0:21 seconds in: "I take this, I CRYO-VAC it, put it in 131 degree water for 10 hours." 🤔😒

Here was a lot of advertising but what the heck, Kelly might need the dollars for her channel.
So, sous vide meat is as simple to do as he says. But you need a sous vide utensils, of course. OR, you brown your piece of meat, season it, wrap it up in an oven-proof "bag" (often plastic but more nature friendly alternatives are popping up on the market as we speak), and out it in the oven at the given temperature for many hours. The souse vide machine will keep the temperature much better than an oven will do so you perhaps need to test until you find the mileage of your oven.
Anyway, while in the oven for many hours you don't have to bother but are free to do whatever or sleep, as you would do with the sous vide machine.

  • @jmatt4life

That’s more like 30 minutes work.
    Washing and cutting the vegetables.
    Prepping the cheese.
Seasoning and prepping the meat for soups vide.
You have to prepare and plan what you’re serving in.
    What about clean up?

Wow surprised to see him on TV so soon after that fatal accident he was involved in in weeks prior. 2 people were dead and he and his people left the scene of the accident in the middle of the night

I'm not sure how he could be on TV cooking while his wife is under investigation for a boat crash that resulted in someones death. Reports say she had alcohol on her breath, he was in the boat as well.

I'm confused. He said it took 10 hours to cook the meat. So any American can make it in 10 hours and 8 minutes. Are you allowed to cook this in Germany or Canada or is it just Americans?

He's trying to sell the meat...it's already prepared when it's packaged -- you order it online and it is delivered to your house. Basically, you make the salad and slice the meat and you're done. Maybe the salad stuff comes with it...I wasn't listening that close -- Kathy was distracting me. lol.

Why the hell is Kevin O'Leary still on TV after being involved in the death of 2 people..then pathetically tried to get in front of it to blame the victims. Yet Rosanne Barr and Don Cherry unintentionally "offend" people by comments which are taken of of context lose their jobs!.... I suppose in today's society it's a bigger crime to accidentally "offend" someone than it is to actually take lives!

What, put a piece of meet in 131 °C for 10 hours will possibly make it charcoal, right?
The intended joke aside, as soon as you put something on TH-cam it becomes *international* and suddenly ISO standard units is the norm, and not imperial units. Most of the world is unfamiliar with anything but meter, kilo, Celsius, etc. If you really care for the international audience, which I sincerely hope you do, I guess the best you can do is to sub-text your clips when needed before you post them on TH-cam or alike. But if you don't care about the international audience, please find a local service but not TH-cam. Since TH-cam is international by default.
Still, I have not made my thumb go up or down just yet, that depends on the rest of the clip (just because I like Kelly and want to give her a second chance).

Next comment is: "I cryovac it" is concealed announcement for a particular brand. The correct term is what he also says "sous vide"which basically is French for "vacuum pack". Meaning you put the food in a plastic bag and such out all air and then you cook the bag, usually a long time in a low temperature. There are many brands that provide those utilities.
The term "cryo" in this context is very much misleading. The "sous vide" technique has *_absolutely nothing_* to do with "cryo" which is Greek for icy cold, chill, frost and usually implies extreme cold. For example when freezing organs (or even human bodies) for future use/reviving. Actually, cryovac and sous vide are clashing, as the latter implies cooking a bag of vacuum packed food while the former implies storing food under vacuum in an extremely very low temperature. So, "cryovac" was a very badly chosen name for that brand, sorry to bring you the facts :-P
