- Before anyone asks, YES, I knew the lord regent would kill me. I've been told that about 300 times. I thought it'd make for a better story if I let him kill me, simple as that. I hope you enjoyed this video, it's one of the good ones!

seeing eclipse slowly getting better and better at deepwoken as someone who played the game on a regular basis for more than a year or two is honestly satisfying, it makes you feel like you're on this journey with him again like you did when you first started the game

finding a dread serpent at boatmans watch isnt really uncommon, that boss is so incredibly buggy and inconsistent that it sometimes just washes up on the shore of random ass islands
Na the reason hes usually there is because people spawn it there with ardour manifestation because u can kill it from the island without being hit

A thing I love about deepwoken is how it didn't need to add voice lines to Dishamon Erisia yet Naktigonis not only did it, but each word was delivered perfectly, you can see his seriousness crack, revealing his destroyed mental fortitude as he says "and you are what?".
funny thing is, the duke dialouge was on naktigonis's twitter long ago, they just never added it.
please do more of these videos. the current deepwoken community and content creators are stuck in a weird kind of echo chamber, and these are such a nice breath of fresh air
Started playing deepwoken because of the primadon video, mixed feelings but I mostly like it when I'm not getting ganked on or murdered by sharkos (I suck)

You should try doing the lone warrior origin. At least until you can beat the angels. After I could do that I became much more better at deepwoken and could progress further.

Well he showed at the end, the bonekeeper, so i think he will do layer 2 next time finishing the series, but after layer 2 there is a possibility that Eclipse will do something like "still looking for the answers about lord regent" and eventually get to maestro
I mean he didn’t do maestro yet but he might make layer 2 last last but I feel like maestro should be last that order sounds better because once he does maestro we will have to wait for the story line to continue further so then we can get ready for the fight of lord regent

PLEASE keep doing this story-telling-like video, they're really interesting and actually got me interested in the lore of deepwoken, whether that was your goal or not.
Fun fact a corrupt mudskipper broodlord has 18,5k health. More than some endgame bosses.
Also you can turn your sails in according with the wind. You can see the direction of the wind by looking at the flag on top of the ship.
Truly worthy of the title "Big Skippa, The Freshie Grippa."

@@EclipseGameplays It's somewhat annoying, but you could move the mantra/semimantra that you have on your hotbar as z/c into your inventory (a temporal solution while sailing)
The next things on the bucket list now are Maestro, Dread Serpent, and layer 2. It's really satisfying seeing eclipse being passionate and on a game that does well for his channel.
And by the way, the reason you struggled so much with the Ferryman is because his bossfight stands out from the other ones in a unique way.
He has the most bossfight-like fight in the game, requiring you to follow specific repeated patterns, unlike other bosses that have ways of going through your focus.
As the ferryman himself says, that is more a dance than a fight.
It follows a specific pattern with some rules, and the ferryman has some rules in him movements as well.
He reacts based on how you move around the battlefield.
In the Javelin attack, he will always teleport away when you approach him.
The lightning strike attack, he will always stand still during and after the attack (for longer in phase 2).
The lightning assault, it's a 50/50 wether he lets you hit him or not.
The lightning clones, he stands there for a short period of time before teleporting away.
Also the ferryman's damage can be negated by putting him in hitstun.
Hitting him will prevent his attacks from dealing damage, kind of like with real players.
actually he doesn't tp away from you if you parry the whole attack, it doesn't apply to the rain or the clones but it applies to everything else (even grand javelin)
I really liked this more narrative/storytelling type of video, very fun to watch, keep it up!

Ngl I'm kinda envious of your experiences first fighting these bosses XD. I'm assuming that you likely went into fighting them without watching lots of tutorials/delving deep into the wiki/getting too much help from others, all of which I received or did when I first attempted bosses. I suppose doing that removed the more explorative and storylike aspects of the bossfights, but it's really nice to watch someone who gets to experience the full thing!

