20:11 I actually think new players experience with FG1 that keeps them from doing dungeons. New players don't care about skips or efficiency they want to play the game. They get left behind and the boss is dead even before they figure whats going on.
Hi, Jake! Great Video. I have run all those dungeons hundreds of times. Some painfully lol... I do want to add a few things. March of Sac, Moon Hunter, Lair of Maar, and Moongrave all start with M oddly but there are a few things you forgot to mention. all 4 of them drop Rare Recipe's that sell for Millions. So Make sure to Slot CP Green Homemaker for a chance at 2 Recipe's at Final Boss on Vet. Also, MoS has an amazing Memento you get for doing the 3 secret Wisp Hunts. It is One of the Coolest Memento's. and a Secret Chest 1..) Other thing i wanted to mention. Is Dungeons Like Scrivener's Hall have very Lucrative Style Materials you get like Glass Eye of Mora so make sure to Decon your stuff!.. Used in Necrom Recipe's Which makes it also well worth doing. Finally, and i could go on and on but Black Drake Villa also has a Super Rare Memento you can get by completing all 3 secret bosses then the final Secret Boss can drop it. I would Drop Coral Aeire to Ruins (Not Hurt lol) my Soul because ZOS put a Lead behind the Final Secret Boss making it nearly maddening to get especially in Pug groups LOL. Thanks again for your hard work and i am always running dungeons on PC NA Tank or DPS!
I don't think rushing through Fungal Grotto 1, skipping most of it, is a good way to be introduced to dungeons. This is where worlds collide the hardest in ESO. You have someone on their first character, entering a dungeon for the first time, hoping to really explore the place, on one side. Someone with 2k+ CP and meta gear, hoping to get 10 transmute crystals in 2 minutes and not be late to their trifecta prog on the other side. Everyone loses. I mean, it is the best random when everyone knows the skip, but I have seen too many people in utter confusion in that place. CoA2 is too long for the "perfect" tier, especially those two events on the platforms before the last boss. Also, the possible skips are more annoying than just going the normal way and people still do them. It is one of the better base game dungeons, but definitely not perfect. Apart from that I agree with a lot of what you say. Of course, I would rate some dungeons differently, but that is purely a matter of taste. For example, I would add design and atmosphere to the evaluation, giving Vaults of Madness and Unhallowed Grave a bump up.
Great video, Jake! Thank you for all the hard work you put into it. If you ever get around to it, it may be cool to do a video on the top five most expensive crafting motifs, or a top five most expensive craft bag items, or a top five most expensive furniture plans. Please don’t let chapters be something that makes you not want to do videos, if you don’t wanna do chapters, just don’t do them - people will still watch.
I think you've got some dungeons backwards. Dark Shade 1 is Sentinel of Rkugamz.... which is not Symphony of Blades, but is a good starter healer monster set until they have SoB Dark Shade 2 is Engine Guardian... which is a recommended Tank Club set when you need a greedy set to stay alive.
I would move Scriverner's Hall to the Great or Perfect Dungeon😮...and here's why. Killing Cartoklepts in side tunnels give you 2 small or large keys, which allow you to roll for rare books and rare furnishings (Scriveners Hall Vault Door {SELLS FOR 900K TO 1 MIL EACH}; Nesting Boulder, Green; Nesting Stones, Green {SELLING FOR 50K+ EACH}). Last but not least, the style material Glass Eye of Mora can be had from breaking down weapons and armor from this dungeon. They still sell for 7 to 10k each. Oh, all of these itmes can be had from running it on normal with a 2 or 3 man pug group.
Someone sent me this video to see what my reaction is. As a Dungeon Guild GM, this is actually spot on. 100%. As I watching, I found myself agreeing to every word. I was honestly surprised by how much you know. I would not change anything on the list. This list went on detail. Really great for the upcoming player to know what’s worth to go for and what’s not. Great job Jake, this got me to subscribed
Coral Aerie is on my sh!t list! I wanted savior of necrom for the mount and you have to get that antiquity piece from this dungeon. After doing the 3 side bosses, fighting another boss after the final boss 12 times for the lead I am DONE with this dungeon. 😂
Lmao good luck playing Falkreath Hold without the rest of the group running as fast as possible through everything and bugging out the big skeleton boss in the middle
Great list, but it leaves out farming those must have antiquities leads needed for mythics, and other potentially desired antiquities leads for a new player like the Ebon Wolf :).
