Very good job Ben. I like your small and compact bender. Thanks for sharing your ideeas

Most of us have an old sausage machine and a lathe, so we can all duplicate your work quite easily.
Looks like you did a good job. There is a recently video on how to make a die for $10 using 3d printed parts and plate steel, you should check it out.

The dies I made are protools 105 dies you can purchase them. The sausage machine I used was also my preference, you can buy a manual 8Ton hydraulic ram for £35. I haven't got a 3d printer.

I have that same bender from gottrikes. I'm dying to go electric hydro too but can't find the right ram and pump setup. Can you help me find a link to the correct ram and pump?

Hi, it will come down to budget. The formulae is force = psi x piston area.
So if you found a pump producing 2500psi and the ram has a 3" diameter bore then the force would be 8tonnes, the same as the manual ram.

Very nice! Compact, too. May I inquire about the helicopter? Is it your design, or plans, or a kit? My neighbour was a military helicopter mechanic and talks about getting a mini helicopter. He might be interested in this. Thank you!

Hi and thanks. Yes, the helicopter is my own design, I've made just about every thing on it, including the blades. It's inspired by the Bensen b9 and Nolan coaxial helicopters. This is my other channel youtube.com/@btd1982
Which is all about it. Cheers Ben

So amazing. Can I buy a die from you? Looking to bend 1 5/8" tube.

Hi and thanks. The Dies are a pain to make, take ages and cost a lot in material. Can't compete with the price of the ones available online unfortunately.

There is a recent video on using 3d printed parts to make a die. They work great, not junk. Search you will find it

😆 yes, four wheels can be fun but I also like no wheels.
