I love traditional Japanese food especially miso soup , and as a person that doesn’t like cooking that much I like that some these foods are simple to prepare like miso soup with rice and fish with veggies. One day I’ll get myself to try natto too
I’m glad I discovered this channel among all those TH-cam videos. The way you guys record and the narrative are so soothing and inspiring. I’ll be in Japan in 2025/06 and I’m very excited to know this healthier lifestyle. Hugs from Brazil. 💕🇧🇷
Cool video. It brings up important things like food, diet, physical activity that's integrated to daily living, sense of community. The shinrin-yoku (森林浴) mentioned was interesting too. There was a 2019 National Geographic article written about it. It's a practice as simple as walking around in any natural environment and consciously connecting with what's around you.
I enjoyed this summary and especially the beautiful footage from Japan. I look forward to visiting soon. I suspect the cultural emphasis on attention to detail also plays into the resulting health they experience. When we infuse meaning and gratitude into daily habits, it enhances the quality of both our decisions and our experience of life.
This video is a perfect example of people presenting personal opinion as "fact". Someone already commented on suicide rates....then, there is highest rate of stomach cancer...so much for healthy cuisine. Australian longevity rates, as per WHO are only marginally below Japan, yet lifestyles couldn't be more different. So where is the "truth"
@@NekohamaSometimes it's ok to address the issue instead of being blind by replying such superficial positivity through comments. We can be kind and respectful without ignoring the real issues. Some can be healthy and some can fail to follow the tradition.. it's ok.
The truth is Japan has for decades the higher longevity rate than Australia, despite all the confounding factors. So Japan is the better model for longevity, not Australia. Until Australia can ever get the higher rate for decades, then no need for resentment against Japan. Although as Australia keeps getting Americanized in its diet and lifestyle, then the obesity and shorter lifespan rate will only get worse..
They aren’t really - only some of them are - the rural okinowans (can’t spell it opps). People from Tokyo and the other big cities do not have an unusual average lifespan and exhibit the same western causes of ill health (cancer, diabetes, heart disease, etc).
Hi😀, Is Nekohama fairly produced and traded? And what does Nekohama do to combat the huge problem of pesticide poisoning, slavery and bad working conditions that dominate world tea trade? It's a reason I only buy 100% organic and fair trade, the people making my tea should have the same rights as I do. Thanks🙋🏼♀️🌼
@@Nekohama Thank you! Just to clarify my comment wasn’t meant to be judgmental. Just dealing with a lot of envy these days due to some current scarcity. I enjoy your content!❤️

Safe Travels!!! Have a beautiful time.🤗💝
Thank you! Will do!
In 2019 Japan had the second highest suicide rate among the G7 developed nations.
Searching only for negative
Some of these comments are so random and not irrelevant to the video 🤨

Truely beautiful and pretty. Can you share recipes of Japanese culture?
Junko fruta??
This is video how films ,o my god !!!
To a degree they are but they still suffer from fatigue, over work and they have a high suicide rate
They need to revitalize balance.
So, what about the suicide forests?

I disagree! Mediterranean diet, is the best in this planet!
🙄 Do yourself a favour and google "blue zones" and "Okinawa+diet+longevity". You're welcome.
But most of them unhappy.stress, lonely

The work culture is a lot different to ours, and the drive to succeed and not feel like you failed your family
NONSENSE. Only Okinawa s have long lifespans. Total BS video

Agree. bS video and too much hype about japan
Why is their population going down and why do they need Black men all of a sudden🤔
Nothing to do from health.
@@1027HANA-lc5ke I'm pretty sure they needed a MINISTER of WEALNESS during Covid so who knows what is going on🤔