You mean successor. Predecessor means something that comes before. And I groan whenever Tempest Island comes up. Sets be damned, they really let the designers indulge themselves...
Look... i know shipwrights regret probably deserves its high placement... but i cant stand it anymore. 😂 People would farm the hell out of it and id get thrown in via pug finder and end up having to run it multiple times a day on each of my toons
Oh jake, jake, jake… I usually agree with you on most things but I gotta stand my ground. CoA 2 is truly the bane of my existence. It is THEE longest most boring dungeon in the game. I’m prepared to die on this hill.
Unhollowed Grave is ez S thier, draugerkin is BiS on alot of mag pvp builds, the last boss is just freaking awesome with giant skeleton, hidden mechanics are fun, and the monster set I think, is heavily slept on for magcro.
By the time I was able to farm Frosvault they nerfed the set and made lasers no longer kill you on contact. Same with Maelstrom - the month I got the coveted staff it was nerfed! Good times.
Well, Jake, the game has broken me. Last night I took on Short-tusk 6 more times and died spectacularly each time. That’s not what has broken me, I don’t mind dying. During my failures the game gave me 4 more champion points. So the game is telling me that I am better than I actually am. Before long I’ll be hitting CP500 and still not able to beat short-tusk. That’s what has broken me. Why on earth is the game continually throwing CP points at me? I am so frustrated - the game has broken me, I’m done. Thank you Jake for all you’ve done. I wonder how many other people end up quitting for similar reasons? Hey, there might be a video in this for you!
@@Official_JakeClips YES! Maybe you could explain how they are earned, I have no idea why in failure I continue to receive CP. Is it simply a way of encouraging us to keep going? Or are they suppose to be an actual representation of how good we are - which makes no sense considering I get them in failure. I don't mind failing, I played through Elden Ring- twice. I would simply love to understand why and how they are given.
How about posting a list of dungeons and asking everyone to rank difficulty from 1 to 10 (for normal and vet). I have an older list (from Tank Club?) through the Wrathstone DLC and shows vet dungeons ranked at 11 out of 10 (in Horns of the Reach, Dragon Bones, wolfhunter, and Wrathdyone DLCs). I can share the spreadsheet if anyone wants it.
personally, Vaults of Madness is a Hurts My Soul. Why? Because getting this dungeon to get your quest and skillpoint with a low lvl toon and getting paired with a jackass speedrunner that doesn't care about your quest is a terrible experience. Also to that list, Moonhunter Keep. That one because my first time doing this dungeon as a tank learning the game, had just gotten this dungeon at lvl 45, was trying DLC dungeons for the first time, and back in the day it still had a lot of its punishing mechanics before they outright removed from from the normal version (which I disagree should still be there, just less punishing otherwise we don't learn) buuuuut....I was paired with a completely toxic jackass DPS that kept berating me for not knowing the dungeon and treating me like crap, and it has ruined the dungeon for me forever. I'm not even worried about running it anymore, I'm a much more experienced tank that has gone through veteran trials comfortably, but it still remains my most hated dungeon forever just because one asshole one day made it my worst ESO experience. Stay strong and keep tanking for the good players out there. (and please be patient with your tanks, they need to learn too).
When you are raring these sets are you basing your opinion on whole game experience? I know that there is going to be power creep as the game lives on. MTG is the same way. Anyhow have you ever done a ranking where you look at just base gane experiences? In other words compair base gane sets against just base game exoerience. My kids play with me and my gf. They are atuck with base game. They want builds that will suite them for their limitations. Great videos by the way. Really enjoy seeing a break down of where to spend my time. Right now Murkmire is my bane.
Lair of Maarselok is the worst dungeon in the entire game. It's one of the worst pieces of content in the game. If i ever qeue into that dungeon, you will be finding my replacement.
Some quick edits
Spindle clutch 2 has bloodspawn I wrote my script backwards so that gives it a bump
Wayrest sewers is also flipped backwards also !
i was worried u somehow didnt know bloodspawn still meta for DK's ☠
BC2 has the best in slot monster set for sorcs while the one from bc1 is utter trash 💁♂️
As a newer player to ESO, your videos have helped so much. Huge thanks!
Thank you so much Roxanna!

