Carlos received a reward for the Olympic title directly from the state, and many sponsors support him. That’s why he won’t betray his country. But he is right about the federation. The last three presidents have only accumulated debts and do nothing for the other athletes. For example, some of our European champions in weightlifting work as construction workers on sites to earn money.
Hey Seb. Concerning your question about records in 3 weight classes without the restructuring we’ve had a couple times; David Rigert did it legitimately in the 82.5, 90, and 100kg classes in the mid/late 1970s.
Bulgaria has its greatest lifter in at least a full generation don’t pay him and want to shake him down for sponsorship that he has obtained on his own. That’s twisted. Bulgaria is lucky Karlos loves his country and is able to separate these administrative Aholes from the country and the people he represents. I love Yousefi. He’s been my favorite Iranian since the 2019 Jr worlds when he did 172-225 for 3rd place a month or 2 before he turned 16!!! He was huge even then weighing more than 150 kg. He’s got the Jr record at 246 but I thought he’d be closer to the senior record by now. Can’t get enough of Rostami I hope he keeps at it till he’s 40. It’s odd the Chinese produce excellent women supers but lag in men’s supers.
175kg c&j at 15 years old, that's crazy... Pro weightlifters strength is so far from regular people, they shouldn't even count as the same species... I was proud to be the first guy in my area to bench press 90 kg at 16, but that's so far from that... Just few hours ago I watched a Bulgarian interview (on youtube) with Karlos and there he said that he was able to jerk 150 kg from a stand, aged 12!
I wonder if Bozhidar Andreev is facing the same issues? It’s not fair that neither the athletes or coaching team don’t get paid. Surely Government or Federation authorities should look into this?
Kosovo is not an internationally, officially recognized state, but an integral part of the Republic of Serbia. Among the countries that do not recognize Kosovo as an independent state is the Republic of Iran. This will certainly have a lot of influence regarding the transfer of Rostami. The comment does not have any political character, but exclusively informative, and all with the aim of clarifying the potential problems due to which Rostami will probably not be able to complete the mentioned transfer. Great episode, as always.
also, Zakharevich held records in the 90kg-110kg categories, not all at once, the 90kg records got wiped, but to this day, Yuri is the best 100, and 110 of all time. 440, and 455 respectively
What it have to do with the topic? Kosovo and Serbia have been Bulgarian for 1000 years, and today the Albanians have invaded Kosovo because they are more numerous.

Great diet advice,
Those are more than just free-standing handstand push-ups, those are a deeper range of motion because he's on parallettes haha that is badass of him
Thanks sir: I appreciate your videos.

Imagine Karlos Nasar moving to Georgia. That'd be a blast.
Yuppi. Which Georgia- Georgia with Lasha or Georgia USA with Hamp the champ. I opt for the 2nd choice.
Italy 🇮🇹 that would be funny
Italy will have him opening at 185/225 🥲

I can't wait for Kianoush to compete again, Jinju was a disaster xD
Guy laughs at Nasars diet, Karlos laughing inside knowing thats what it takes to be the best
So it must have been Alireza who cleaned 280kg from blocks a while ago
I can see it. That kid is monstrously huge and strong.
All this while natural. Amazing.
Ibanez is 81kg

When you're on roids you naturally need a higher protein intake though
you'd need to be an actual elephant to synthesize 500+ grams of protien in a day
Benjamin is a 109 as of last year
That Bulgarian situation seems awful. Hope it doesn’t affect Karlos’ training
his diet is stanozolol and trenbolone
So when are the oversized shirts dropping 👀
Karlos should leave bulgaria for what there trying with him
First 💪

We need more capitalism in weightlifting ❤
