      Back several years ago with Ben, Zac, and Jamie behind the camera blade hq coverage was hard to beat. But they have all new people that have limited live coverage and unfortunately it’s showing. DCA is killer though and an amazing host/interviewer!

      I appreciate their camera men more too. They zoom in sooo much better and the picture is very clear. The adjusting on the zoom is fast and clear unlike at bhq.. very blurry over there and takes forever to adjust .. I won’t buy a knife if I can’t see it!

      @@TrustNoOne88 Its not just the camera man... it is also the way you hold the knife, if your camera has troubles focusing, you can simply hold your hand behind it.

    I used to work for a German company and their's is one of the great cultures of the world. German manufacturing is an expression of this greatness. The only thing I hope for Boker is that they continue to design and manufacture while staying true to their own vision. I think the US market place has been slow to catch on, this in no small part owes to a cultural disconnect which is at times significant. No matter. Anyone who has ever laid hands on a Solingen-made Boker is an instant convert. Their designs, quality of materials, and excellent quality control is peerless. As long as they keep getting knives in customers' hands I predict they will only become more popular over time. (Oh, and they are upmarket knives, at least for now. They can't and shouldn't compete for a mainstream audience*)

    • @mojojoe-jo2170
      @mojojoe-jo2170 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I forgot to add that Boker Arbolito out of Argentina makes some great knives as well. I like them nearly as much as the Solingen knives and they do a great job of embodying the Argentine Gaucho culture. I own a half-dozen fixed blade Arbolitos and would never part with any of them.

    Hey Mr. Carsten, Boker makes a nice knife, but their warranty sucks. I've got a knife and spring broken supposed to be lifetime guaranteed but when I try to contact them they said I could send it to but it would come back without a spring and that's all I need is a spring. If they just send me the spring I would put it in myself. I guess the knife's lifetime warty is just for the blade because the wood has fallen out of my handle in the spring is broken.

I can only assume next year's final tank series will have to be the Russian T34 which i can assure you will also become part of collection. man I gotta stop watching these videos. too many knives I want and not enough money for them all. there's about 7 just on this video that I'd love to own and that's not counting all the newer designs from other companies. lmfao
