Thanks Nelson! And interesting that you get more punch from this one. It's a great fragrance and really different to the other Truefitt Cologne's in the range...did you like the way I dropped the 'Oillataguerre' at the start?🤔
Yes, love Spanish Leather🧡 This was my very first introduction to T&H and fell in love instantly....awesome choice Walt, thanks for jumping into the conversation, great to hear from you
Great to hear from you Edward. All the T&H cologne’s are designed to be fresh, barbershop style of fragrance’s, with the intention that they can be worn all year round. The ‘warmest’ in notes would be Apsly, with the pepper and Vetiver combo…but even this is ‘fresh’ as a Fall/Winter fragrance. If you give me an idea of your budget, I can put forward some recommendations that would be perfect for the cooler months.
Does it make sense to use different fragrances when shaving? for example does it defeat the purpose to use the 1805 shaving cream and the Trafalgar aftershave? Would it cover up the smell? Or is it better to use the same fragrance after shave and cream so the smell can last?
I don't think that this is a problem. The shaving cream scent is very subtle; in my opinion it's there more to enjoy the experience of shaving (because of the beautiful scent), rather than to perfume the skin. Afterwards I normally choose any fragrance that I'm in the mood for that day.....but it does also make for a nice experience to use the same fragrance for the whole shaving/after shave experience So in the end, do what you feel on the day😬😇 Great to hear from you Richard; good luck with your life goal of owning them all!!!😉
Whoa that’s a serious goal Richard💫😎 you’ll be able to not only cover every winter but every summer too💫 Good luck with that! Actually is you love these guys; did you see this? th-cam.com/video/v2yJUSskUIg/w-d-xo.html This is to help you with your goal😉
Hey there @No One; I haven't come across Accoutrements platinum eau de toilet....I just had a look now and yes, I can see that they seem to be similar to the Truefitt and Hill line up. This looks like it's a US company. Here in Australia we don't get a lot of the US brands. Would love to know your thoughts on this range...clearly something that you love?
Great to hear from you Brad, so happy that you found the channel💫 All the fragrances within the Truefit & Hill lineup have a barbershop brightness to them (barbershop is there DNA) In my opinion there is no similarity at all to Tuscan leather…. Which is much more deeper leather scent. Hope that helps, Great to hear from you
@@bradd5961 Great to hear from you Brad. I always admire you guys who blind buy....not something that I venture into (what if I don't like it!!!). Is there any way that you could test first? The 2 are very different fragrance's. I don't own Tuscan Leather but from what I know it's a much deeper leather scent plus it's a eau de parfum so it's going to last a lot longer with a much strong sillage and projection. Whereas Spanish Leather is an eau de cologne (so only about 2-5% oils) will last a lot less and works well as a body scent. This one is vibrant, fresh even though it does have a slight leather undertone. As mentioned, if you test you can see how these play on your skin plus how you perceive them. Anyway, hope that helps a little. Good luck with this Brad👊🏽
@@bradd5961 Ah, another Aussie👊🏽 Truefitt & Hill have a gorgeous store in the Queen Victoria building on George St...you should check it out, it's amazing. This will give you a chance to test out the fragrance's. Plus you'll be able to find Tuscan Leather at Myers and you can now compare side by side....good luck mate!!
Because these are eau de cologne I tend to spray a little bit more. Between 4 to 5 sprays on Apsley. I find that this one does last a bit longer on my skin than the other ones from Truefitt & Hill, approx 5hrs
Great to hear from you Julio and this one I know 😎 Musk Khabib is amazing, beautiful choice...would like to send you a private message; any chance that you can connect with me via instagram (@nfc.perfumes)? If yes, then send me a DM and I'll respond. Thanks again Julio👊🏼
Love this fragrance! I find the silage to be more than a body scent and it projected fairly well

T&H Spanish Leather Cologne is a favorite of mine

Its my favourite in the range
Sounds nice as I'm a vetiver fan. So long as the pepper isn't to strong this sounds like a good one. Thanks!
Pepper is pretty strong😬….If you like a smooth vetiver, check out The Inimitable William (this one is awesome)

I can see that you're going to end up having the full collection😎....nice work Alan💥
I have a goal of buying every soap, cream, and after shave they offer. Once I do I'll have enough to last me for a thousand Winters.

Great video. Just discovered the channel. Re the comment abour Spanish Leather, how does it compare to Tom Ford's Tuscan Leather?
