Excited to see more 14c28n.
Larrin Thomas (the developer of Magnacut) broke down the properties of various inexpensive ingot formed steels and this is his most recommended one. Toughness vs stainlessness vs edge retention, this one takes the cake for being the best combination of the three.
You can get more tough steels or steels with higher edge retention, but not both at the same time unless you move to certain powder formed steels... like Magnacut.
Its great to see Condor using it, and i would like to see even more companies use it in more of their designs.
"Excited to see more 14c28n." Me too! If some company made a full convex blade (much like the fallkniven f1) in 14c28n and with a puukko handle and palm swell. i'd be over the moon.
14c is awesome and needs to be the new budget steel... if it was made it 8cr then it needs to be now made in 14c.
Hell I would be happy even the replaced 8cr13mov with 12c27. I can't stand 8cr and it needs to be gone with 2022 and 12c or 14c being it's replacement.
i think its so cool that condor is working with 14c28n and a flat grind in the sport series knives and 14c28n on the new bushlore (the "aqualore"). and i have soooo much respect to the people at condor for developing and releasing a new folding knife

14C28N so exciting! I feel like they've been teasing this for years. Definitely getting an aqualore. That blue micarta looks dope, but what I really want is an aqua canyon carver. How versatile of a knife that would be.

I have an old Kershaw Leek with 14c28n that was my first "real" knife. Needless to say, i love that steel and am very excited to see Condor using it
Got a Kershaw blur nearly 10 years ago in 14c28. Was impressed by it then, so glad to see it finally catching on.
Best interview on shot show yet. A real conversation between two real people. So different from other retailers this year. I'll be checking out Condor knives for sure!

That Bolo kydex is amazing! So many people don’t buy certain knives when they came with the crappy nylon fabric sheaths that every knife came with in the 00’s and some still do unfortunately.
That enduro is a sweet looking blade. And that heritage axe has a very nice handle!

I'm from El Salvador and didn't know about the Condor brand only the Imacasa brand that is the owner and is very famous here, I proud and amazed by such a quality made here

I love Joe Flowers’ passion and creativity. I just can’t get past my impression that most Condor knives look like they were made in someone’s garage workshop.
A garage workshop would be 10x better. It's much tougher for production companies

Gotta love Joes energy! Really liking Condors stretching of their wings. I got an axe as a young man, it’s double bit, and has the flats on the handle, love that axe. Can’t wait to get a hold of the heritage. The aqualore looks very nice too.

I don’t care about the specs on the Wendigo and the Ulu I’m getting one! Looks great and my friend is from Nunavut and would love one! Also the First Nations in my area still tell legends of the wendigo and in Cree it’s pronounced “Weent-Ico”

I dig Joe very much as a person. And outstanding designer. Loooove the move with Artisan, too. Always open but stay clean with Condor on the brand focus and PM steel stuff with external source as a design collaboration. Authentic.
That‘s what I miss with Kershaw and other major brands. Chinese manufacturers are known to be all over the place and catch what they can get.
love the condor guy. seems like he is really into knives and his products. you can tell some of these companies reps are like, "ahhh...yeah, its a knife". trying to describe their knives. lol
I really like those "Sport" series fixed blades. Can't find them anywhere on the internet yet though.

I'm truly torn between my Makara and Yoshimi machete as my end times packable long blade. I like the thickness of the Yoshimi but I LOVE the handle, nimbless and overall look and feel of the Makara. Plus after seeing various destruction tests I have full faith in both. Maybe I just pack the two or them...swords akimbo! 😄
