But nowadays I think Tim tam is overrated now but u can still do it in the Aussie way with a Flat White. Lamington is just *chef kiss* arguably the best desert in the world hands down (in my opinion).

I swear I took a whole suitcase back full of snacks when I visited Australia. One of the best snacks were the lamingtons. The ones that have a jam filling. My Ozzie husband couldn’t have prepared me for how delicious those were. 😂😂😂

All those snacks are awesome. My fave shapes are the Savoury ones. Pop them into your air fryer for a few mins to warm up - they’re absolutely awesome and it’s as close as you’re going to get to ‘straight off the line in the factory’. I miss my dad working for Arnotts.

My son married a woman and moved to Australia from the USA. I visited them last October. We flew in to Perth and missed our next flight and got stuck there overnight. Our flight out to them wasn’t until the afternoon of the next day so we ventured out and had some delicious food from a bakery down the street from our hotel. We had meat filled pies and some kind of pastries. All were delicious. Next time I’ll try the vanilla slice when I visit. 😊

Mint Slice is another good Aussie sweet biscuit. BBQ Shapes are God tier though, and Burger Rings slap 🤤 fairy bread is a childhood party food but is still amazing as an adult. You also have to try Milo.

Baskin Robbins is American but it came here and cold rock is like non existent anymore 😢 I think Bulla and Streets are some of the best icecream we have to offer in Australia 😊 not to mention Gaytime is probably one of the best icecreams in my opinion!
The only Australian snack I've tried is Tim Tams, but I think they were milk chocolate. They were good, from what I remember! I think the last time I've tried it was maybe 2015.
