Not a chance. Best open is by far either parkour or my favorite ant traps. These are radon detectors. Lol
I think we can all agree that stress relief part 1 is the best cold open
@@floridaman1766 truly indeed
Bro the tv is like subway surfers or a family guy episode to keep you watching and in the meeting.

This show is a comedic genius
The way Pam immediately knows it was Jim that said it.
Because she would only tell it to jim obviously
@@deezingThey were several watching the cube, she must have tell it to all if them.
@@AnnJo-gq8gu no? Jim says 5hat Pam saw it when she was ALONE in the conference room.
@@deezing plus I don't think any character other than Jim would relay a Pam play-by-play to the cameras.
@@deezingShe probably told it to a lot of people and they didn't believe it but she knew Jim would be the only person who'd say that to the camera people
Michael being the most responsible guy in the room, that's the most odd part
Everytime i see him interacting with the others in the office he reminds me of a dad specifically mine😭😢
@@S1D3_1same
He's often the most responsible and focused on work. It's just that he's a moron and his focus is very shallow

This is the only time I've heard Micheal actually talk about work 😂
All he talked about was printing colored paper which is stupid and cost more and then he talks about adding a riddle. Something you have to look for.. so no he doesn't talk about work
FAX
I think he occasionally talks about work throughout each day. Its just not interesting enough for the documentary crew to film.
You think that this meeting is pertinent to work? Lol
And you know for a fact if he realized what they were actually reacting to, he'd happily join in

That is by far the funniest part. The fact that they just stood up and walked.

This is the kind of office worth working where you can just get out of a meeting when you don't want to continue anymore.
for real i was dying when i watched this for the first time 😂
Yeah man i love him so much
I like how Michael lets everyone leave without his permission because he thought they were listening to him. This show is still so good to this day.

Wow, very educational. Teaches you how dysfunctional the world can be.
Almost as eye opening as "reading" National Geographic magazine. Lots of good articles about native tribes mostly from Africa where the women are topless. Quite educational for elementary school boys.

It's just so satisfying!
Has anyone here seen it? I never have
@@CrackedCandy I saw it once, but it was at a friend's place since my mother didn't do TV.
This reminds me of where I used to work decades ago, we had a laptop computer with that old windows pipe screensaver and when it would activate-- several of us would watch for the coffee pot that would occasionally spawn at the junctions. It was oddly satisfying, so I can totally relate to this concept. Finding joy in the unexpectedly amusing little things that you can share with others in your life.
This is the first clip I ever saw of the office and I was sold instantly. Changed my life
Dang i miss watching the office

It’s on Peacock!
I basically never stop watching it. Finish, start over.
@@mercian9425 this is the way.
Netflix is super cheap. Yes it never stops showing The Office. From season 1 Episode 1 to the end in order.
Until I saw this scene I had no idea anyone else did that. This is honestly my favorite bit in the show
I did 😂
It's the little things that teach us... we're all the same... Not that this is a big part of life but I feel everyone goes through this kind of "stupid entertainment" like it's just a logo on a tv screen but when things line or sync up we find that satisfying in a special way.
This and raindrops on car windows and pretending they're having a race. Maybe lots of other things as well but I can't recall right now.
I swear to God we are all the same people at heart. I did not know everybody else was doing the same as me. Does anyone know what's this phenomenon called? It's amazing.

This is just a universal human delight.
I remember having that DVD thing & waiting for it to do that as a kid in the 90s. I never knew that was an office bit, but I saw the one at the stadium & it was so wholesome that everyone at the stadium understood the assignment too.
It's a universal thing that the office made a bit off, I guess.
We've had it too.
Love the one in which Jim is doing the impression of Dwight 😂
My favorite part is that Michael still got to feel good about the meeting
Kevins inspirational "You gotta belive"
I learned that from the lego movie

Easily the most relatable Office cold open…
The day this happened at assembly in year 8 at my high school, the principal was giving a speech after they put a dvd on and it went to the dvd bouncing screen...
It hit the corner within a minute..
The whole school erupted in a cheer like nothing ive ever seen...
Ill never forget that ❤

The fact that the dvd screen isnt forced to go to the corner, and just natural is legendary

Jim and Pam are so great together. I love them!
"Some days I am just on fire, what I can say" 😄

Pam getting so heated about the Box and Michael being out of the loop was just perfect!
That is my second time seeing it. This is a true once in a lifetime experience that you can witness firsthand.

