then the car just had improvements. But this was a new car from the ground up
@@lo2713 lol, wow, really?! Tomy did that, i remember the Intruder being advertised, never got to see one up close (or i don't remember) yet another great looking buggy.
@@MrFu75 yeah i went into my loac hobby shop to buy a 2nd dogfighter, it had sold that morning 😭 but they had just got the intruder in. So took one home 😁 luckly have one thats been raced twice now and another that needs a full resto. Just getting parts is slowing it down
That's a nice looking buggy Richard, thanks for sharing! Are there any big differences in handling between this and the Pro Cat? Good luck in the Schumacher Classic too, hopefully I'll give that event a go next year
Ive only driven it the once, so getting used to it, but it does seem a more capable buggy. But as spares are easy to get for the procat i drove that like it was stolen 😂
Hello. How did you fix the undertray protection cover? Glued or screwed or taped ? Thanks, mine is hanging down as it was screwed and the lexan broke in front.

Nice piece of history still running wild as my CAT does.
Cheers, its a great car to drive.
Very cool car! I really like the neat motor mount with the heat sinks on it, kind of a cool and functional thing! Hope you are feeling better!!
Cheers, colds suck 😭 but ive gotta just work through it, yeah its a great way of getting rid of heat. Luckly we dont really need then these days 😁
I always come last at Revival too 😢

Nice rig.
Love the 2000. So different from the 1st gen cars.
Yeah, i stopped racing when i had the bosscat works and cougar 2 works, so its great to be back in it and seeing how the cars advanced 😁
Nice rig Richard , my missing piece for the Schumacher club .
I love it 😁 there out there. But hopefully it will get a rere after the bosscat 🤞
Had one of these baby's as well, great car 🚗 👌
Yeah, i love it. Wish i had stayed in the hobby i would of had one after my bosscat 😁
