    In Pakistan and India they have been mixing it like this for many years. I would do it myself in my home, it’s very common. If you need a brighter color, put black tea water in the mixture.

    I used to work in a sushi restaurant and we would have to mix up wasabi powder into a paste every morning. It looked exactly like this except it was chemical warfare and everyone in the kitchen would be crying

      I never mixed wasabi but i used to work a place where we had to handle concetrated jalapenos and I legitimately had to be pulled from that spot in the place because it triggered an asthma attack for me every single time. Spices and peppers can be no joke sometimes.

      🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 first time my husband tried to cook for himself he made home made pepper spray by putting a chicken breast covered in spice into a searing hot dry pan. I woke up coughing eyes watering sneezing boogers everywhere trying to open up all the windows thru burning eyeballs

But I have severe health issues and we don't take every tomorrow for granted. So I've been trying to make sure he's set and can take better care of himself now (if I unexpectedly depart) than when I married his skinny little self back in the day! 🤣 I'm definitely going to share your story with him as a cautionary tale. I often forget how many things I do intuitively in the kitchen! 🤣

      Well, if she gets it on her hair that is just a little mishap and it might stain her hair. She wears gloves to prevent her hands from staining so it's alright

    Could you do more videos on how to make the tip of the cone really small . I’ve started doing henna , know how to mix it but don’t know how to make the cones or pipe the designs really well . Help please

      Here in India, we just make a closed cone with plastic circles (or any shape is fine as long as you're following a good closed cone making tutorial) and then cut the tiniest bit off of the tip with scissors. Easy peasy :P

    Yup this is how I mix mine. So much easier, nothing extra to wash and you can feel for your perfect texture along the way. Also wish there was smellavision lol henna is my favourite smell!

    I think you should use glass bowl for henna at least that’s what my grandma used to say

      You’re correct, unless it’s stainless steel. I only ever use glass just in case. I was very surprised I had to scroll this far down to find someone say something!!

      I only know this because I'm a hairstylist, and most chemical hair colors contain metallic salts so most people with henna on their hair can't have a chemical hair color service done, but henna + metal creates a chemical reaction that puts off extreme heat.@@mustima7547

    For me, doing anything with my hands feels better. Might be that I'm seeking for sensory inputs but idk whenever I'm baking something I'd rather not use the mixer (which is also too loud for me) and go with a spatula or a fork before going with my hands

    You can use a mixer because they won’t react with the henna since they aren’t iron. Much faster.

      Looks like it was mostly essential oil and lemon juice. There was something solid that looked like sugar but I'm unsure there. But generally, you mix henna with oil and a gentle acid (like lemon juice)
