Every time it surprises me how much I'm touched by hearing Mark Hollis sing and seeing him in person, especially without the sunglasses, even after so many listens, its a mystery to me, for that has never happened in my life with any other band or singer. Not with The Beatles, Dylan, Young, Cohen, you name them, all the ones I love so much. Hollis makes me want to cry and laugh in the same time, feeling sorry for the World and yet blessed to live: miraculous.