That cube on screen is such a blockbuster! Definitely would watch it again.
Just this moment and idea is iconic
the box not hitting the corner used to destroy me as a kid
Watching that Win 95 screensaver hit at the corner was literally the only reason to have a screensaver
A while ago at camp, some lady was trying to give a lesson but everyone was looking at the tv behind her. The bouncing square hit the corner and everyone went crazy. It was just like this scene, she thought we just really liked what she had said😂
lmao wake up dude
Can confirm, i was the square
And then everyone clapped
Michael is so pleased with himself at the end too lmao
While Michael was talking about the idea of "where is Waldo", this is where the Golden Ticket idea was brought and the whole office approved by clapping and cheering. Magical!
Michaels confidence has never been so high
Funny story, I once chaperoned a group of middle school kids on a trip, and on the way back the bus had screens displaying the DVD logo as such.
So I started counting from 1 to 4 for every bounce, cause I grew up with these screens, waiting till it hit the corner.
One of the kids asked me what I was doing (these are ipad/streaming kids so they didn’t have DVDs), I explained and he started counting with me.
After that the kids behind us asked us what we were doing, and so it went on until I had the entire bus counting down till the logo hit the corner.
It was wild when it finally did. I actually felt kinda proud teaching the kids the ways of their ancestors.
Your caveman ancestors, who hunted mammoths and struggled for warmth in the winter. Who had hardship farming crops and died during childbirth. They look upon you. They see you teaching these small ones the ways from the before times... And they all give you a simple gesture of 'The Nod.' Be proud. For you have done them proud.
@@theinfinitestoryline7588it's people like you that bring me to the comment section. Be proud.
It's the perfect ritual of an OCD person, watching that beautiful logo finally hit the corner, where it's meant to be
One of my old teachers made the mistake of leaving it on, and she was giving a lecture if I remember correctly, and she got so mad because next to no one was focusing on her, and even more mad when it hit the corner
How old are those kids, streaming is barely 5 years old
"What can I say" is so funny
One time me and my friends were on mushrooms way back in the day, and we spent like an hour watching the dvd logo, waiting for it to go into the corner like this. This cold open holds a special place in my heart.
I swear this is the only time micheal talks about work and they are distracted but when they work he distracts them🤣🤣
This was one of my favorite Office moments.
I love when Pam says I saw it with clenched teeth
i swear Michael Scott is the best comedy character of all time
Kramer…..
He really isn't.
George....
Barney Fife?
Michael Scott or Chandler Bing.
Michael thinking that their reactions are to what he’s saying is comedy gold 😂.
Rainy days in junior high when we were still told to go outside for recess, we got to stay inside and we would watch this the entire time we could’ve watched TV, but we chose this waiting for it to hit the corner perfectly
This reminds me of being in high school English class and after a few weeks, noticing how everyone kept counting. They seemed to be paying attention to the teacher -- but also, not paying attention. "Thirty two.... thirty three!" So I ask, them, what are you guys counting? "How many times she touches herself." And all this time she probably felt like we were really excited to learn about noun-verb agreement.
It's an amazing feeling to watch it hit the corner, my teacher had a similar TV, and when there was no movie to watch, we would just watch the bouncy thing.
I thought it was only me. But it is comforting to know that we are all in this together.
Facts 🫶🏽🔥🔥
😂
I love how micheal is trying to have a serious meeting and they’re all just watching the cube on the screen 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I think this is the most wholesome opening
My personal favorite is when Jim is sending Dwight letters from Future Dwight and tells Dwight the coffee is poisoned, lol.