@@RetroL_StreamsI’m not saying he didn’t look anything up at all, but he most definitely had a lot less prep than I did. I watched too many tutorials and practiced with friends so many times before finally attempting duke by myself

I'm pretty sure he has had attunement unlock in one of the previous videos so his friends probably helped him out on the Duke or Ferryman or whatever on one of his previous slots

Just putting this out, don't berate me but I really love this and the primadon video. I've never played deepwoken but your way of storytelling, aka "a deepwoken story" gets me really intrigued and invested in the game, it's mechanics, how it looks, and the story.
All I'm saying is, love the video a ton and I hope you continue making them.
These deep vids are so good compared to all the other build vids or progression vids. The story telling is amazing, the way that you intentionally add things to make you're own sort of story to entertain the viewer is just too good. Keep up the deep vids they are actually very engaging to watch.

you should make a contractor slot, the story is a really fun expansion on the duke quest (try to be aligned with the ministry in an account, and then do the duke quest, after that you might have to search some stuff up because its really complicated, and you are gonna have to get some information from sources that are hard to talk to)
theres also another expansion to the duke quest, with the maestro, you should be able to check it out on that slot if you have around 80 weapon

I’d like to give you a tip for ferryman and that is when he does his lightning strike attacks if you attack him during that attack it won’t damage you. Also just always chase him down and parry his lighting dashes to get the most damage applied to him

when eclipse was writing this script he probably felt like that one meme where this guy is writing on a piece of paper which is on fire
The difference between the bonekeeprr and the duke, the primadon, ferryman and etc, is that the bosses youve fought were made in verse 1, om deepwokens release, bonekeeper was made in verse 2 when the game was already fully developed and with better devs and understanding in difficulty, that might be why you struggle with bonekeeper more due to its funky animations and weird patterns. (You got this tho if you can solo prima ferryman and duke you can definitely do the bonekeeper)

With my come back to yba to see if it was still the thing it was (yes) i also came back to this channel to see what's going on. play aot freedom war, it’s not a bs roll for good family game and it actually needs skill. it goes thru the season 1-3 storyline. also, you can be a warrior and hide your identity until the reveal.
fun fact: I managed to climb lord regents place and enter from above at power 1 and got one shot with the contractor mantra judgement for "tress passing"

It was hype but in return, a hell hole. Deepwoken had mechanics that were BAD bad back then. Good thing those were changed
Imma just say it, missing the hype phase is nothing, usually after it the game gets better, if you want to be playing on another "hype phase" keep am eye out on "deepwoken conquest" (major update that we dont really know what it will add besides a league of legends like mode and some other small stuff)

The first day was tough as I had wiped 4 times from bandits and players, but eventually (after a lot of wiki searching) I reached power level 16 and I'm looking to test out the duke and nautlilodaunt. Still can't get the fear of wiping out of my head though lol

By the way eclipse, Beating duke and having 80 or more points into your weapon will let you fight the maestro at vigils, He has the same hp as duke but you can only fight him one on one, If you want to win, play aggressive to keep him blocking, as he will play very aggressively if you arent putting on pressure, as well throughout the fight, he teleports to a random spot around the arena when he loses enough hp (around 5k)
People will summon dread serpent at boatman’s watch as an easy way to no hit a boss and then get chain of perfection
Souls type games protagonists: Kills literal gods, legends, and mythical creates.

I honestly love how he makes the story of what he thinks it's like. But I guess he doesn't really need to know how it works :)
Ferryman doesn't even get defeated the way you don't get to grip him, he just gets satisfied with your performance and ends the battle hence why he spawns in the middle

Utilize the G key more, it makes it so you push enemies back (venting) but just at the cost of some tempo. So if you get stuck in a stunlock scenario just use it

its an oath you get by completing the duke quest and having positive ministry reputation (the real reason lord regent killed you) and doing an elaborate quest needing you to get bell and talk to yun shul and going all the way back to lord regent
i suggest you do this on a new slot as you seem to have already screwed up by being hunted by the ministry

Try talking to the guy crying in a corner at Isle of Vigils. Doing his request might prove valuable when talking to a man in the training hall across from the sparring guy.
When you are fight a golem or any other enemy that attacks alot very fast you can m1 while parrying. When you parry the golems spin attack you get auto parry frames, so you don't have to manually parry, which is why you can m1 while doing it. Keep click F and m1 fast (Recommend holding the mouse button because it is easier)
eclipse is adapting to deep so god damn fast holy shit. solo'd duke, prima and the ferryman and was able to take on a corrupt broodlord.

Eclipse did 4 Deep videos in the span of 2 damn weeks, when ya got a good game and a good content creator it makes the best videos and deep is one of the best games on roblox and eclipse is one on my favorite Creators so not much to comment.