Elemental catalyst has not been replaced - every good trial group comp still requires someone in EC :)
Vaults of Madness is my favorite from a visual standpoint. It's just a cool looking dungeon with the long drops and visuals.
Don’t forget for Scrivener’s Hall, that the style material is what is used to craft some of the Apocrypha furnishings

Farming frostvault pre-sticker book for Tzog will always be a core memory

Awesome vid Jake! Thanks for taking the time to post this 👍
The groan I groan when i get CoA 2 is strong. It's so painfully long.
Got to love that fork in the road at the end where you have to go through the same non-skippable/non-rushable mechs twice!
hi Jakeclips thanks for the info about Dungeon !
Woah. This is awesome! You are hustling. Well done. Cheers!
Thanks so much!
I find Frostvault and Fang Lair HMs fun & I’ve made a good amount of good doing worm wizard Carries
I have always been a fan of DoM, however, I would put maarsolek in the hurts my soul category bc the length cancels out anything you can get there
Jake, thanks so much for this!!

Great video! FYI, You confused Wayrest 1 & 2. Wayrest 1 is the one that drops slimecraw, not wayrest 2.
The only reason I farmed Coral Aerie was for a lead drop...and it was painful.
Someone sent me this video to see what my reaction is. As a Dungeon Guild GM, this is actually spot on. 100%. As I watching, I found myself agreeing to every word. Ooof I know I made some mistakes haha
Great work as usual Jake 👍.
Go out and treat yourself to a new Liverpool shirt 👍 👍 👍
Up the Reds!

Try doing HM on that one. 😝
groan. Your opening dad joke was extra dad today!
Loving these videos
I generally don't do very many of the DLC dungeons unless I'm farming something in particular. I do the other two daily undaunted but not that one
Lmao good luck playing Falkreath Hold without the rest of the group running as fast as possible through everything and bugging out the big skeleton boss in the middle
Unhallowed Grave is my favorite one with Graven Deep close second.
Whats the best sets for pvp mag sorc
Still trying to get the last lead for gaze of sithas from cradle of shadows. Will it ever drop. Nobody knows.
WTG is S++++ simply for how many vocal stims it gives me. "THE SCROLL IS MINE! KILL THEM AAAALL!"
I would have liked to see the rest of the DLC dungeons (FL, SCP, LoM etc)
Are there any of these that are soloable? :) Thanks Jake!
Lots can be but it’s not ideal - but you can always q for specific ones I’d try out spindleclutch 1
What’s the best set in your opinion you can get in a dungeon?
Hard to say as things change but I’d say pillar of nirn
Great list, but it leaves out farming those must have antiquities leads needed for mythics, and other potentially desired antiquities leads for a new player like the Ebon Wolf :).

And I groan whenever Tempest Island comes up. Sets be damned, they really let the designers indulge themselves...
I actually chuckled at your bad joke this time!
See I’m getting better !
@@Official_JakeClips try and shorten up the set up in the future ie: Why was the witch so grumpy? She had resting witch face!
Look... i know shipwrights regret probably deserves its high placement... but i cant stand it anymore. 😂
People would farm the hell out of it and id get thrown in via pug finder and end up having to run it multiple times a day on each of my toons
naw, no rage. good list. You explained why you thought stuff. it would be weird to be raged over a dungeon tier list imo.

I hate frostvault with all of my heart
Jumping over the lasers successfully is fun, and that's the one great thing about it
By the time I was able to farm Frosvault they nerfed the set and made lasers no longer kill you on contact. Same with Maelstrom - the month I got the coveted staff it was nerfed! Good times.
Selena is a go-to monster set for ganking
I'm not a ganker, my friend told me about Selena.

Ya. EC is in all my progs. Nothing else gives 15 % crit buff that I can think of.
Next up, books tier list in ESO. Good luck!
should have started the vid with ''this is ranked by my personal opinion'' as the joke 🤣🤣🤣
But then they’d be more mad there isn’t a pun

This gotta be the worse tier list yet! you gotta be the only person in all of ESO who likes CoA2 & Coral Aerie in Skippable is crazy 🤣
Fair 😅
Imperial city prison is trash too. 😅
i hate shipwright , its boring af ,
Lair of Maarselok is the worst dungeon in the entire game. It's one of the worst pieces of content in the game.

ALL dungeons you can't complete solo are trash. Black drake is no good because you can only do 1 side boss solo.
So the easier the dungeon the better it is is kinda a lame take. Do you even like playing the game?
I do! But I also have lots of solo players who enjoy a smoother environment with good rewards :)
Unfollowing after I saw city of ash in perfect
Honestly, fair
Cradle of shadows does not have a personality
The heroic personality I think?
Cradle of shadows has spiderkith skin
Dread cellar is trash.
