Al Jazeera, please never change. Every single news outlets when reporting this news, in their 3 minutes piece only show a few seconds of sound bites from this conference, and the rest they impose their own opinions and words to affect viewers. Only you Al Jazeera, stay true to the meaning of "news reporting." You report. I just want to show my appreciation.

Obvious the Western medias are never enthusiastic of the truth, they are used to editing, manipulating, sensors and blackout, suppressing and selling propaganda to the mass.
That's why I stopped watching news long time ago after realising how we are being fed with lies, propaganda and nonsense and only invited puppets and who without any question will support the narrative.
1 example is how they demonize Tramp when he asked tough question.
Trump manage to neutralize global terrorism, from barbaric ISIS to Boko Haram to Al Shabaab within a year in office but no one ever acknowledge that. Today we are safe simply because all resources is concentrated in Ukraine Russia war. All think tank and master of crafting propaganda are busy demonizing Putin.

Lol well done Qatari funded Al Jeezera, for showing a readily available video where a ridiculous brow beaten wannabe statesman defends a tournament in a country that was bought by petro money to the detriment of other countries that would have been much more deserving hosts. Stadiums half empty after 60 minutes, "fans" shipped in from Lebanon and funded to cheer on (ie don't criticise) streets deserted on game mornings. Qatar have more money than sense, god help us if Saudi get 2030

    • @mansoormannix1753

No problem, U.S hosted the tournament in 1990, what is so special about them hosting the tournament twice in my lifetime while England the home of modern football and the football powerhouse. U.S.A doesn't even identify football as football but soccer while their rugby they referred as football if that is not an insult..
People want to demonize Qatar for hosting this tournament for absolutely no any reason a part from showing their stereotyping attitude.
Anyway, who cares, Qatar has successfully host the tournament without asking anyone any help.
When Brazil hosted the world cup they use billions of dollars while 70% of its citizens are jobless and lives below 2 dollars a day.
Same to South Africa but no one question their importance of hosting a tournament while their citizens cannot afford 3 decent meals.
What moral the U.S have to host the tournament, for decades they have massacred tens of thousand innocent civilians in middle east, their history is full of darkness for deliberately killing Indians inorder to possess their natives lands, they tortured millions of slaves for almost more than 400 years. If U.S has money to build weapon of mass distruction and sophisticated war machine inorder to invade any vulnerable Country then what is wrong Qatar using their natural resources to host sports entertainment?
When Saudia sponsored WWE no one question their human rights abuses and extrajudicial killing, but Iran should be removed from tournament in favour of Ukraine. What is special about Ukraine that is not matter for Iraq, Afghan and Syria?

@@hotdog9262 Relevance: Imperialistic oppression from foreign countries hindered the social and economic growth of the colonies. You can not aspect the same level of cultural and societal growth in a country 50 year-olds vs. a country 500 years olds. Look at the condition of the African Americans and natives/aboriginals in the US and Australia. Are they at the same cultural and economic development level as the rest of the US and Australia? Answer: No.
I will give you another example: Before the British colonized India, it accounted for 24.4% of the world's GDP; after Britain left, it fell to 4.2% of the world's GDP. By recent estimates, Britain looted over $45 trillion from India. Today if Europe and Britain expect the same economic and cultural prosperity from India. Whose fault it is that India is not economically and culturally developed, India's or Britain's? And don't let me start on the illegal wars the West has been waging in that part of the world in the last 50 years.

for some reason they count food production that is not exported as wealth, which obviously is complete bs. ofc then wherever there is more people/food production automatically is considered `rich`
sure india indeed had some valuable products, though the british effectively exported these products the whole planet..which would have happened to a much lesser degree if india ruled themselves
this ofc were wrong in todays standards. but the point is, you can`t blame this on people living today

Why European and Western media criticize Qatar: Qatar is a very small country and it is their first World Cup appearance, host country Qatar is almost unknown in football.. Europe hates such a country to host WORLD CUP.. This is another reason.. Media can criticize deaths and human rights of migrant workers in Qatar.. The truth always hurts

Haha i agree with you, It’s funny when the preachers want to be righteous by lecturing morale about Qatar, medias only telling half truth that will sell stories more interesting to fuel anger of those countries that failed got World Cup event to hate Qatar more. I live in Qatar since 2011, and this country is decently treating expatriates. Those deaths if due to work accidents, Employers has to pay around USD 60,000 to the family. Its all through Embassies of the expatriates and court. When western media Said 6500 death during 10 years, i want to laugh looking at their data. What is breakdown of that number that they come up with. Will expatriates with heat stroke (which is very often in middle east) consider as work accident? Will the natural death consider as work accidents? If 6500 death work accidents during World cup in Qatar was true, Insurance Company in Qatar will gone broke. 😂

@@murungihenry9579 you still can go to your Embassy if your employer violate you. In normal situation, no one is really suffering in Qatar, unless you have dispute with your Employer or Bank Loan, leave country and come back with other employer.

Yes the president of FIFA are correct about the company ownership are from western, Europe, and other from Asian who are not really paying the migrants workers honestly only for the benefits of the company. But most of us here working in Qatar are happy that FIFA world cup held here now we are on volunteer to help the event be successful. Thank you president for your concern of all the issues nice one appreciated God bless

I've been here working for 5 years in the construction and I know the Qatari nationals are taking care of the migrants workers, when we are working on the road qatari will stop and give us food, drinks and fruits. They have laws on health and safety for workers to be implemented and what are those foreign companies own does bringing their bad attitude and unsafe practices to Qatar and let the workers do.

We are all one people and I think nothing should divide us as human, but sadly many people do not like to see the world unite. I can say we the blacks are the most victims of discrimination, but it's my own that I know, when others explain their, it will be more than blacks. How can a world make progress in such a manners and forms. Everybody is somebody. I'm deeply touched by the speech.
